本発明は合成樹脂製フィルムで包装された商品に、該商品の単価、容量、値段等が印字されたラベルを貼り付けるラベル貼付装置に関し、詳しくはラベルを保持した押圧体の移動によってラベルを貼り付けるメカ式貼付装置の改良に関する。

【従来の技術】
ストレッチフィルム包装装置で包装された商品に、該商品に関する単価、容量、値段などの情報を印字したラベルを貼付する装置として、発行されたラベルを保持した押圧体の移動によって該ラベルを商品に押し付けて貼るメカ式ラベル貼付装置が存在するが、このメカ式ラベル貼付装置の場合は商品の高さが変わるとラベルを保持する押圧体の貼付位置(即ち移動位置)をその高さに合わせ、その高さ位置まで移動したら原点位置に戻るようにする必要がある。何故ならば、商品の高さが変わって高くなった場合は、ラベル保持部が商品に当たった時にラベル押圧体の移動(駆動)をストップしないと商品を潰してしまうからである。

そこで、商品の高さに合わせてラベル押圧体の貼付位置を変える方法として、▲1▼ 予め商品毎に貼付位置をプリセットしておき、商品番号でそのデータを呼び出して押圧体の駆動部を制御し、その高さまでしか移動させないようにする。
▲2▼ ラベル押圧体が商品に当たったことを検知するセンサーを押圧体の先端部に設け、そのセンサーの検知信号によって押圧体の駆動を逆転させる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記した▲1▼〜▲3▼の方法でラベル押圧体の貼付位置を制御して該押圧体を戻しているが、夫々下記のような欠点を有する。
▲1▼の方法は同じ商品番号のものは全て同じ高さであることが必要条件であるが、例えば野菜等形が一定しない商品では同じ商品番号でも高さが異なる場合があり、そのように場合は商品を潰したり或いはラベルを貼れないといった問題が生じる。又、プリセットする手間が掛かる。
▲2▼の方法では応答スピードに問題があると共に、センサーと該センサーに接続されるコードを移動させるため故障しやすく、且つモータを瞬時に逆転させるために高価な部品(例えばステッピングモータ)が必要となる。
▲3▼の方法では▲2▼と同様モータを瞬時に逆転させるために高価な部品が必要であり、又ロータリーエンコーダの信号の変化を見る為にタイムラグがある。

本発明は上述したような従来の技術が有する問題点に鑑みてなされたもので、その目的とするところは、ラベル押圧体の移動量をプリセットしたり、センサーを設けたりすることなく、商品による貼付位置が変わっても商品を潰したりすることなくラベルを確実に貼付することができるメカ式ラベル貼付装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成する為に本発明が講じた技術的手段は、ラベル押圧体が、印字発行されたラベルを受け取る第1位置とその受け取ったラベルを商品に押し付けて貼り付ける第2位置との間を移動するラベル貼付装置において、前記ラベル押圧体の移動方向に沿って移動する駆動体を設け、その駆動体とラベル押圧体との間に接離可能な連結手段を設けると共に、ラベル押圧体を第2位置から第1位置方向へ付勢する付勢手段を設け、前記連結手段は駆動体とラベル押圧体とが当接することで連結し、ラベル押圧体が商品を押圧してラベルを貼り付た際の反力で分離することを特徴とする。駆動体の駆動源としてはエアシリンダ、或いはその他の往復運動させることができるものであれば使用可能である。

上記の連結手段としては、マグネットとマグネットに対して吸着される磁性体とで構成し、その一方を駆動体に取り付け他方をラベル押圧体に取り付ける形態、或いは係脱する二部材の一方を駆動体に取り付け他方をラベル押圧体に取り付ける形態等が挙げられる。
又、上記連結手段の分離は、ラベル押圧体に該押圧体の移動方向に対して相対移動可能なラベル保持部を備え、且つ駆動体との連結が行われる当接部近傍には梃を設け、ラベル貼付時に前記ラベル保持部のラベル押圧体との相対移動力で梃を作動し、その梃で前記連結手段を分離させる構成とする。
更に、連結手段を分離させる機構は反力を利用した梃の機構に限定されず、例えば梃の代わりに油圧等で行う機構、或いは反力でスイッチをONさせそれによりソレノイドを作動させて連結部を切り離す機構、更に連結手段に電磁石を用いた場合は反力でその通電を止めて分離離間させる機構などでもよい。

