[Industrial applications]
The present invention generally relates to a molding machine that extrudes a molten resin material into a desired cross-sectional shape such as a cylindrical shape or an irregular shape, and generally relates to the shape of an inner die (a die composed of a torpedo, a spider, and a mandrel), and relates to inflation, pipe, tube, foaming, and irregular shapes. It can also be applied to extrusion molding such as. .
[0002]
[Prior art]
The inner die for extruding the molten resin material into a desired cross-sectional shape such as a cylindrical shape or an irregular shape has a plurality of spiders called support arms between the inner die and the outer die to hold the same. . One example is shown in FIG.
[0003]
The spider has a thin plate-like object arranged parallel to the flow of the molten resin material. Therefore, the resistance to the flow of the molten resin material is relatively small.
[0004]
However, since the molten resin material passing through the spider is divided into a plurality of pieces in the flow direction by the spider, a line mark called a spider mark is generated. Various measures have been proposed and implemented to eliminate the line mark.
[0005]
For example, in the case of an inflation die, a spiral inner die is employed. An example of this is shown in FIG.
[0006]
Due to this die shape, the flow of the molten resin material here is extruded over the spiral shape and extruded in the exit direction parallel to the die center axis, and extruded along the spiral shape on the spiral line in the exit direction. It is trying to prevent the generation of line marks due to kneading with resin.
[0007]
However, in the case of this die, the flow of the molten resin material is such that the central portion of the die is extruded in a lump in parallel with the central axis of the die. At the angle of, several are radially changed and divided toward the outer peripheral direction of the inner die.
[0008]
Thereafter, the direction of the molten resin material further reaching the inner wall surface of the outer die is changed again at an angle of 60 to 90 degrees, and a part of the molten resin material is formed along the inner wall surface of the outer die and a part is formed in a spiral shape. It is pushed out to the die exit along.
[0009]
As described above, there is a new problem that the flow of the molten resin material is extremely unreasonable before the molten resin material reaches the spiral portion and the pressure loss increases.
[0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a die capable of simultaneously preventing line marks from being generated by the spider of the inner die and reducing pressure loss.
[0011]
In addition, the use of the die can improve the quality, increase the production amount, and reduce the equipment cost.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, a structure described below is employed.
[0013]
That is, in a molding machine for extruding a molten resin material into a desired cross-sectional shape such as a cylindrical shape or an irregular shape, a spider for holding the inner die and a convex portion of the inner die having a spiral shape are continuously integrated. I do. With this structure, the spider does not generate a spider mark.
[0014]
It is also a feature of the mold of the present invention that a warhead-shaped torpedo is provided in front of the spider and the projection of the spiral-shaped inner die in order to reduce pressure.
[0015]
These structures are shown, for example, in FIG.
[0016]
[Action]
The molten resin material extruded from the extruder to the bottom of the die in a lump changes its flow direction smoothly toward the inner wall of the outer die by a warhead-shaped torpedo, and then continuously integrates with the protrusion of the inner die having a spiral shape. It is pushed out to the spider which has been transformed. FIG. 4 shows the relationship among the spiral inner die, outer die, spider, and resin inlet.
[0017]
The material of the mold may be any structural material such as ceramics (zirconia or the like) or metal.
[0018]
Here, the molten resin material is once divided by a spider that is continuously integrated with the projection of the inner die having a spiral shape, but is once divided by a flow extruded along the spiral shape and a flow extruded by overflow. The molten resin material is sufficiently kneaded and extruded sequentially while ensuring a uniform flow rate. Thereafter, the flow becomes a substantially linear flow, and is extruded from the die lip and formed into a desired cross-sectional shape.
[0019]
The resin molded product can be a product having excellent quality such as not being damaged.
[0020]
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described specifically with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
[0021]
【Example】
Example 1
A tubular polyethylene film was formed under the following conditions.
[0022]
As a result, a good quality polyethylene film without spider marks could be produced.
[0023]
Further, the pressure loss can be significantly reduced as compared with the spiral-shaped inner die, and an increase in the production amount is expected.
[0024]
Example 2
A vinyl chloride pipe was molded under the following conditions.
[0025]
As a result, since there was no spider mark, a pipe having high crushing strength and good quality could be manufactured.
[0026]
【The invention's effect】
The use of the mold in the extrusion molding machine of the present invention has prevented the occurrence of spider marks due to the spider and reduced the pressure loss due to the spiral method. Due to this effect, it is expected that defects such as insufficient pressure resistance of the molded product due to the interposition of the spider mark and the occurrence of line marks in the prior art are eliminated. In addition, since the resin flow path is made smooth, it is expected that a uniform and excellent quality molded product can be produced.
