Description
【0001】

[Industrial applications]
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a glass block which is excellent in heat insulation, sound insulation and lighting, and is used for an exterior material or an interior material of a building or a staircase.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The glass block is a building material having a hollow portion and made of box-shaped glass whose inside is decompressed. To manufacture this, a pair of glass moldings having a box shape with a bottom and no lid is used. After preparing, these open edges are softened and melted by heating with a burner using a mixed gas of air or oxygen gas and city gas or LPG, and then they are fused and integrated by bringing them into contact with each other. The method of cooling is adopted.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Usually, a glass block is made of transparent glass, and various designs are given by engraving a predetermined pattern on an inner surface corresponding to a bottom surface of a concave portion of a glass molded body constituting the glass block.
[0004]
An object of the present invention is to provide a glass block that has a function of emitting light even in darkness in view of the diversification of architectural designs, so that a kind of unique taste can be obtained.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the glass block of the present invention, in a glass block in which a pair of transparent glass molded bodies having a bottom without a lid and having a recess are fused and integrated at their open end edges, a luminescent surface is provided on the inner surface corresponding to the bottom of the recess. It is characterized in that a layer containing a substance is formed.
[0006]
Further, the glass block of the present invention is characterized in that a layer containing a light-emitting substance is colored with a coloring agent.
[0007]
Further, the glass block of the present invention is characterized in that the layer containing a light-emitting substance is formed by mixing a light-emitting substance in a low-melting glass, and the low-melting glass has a low coloring property. It is characterized by being a melting point glass.
[0008]
In order to manufacture the glass block of the present invention, first, a pair of transparent glass molded bodies having a concave portion with a bottom and no lid is prepared, and a luminescent substance is applied to an inner surface corresponding to the concave bottom surface of one or both of the glass molded bodies. The material containing is deposited or placed. Thereafter, the open edges of each glass molded body are softened and melted by heating, and the open edges are brought into contact with each other to be fused and integrated. Next, it is placed in a lehr and subjected to gradual strain.
[0009]
As the luminescent substance used in the present invention, a phosphorescent phosphor that accumulates upon receiving light, gradually accumulates light after accumulating a certain amount, and a phosphor that emits light when irradiated with ultraviolet rays are suitable.
[0010]
However, the luminescent substance used in the present invention and the material mixed therewith are limited to those which do not deteriorate when the open edge of the glass molded body is heated or gradually cooled.
[0011]
Further, when a low melting point glass is used as a material to be mixed with the luminescent substance, it is necessary to use a low melting point glass having a property of softening and melting at a slow cooling temperature.
[0012]
[Action]
In the present invention, when a phosphorescent substance is used as a light-emitting substance, even if the phosphor is turned off at night or power is cut off, light is emitted for a while due to the afterglow of the phosphorescent substance. When illuminated by a headlight, a flashlight, or the like, light is emitted by the light emitting action of the phosphor. In particular, when the layer containing a light-emitting substance is colored by a coloring agent, the layer develops a color tone of the colored layer, so that a unique taste can be obtained.
[0013]
Further, since the layer containing the luminescent substance in the present invention is formed in the hollow portion of the glass block, it is hardly damaged by impact and does not deteriorate due to wind and rain.
[0014]
Further, in the present invention, it is preferable that the layer containing the luminescent substance is a layer in which the luminescent substance is mixed in the low-melting glass, since a layer having excellent heat resistance, weather resistance and high adhesive strength can be obtained. .
[0015]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the glass block of the present invention will be described in detail based on examples.
[0016]
First, 30% by weight of the phosphorescent phosphor powder and 70% by weight of the colored low-melting glass powder are mixed, deposited on an iron plate, and then heat-treated at 300 ° C. for 30 minutes, so that the glass powder and the phosphorescent phosphor powder adhere to each other. Then, the glass powder was softened and melted to produce a plate-shaped colored low-melting glass sintered body having a thickness of about 1 mm.
[0017]
This phosphorescent phosphor is based on a commercially available aluminate, and has an oxide composition of 65% by weight of Al 2 O 3 and 32% by weight of SrO, and a rare metal element. Dy 2 O 3 and Eu 2 O 3 are contained in a total amount of 3%. The colored low-melting glass is a commercially available lead borosilicate glass obtained by adding a small amount of cobalt oxide as a coloring agent, and has a blue color.
[0018]
Next, as shown in FIG. 1, a pair of
[0019]
After that, the above-described colored low melting point glass sintered
[0020]
Next, this is placed in an annealing furnace set to a temperature of 540 ° C., thereby gradually straining the glass, softening and melting the colored low-melting glass sintered
[0021]
Thus, a glass block in which a colored layer containing a phosphorescent phosphor was formed on the bottom surface in the concave portion of one glass molded
[0022]
Note that, in the present embodiment, there is no mention of engraving a pattern on the inner surface of the glass molded body, but various designs may be performed by engraving the pattern on the inner surface of the concave portion of one or both glass molded bodies. Needless to say.
[0023]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the glass block of the present invention is formed with a layer containing a light-emitting substance on the inner surface, so that it is turned off at night, emits light for a while even after a power outage, or has a headlight or a flashlight for an automobile. It emits light when illuminated by an electric light, so it can create a unique taste. Also, by emitting light, it is possible to easily recognize the existence of walls and stairs even in the dark, thus helping to prevent accidents .
[0024]
Further, when the layer containing a luminescent substance is colored by a coloring agent, the glass block develops a color in the color tone, so that a more excellent design can be obtained.
