TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a two-phase hybrid type stepping motor, and more particularly to a two-phase hybrid type stepping motor having a structure capable of reducing cogging torque and improving a torque waveform.

[Prior art]
A conventional two-phase hybrid type stepping motor has eight

[0004]
When considering the equivalent circuit of the magnetic circuit of the hybrid type stepping motor shown in FIGS. 1A to 1C, if the equivalent circuit is represented by ignoring the magnetic resistance in the iron core for simplicity, it is as shown in FIG. In FIG. 2, F i Is the magnetomotive force of the i-th winding pole (where i is 1 to 8), P i Is the permeance on the N or S pole side of the i-th winding pole (where i is 1 to 4), F m And P m Is the magnetomotive force and internal permeance of the magnet. Since the permeances of the winding poles at the axially symmetric positions are equal to each other, the same symbols are used. As for the A-phase winding, the N1 and N5 poles are connected in series with the N3 and N7 poles in the forward direction, and the magnetomotive force for these is the same magnitude F. A And only the polarity changes. As a result, FIG. 2 shows four branches (P 1 And F A , P 2 And F B , P 3 And -F A , P 4 And -F B ), Two circuit groups (sub circuits) are arranged in parallel, and two of them are arranged in series. Therefore, it can be equivalently replaced with one sub circuit by circuit theory. This is shown in FIG.
[0005]
Since the torque τ is given by the angular differentiation of the magnetic energy in the equivalent circuit of FIG. 3, the general formula of the torque is as shown in
[0006]
(Equation 1)
[0007]
Where F 0 Is the magnetomotive force drop of the air gap including the excitation, N R Is the number of rotor teeth, 2S is the number of winding poles (S = 4 in the figure), θ e Is the electrical angle.
[0008]
Note that F 0 Is obtained from Norton's theorem as shown in

In addition, each permeance has a phase difference of 90 degrees, and is represented by a Fourier series of