【作用】
上記の手段によれば、ラベル押圧体は連結手段を介して駆動体と連結されることで移動の為の駆動力を得て第1位置から第2位置まで移動し、保持しているラベルを商品に押し付けて貼付する。そして、そのラベルを押し付ける力に対する反力でラベル押圧体と駆動体を連結している連結手段が分離され、それによってラベル押圧体の駆動力がなくなり、付勢手段の働きによって該ラベル押圧体は第1位置へ自動的に復帰される。そして切り離されたラベル押圧体の復帰動作とは別に駆動体は所定範囲までの移動を行って原点位置(第1位置)に戻り、復帰位置において駆動体とラベル押圧体とは再び連結手段で連結される。
従って、商品の高さに関係なく商品の表面にラベルを貼付することができる。又、上記の連結手段をマグネットと磁性体で構成した場合は、繰り返して接離でき、更に連結手段の分離はラベルを商品に押し付ける時に受ける反力を利用し、その反力を梃で増幅して上記の連結手段を確実に分離する。

以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づき説明すると、ラベル貼付装置Aは矩形状に形成したケース1内に、印字発行されたラベルを受け取る第1位置とその受け取ったラベルを商品に押し付けて貼り付ける第2位置との間を上下方向に移動するラベル押圧体2と、そのラベル押圧体2を移動させる駆動体3と、その駆動体3と前記ラベル押圧体2とを接離可能に連結する連結手段4と、更に印字発行されたラベルaをケース1の底面に設けられた保持部に吸着保持するためのファン5が設けられている。(図1,図2参照)

上記のラベル押圧体2は、ケース1内の天板1aと底板1bとに亘って平行に架設した固定した2本の案内杆6,6’に上下摺動可能に横架した支持体 201と、その支持体 201の幅方向の略中央部底面に連結して下方に突出させた連結枠 202と、その連結枠 202の下端に水平に固着した吊下げ板 203とで構成され、その吊下げ板 203に吊下げ杆 204を介してラベル保持部 205が揺動可能に吊下げ支持されており、そのラベル保持部 205はケース1の底板1bに開設した開口7を貫通する前記吊下げ杆 204を介してケース1外に配置されると共に、底板1bの開口7を閉鎖する如く設けられている。又、ラベル保持部 205はその下面にスポンジ等のクッション材 206が貼られて商品を押し付けた時に該商品を損傷させないようにしてあると共に、通孔 207を開設してケース1内と連通させ、それによってケース1内に生じる負圧により該通孔 207に吸引力が発生し、ラベルaを吸着保持し得るように構成されている。

又、上記のラベル押圧体2は案内杆6,6’に沿って上下方向に摺動自在であるが、該ラベル押圧体2を、ラベルを商品に押し付けて貼り付ける第2位置から印字発行されるラベルを受け取る第1位置の方向(下方から上方)へ付勢する付勢手段8が固定部材であるケース1とラベル押圧体2とに亘って取り付けられている。その付勢手段8は、コイルスプリング 801の一端をラベル押圧体2を構成する連結枠 202に連結固定したピン 802に掛着し、コイルスプリング 801の他端はケース1内の上部に回転自在に取り付けた滑車 803を介してケース1の下方に折り返し、ケース1の下部に固定したピン 804に掛け止めし、それによってラベル押圧体2は常時第1位置へ付勢され、ラベル保持部 205がケース1の底板1bの下面に当接されている。(図3参照)

尚、図中、24は印字ヘッド、25はディスペンサーである。

【発明の効果】
本発明のラベル貼付装置は請求項1に示した構成により、商品による貼付位置が上下方向に変わっても商品の表面にラベル押圧体が当接することで自動的駆動力の連結が切り離されるので、従来装置のようにセンサーを設けたり、商品番号ごとにストローク量をプリセットする必要がない。
しかも、駆動体を瞬時(ラベル貼付の完了と同時)に原点位置(第1位置)へ復帰させる必要がないので、駆動体には高度な制御を行う必要がない。更に、ラベル押圧体は付勢手段によりラベル貼付の完了後、駆動体とは同期せずに瞬時に原点位置に復帰してラベル保持が可能となり、ラベルの発行をあまり遅らせる必要がない。結局単純な往復運動を行うだけなので、駆動体の駆動源としては安価な駆動源でよく、様々な高さの異なる商品を損傷すること無く高速でラベルを貼付することができる。
