TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a driving force distribution control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle in which a torque distribution ratio transmitted to a front wheel and a rear wheel is controlled by a torque distribution actuator provided in a drive system that distributes engine torque to a front wheel and a rear wheel. Belongs to the technical field.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a driving force distribution control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle, for example, a driving force distribution control device described in JP-A-11-278080 is known.
[0003]
This publication describes that a drive current is output as a command value to a torque distribution clutch, and the clutch engagement torque is determined based on the magnitude of the drive current.
[0004]
As described above, in the case of controlling the torque distribution clutch with current, in order to prevent the load (heat generation) on the drive circuit of the controller, the PWM characteristic (which modulates the pulse width of the pulse signal in which the applied current is repeatedly turned ON / OFF at a predetermined frequency) is used. Pulse width modulation control (hereinafter referred to as PWM control), which is a current based on pulse width modulation characteristics, is used.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional driving force distribution control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle, when the PWM control based on the PWM frequency (for example, 400 Hz) for reducing the load (heat generation) of the driving circuit of the controller is adopted, the torque distribution clutch is set to a high torque. In this case, there is a problem that the torque distribution clutch vibrates due to a slight change in the transmission torque due to the current pulsation, and noise is generated.
[0006]
Therefore, in order to solve this problem, the original purpose is to adopt PWM control with a high PWM frequency (for example, 600 Hz) so as to eliminate abnormal noise when the torque distribution clutch is engaged with high torque. There is a problem that the load (heat generation) on the drive circuit of the controller cannot be reduced.
[0007]
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a four-wheel drive capable of achieving both a reduction in the load on the drive circuit of the controller during normal low torque transmission and the elimination of abnormal noise generated under conditions requiring high torque. It is an object of the present invention to provide a driving force distribution control device for a vehicle.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, a torque distribution ratio transmitted to the front wheels and the rear wheels is controlled by a control command from a torque distribution controller for a torque distribution clutch provided in a drive system that distributes engine torque to the front wheels and the rear wheels. In a driving force distribution control device for a four-wheel drive vehicle,
Target torque calculating means for calculating an optimum target torque to be transmitted by engaging the torque distribution clutch in accordance with an operation state;

The high-torque running state determining means may be a means for determining that the vehicle is in a high-torque running state when the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detecting means is equal to or lower than a set vehicle speed.
[0012]
Function and Effect of the Invention
According to the present invention, a torque distribution ratio transmitted to the front wheels and the rear wheels by a control command from a torque distribution controller for a torque distribution clutch provided in a drive system that distributes engine torque to the front wheels and the rear wheels. Is controlled.
At this time, in the target torque calculating means, an optimum target torque transmitted by the engagement of the torque distribution clutch is calculated according to the operating state, and in the torque-current conversion means, the calculated target torque is applied to the current applied to the torque distribution clutch. The high torque running state determining means determines whether the vehicle is in the high torque running state, and the applied current frequency setting means modulates the pulse width of a pulse signal in which the applied current is repeatedly turned on and off at a predetermined frequency. The current is determined by the characteristic, and the higher the frequency is, the higher the frequency is. The higher the frequency is, the higher the frequency is set. The torque distribution controller outputs a variable PWM characteristic drive current to the torque distribution clutch.
That is, the frequency of the PWM characteristic is set low during the low-torque running state, and the load (heat generation) on the drive circuit of the torque distribution controller is reduced as compared with the case where the drive current is kept flowing. Further, in the high torque running state, the frequency of the PWM characteristic is set to be high, and the transmission torque fluctuation due to the current pulsation is suppressed to be smaller than that in the case of the PWM characteristic with the low frequency, so that the noise caused by the vibration of the torque distribution clutch is eliminated.
Therefore, by making the PWM characteristics variable depending on whether the vehicle is in a high-torque running state, it is possible to reduce the load on the drive circuit of the controller during normal low-torque transmission and to eliminate abnormal noise generated under conditions requiring high torque. Can be achieved.
[0013]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the high-torque running state determining means determines that the vehicle is in the high-torque running state when the current applied to the torque distribution clutch exceeds the set current.
Therefore, whether or not the vehicle is in the high-torque running state can be accurately determined based on the magnitude of the applied current that is the direct information that determines the engagement torque of the torque distribution clutch.
[0014]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the high-torque running state determining means determines that the vehicle is in the high-torque running state when the accelerator opening detected by the accelerator opening detecting means exceeds the set opening. You.
That is, in the driving force distribution control device, in order to secure the acceleration performance, the target torque to the torque distribution clutch is increased as the accelerator opening by the accelerator operation of the driver is increased, and the front and rear wheel driving force distribution is set to the four-wheel drive side. Is performed.
Therefore, the accelerator opening information can be used as indirect information for determining the engagement torque of the torque distribution clutch, and it is possible to determine whether the vehicle is in the high torque running state based on the magnitude of the accelerator opening.
[0015]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the high-torque running state determining means determines that the vehicle is in the high-torque running state when the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detecting means is equal to or lower than the set vehicle speed.
That is, in order to ensure the starting performance, the driving force distribution control device estimates that the vehicle is starting when the vehicle speed is in the low vehicle speed range, and increases the target torque to the torque distribution clutch in the low vehicle speed range to increase the front and rear wheels. Control is performed to set the driving force distribution to the four-wheel drive side.
Therefore, the vehicle speed information can be used as indirect information for determining the engagement torque of the torque distribution clutch, and it is possible to determine whether the vehicle is in the high torque running state based on the magnitude of the vehicle speed.