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the two-phase hybrid type stepping motor as described above, when the rotor is rotated without energizing the winding, a torque is generated between the rotor and the stator, and this is called cogging torque.
[0016]
When a plurality of windings of the two-phase hybrid type stepping motor are sequentially energized and rotated, the torque generated in the rotor is a combined torque of the torque generated by energizing the windings and the cogging torque. There is a problem that the vibration and noise are large because the torque contains a large amount of pulsation.
[0017]
An object of the present invention is to provide a two-phase hub-lid type stepping motor having a structure capable of minimizing the above-mentioned cogging torque and reducing distortion of a torque waveform generated by energizing a winding.
[0018]
Further, in order to reduce the cogging torque of the two-phase hybrid stepping motor, a vernier method in which the pitch between the small teeth of the stator and the small teeth of the rotor has been studied has been studied. However, sufficient effects were not obtained. In the present invention, it is an object of the present invention to elucidate the theory of the vernier method and to obtain an effective vernier method having a higher degree of freedom.
[0019]
In order to solve the problem, first, the state of generation of cogging torque will be examined. Cogging torque τ c Is
[0020]
(Equation 6)
[0021]
(Equation 7)
[0022]
In order to remove the cogging torque from this, it is necessary to use P i It suffices if the sum of the respective orders becomes zero.
[0023]
When the harmonic components up to the fourth order of each Fourier series and their sum are obtained from i = 1 to 4, the results are as shown in Table 1.
[0024]
[Table 1]
[0025]
Here, the coefficient ρ i Are omitted since they are the same for each pole.
[0026]
According to Table 1, P is the cogging torque contribution in the 8-winding pole configuration. i Is zero in the third and lower orders. Usually, the higher the higher order component, the smaller the value, so the fourth order component remains as the largest influencing factor. This is why the fourth harmonic component appears in the cogging torque of the two-phase motor.
[0027]
In order to remove this torque, each magnetic pole permeance P i Is required to be zero in each winding pole.
[0028]
This is given by 4 Means zero. Next, this ρ 4 The method of eliminating by the arrangement of the small tooth provided in the winding pole is considered.
[0029]
FIG. 4 shows an example of the configuration of the small teeth of the winding pole. Permeance P of winding pole i Is the permeance P of the small teeth that make it up ik (I: winding pole number, k: small tooth number). Here, assuming that the number of small teeth of the winding pole is Q,
[0030]
(Equation 8)
[0031]
Therefore, here, the permeance is calculated for each of the small teeth, and the permeance of the winding pole is obtained from the sum thereof.
[0032]
The assumption magnetic path method is adopted for the calculation of permeance, and an example of the magnetic path of one small tooth portion is as shown in FIG. In FIG. 5, 2T is the small tooth pitch of the rotor (magnetic pole pair pitch), α and β are the ratio of the small tooth width of the stator and the rotor to the magnetic pole pair pitch, x is the rotational displacement, (1) and (2). Are the classifications of the magnetic path type. If these magnetic paths are handled in detail, it will be quite complicated. Considering the extremely small gap size, here, for simplicity, only the permeance of the opposing flat surface part (1) will be described, and the others will be omitted. I do.
[0033]
Permeance P between planes 11 Is calculated by
[0034]
(Equation 9)
[0035]
Where μ 0 Is the vacuum permeability, w is the facing width, t is the thickness of the iron core, l g Is the gap length. P 11 Is determined by the facing width w, and when considered with reference to FIG. 5, the shape is as shown in FIG. In FIG. 6, the horizontal axis is the electrical angle, the point where the central axes of the small teeth of both the stator and the rotor coincide is 0, and π corresponds to T.
[0036]
Table 2 shows γ, δ, A, and B in FIG. 6 arranged according to the relationship shown in FIG.
[0037]
Note that min (α, β) is a function that takes the smaller one of α and β.
[0038]
[Table 2]
[0039]
Normally, (α + β) ≦ 1. 11 Can be Fourier-expanded into the form of
[0040]
(Equation 10)
[0041]
(Equation 11)
[0042]
(Equation 12)
[0043]
From these relations, each order component of permeance is the gap length l g It can be seen that the value is determined by the tooth width ratios α and β in addition to the stack thickness t and the rotor tooth pitch 2T.
[0044]
Therefore, if the fourth harmonic component of the permeance can be made zero as shown in Expression 13 by combining the permeances of the small teeth, the cogging torque is minimized.
[0045]
(Equation 13)
[0046]
In Equation 13, P ik4 Is the fourth harmonic component of the permeance of the k-th small tooth, and can be generally represented by the vector form of Expression 14 (hereinafter referred to as a permeance vector).
[0047]
[Equation 14]
[0048]
Where P 10n Is the amplitude of the nth harmonic component of the permeance of the small teeth, θ k Is the position (electrical angle) of the k-th small tooth. θ k Is the angle (reference angle) θ when the poles are arranged at the pitch. k0 Deviation from δθ k And can be expressed in the form of Equation 15.

