この課題を解決するために本発明のスピーカ装置は、スピーカの前面に開口部を細長い矩形形状とした音波を導く音響管を結合し、このスピーカの後面に上記音響管のスピーカ結合面を超えて開口部の方向の途中まで延設された音響管の外周部より大きく形成された開口部を有するオーバーラップ部のこの開口部をテレビジョン受像機のテレビキャビネットおよびこのテレビジョン受像機のテレビキャビネットに内蔵された陰極線管に沿わせる有底状のカバーを装着したものである。

また、有底状のカバーの開口部をテレビキャビネット前面まで延長しない途中でテレビキャビネットおよびこのテレビジョン受像機のテレビキャビネットに内蔵された陰極線管に沿わせる構成としたことで、テレビジョン受像機の小型スリム化も可能とするものである。