[0054]
In order to study the arrangement of the small teeth, first, one winding shown in FIG. 4 for a hybrid stepping motor having 50 rotor teeth and 8 stator winding poles shown in FIG. Consider an example in which the pole teeth are arranged in a uniform pitch vernier arrangement. In the uniform pitch vernier arrangement, the small teeth of the stator are equally spaced at 6.9 degrees, which is smaller than the rotor tooth pitch angle of 7.2 degrees. The fourth harmonic component of the permeance vector of the small teeth is distributed as shown in FIG.
[0055]
In FIG. 7, the vector P is used to simplify the display. ikn To V k Will be represented by The value in parentheses in the figure is δθ k Shows the deviation angle (mechanical angle) corresponding to.
[0056]
Each harmonic component vector V of each small tooth k Are distributed by dividing the electrical angle of 360 degrees into six equal parts, so that the total sum becomes zero. Since each vector rotates while maintaining this relationship, the balance is always established during rotation, and the cogging torque is minimized. This is the principle of reducing the cogging torque by the conventional equal pitch arrangement vernier method.
[0057]
Looking closely at the vector arrangement in FIG. 7, it can be considered that “there are three pairs of vectors that are balanced at the axisymmetric position” or “there are two pairs of three vectors that are balanced at 120 ° intervals”. That is, in order to satisfy Expression 13, if all the vectors are partially balanced, it is not always necessary that all of the vectors are equally spaced.
[0058]
This is the basic idea of the unequal pitch arrangement method. When the number of small teeth is six, two types shown in FIGS. 8A and 8B can be considered. In FIG. 8A, V 1 And V 4 , V 2 And V 5 , V 3 And V 6 Are balanced at the axially symmetric position, and in FIG. 1 , V 3 , V 5 And V 2 , V 4 , V 6 Are balanced at equal intervals of 120 degrees.
[0059]
In particular, in the case of FIG. 8A, since two pieces are paired, the width of the small teeth can be changed within the pair as shown in the figure.
[0060]
As described above, since the irregular pitch arrangement method has more flexibility than the equal pitch arrangement method, there is an advantage that consideration other than the cogging torque can be taken.
[0061]
Next, consider the torque generated by the current flowing through the winding.
[0062]
In FIG. 3, the A-phase winding is F 1 And F 3 Are connected in series with opposite polarities, so that P 1 And P 3 Is the flux linkage of the winding. The same applies to the B phase.
[0063]
Accordingly, looking at the relationship between the respective harmonic components from Table 1, it can be seen that the even-order harmonics of each phase are canceled out, but the odd-order harmonics are added. The first harmonic generates an induced voltage corresponding to the main torque of the sine wave, but the third harmonic becomes a distortion and needs to be removed.
[0064]
Here, a method of minimizing the third harmonic that affects the waveform distortion of the torque while minimizing the cogging torque by balancing the fourth harmonic will be considered.
[0065]
When there are six small teeth, there is a method of balancing within two vectors as shown in FIG. 8A and a method of balancing within three vectors as shown in FIG. 8B. In the third harmonic plane, it is necessary to balance the balance in each of the three vectors and the balance in each of the two vectors, respectively.
[0066]
For simplicity, it is assumed in FIG. 8A that the small tooth width and therefore the vector length are equal, and considering that 180 degrees of the fourth harmonic plane corresponds to 135 degrees of the third plane, FIGS. 9A and 9B show. Such a vector becomes one solution.
[0067]
As shown in FIG. 9A, in the third harmonic plane, V 1 , V 2 , V 4 And V 3 , V 5 , V 6 In each of the three vectors, as shown in FIG. 1 And V 3 , V 2 And V 5 , V 4 And V 6 The vectors are balanced among the three pairs.
[0068]
FIGS. 10A and 10B show a system in which the balance in each of the two vectors is compatible with the third harmonic plane and the balance in each of the three vectors is compatible with the fourth harmonic plane. As shown in FIG. 10A, in the third harmonic plane, V 1 And V 3 , V 2 And V 5 , V 4 And V 6 Of the three pairs, V in the fourth harmonic plane as shown in FIG. 10B. 1 , V 2 , V 4 And V 3 , V 5 , V 6 Are balanced.
[0069]

[0072]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0073]
In the first embodiment of the present invention, a two-phase hybrid type stepping motor has a plurality of
[0074]
In the first embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 9A, the vector of the third harmonic plane is V 1 , V 2 , V 4 Are arranged at equal intervals of 120 degrees and are balanced. 3 , V 5 , V 6 Are arranged at equal intervals of 120 degrees and are balanced, and all the vectors are balanced.
[0075]
FIG. 11 shows the arrangement of the small teeth that achieves this balance relationship.
[0076]
In the vector diagram of FIG. 9A, the vertex V of each vector 1 , V 2 , V 3 , V 4 , V 5 , V 6 Is the small tooth t 1 , T 2 , T 3 , T 4 , T 5 , T 6 , And the numbers in parentheses described on the side indicate the deviation angle δθ (mechanical angle) from the reference position.
[0077]
Therefore, when the position of each small tooth is calculated from the value of this deviation angle, it becomes as shown in FIG.
[0078]
In the arrangement of the small teeth shown in FIG. 1 And t 2 Is 6.4 degrees, t 2 And t 3 Between 7.1 degrees, t 3 And t 4 6.5 degrees between t 4 And t 5 Between 7.1 degrees, t 5 And t 6 Is 6.4 degrees.
[0079]
Also, as shown in FIG. 9B, the vector of the fourth harmonic plane is V 1 And V 3 Is V 2 And V 5 Is V 4 And V 6 Are symmetrically positioned and balanced, and are balanced as a whole.
[0080]
9A and the vector of FIG. 9B are verified, and the fourth harmonic plane vector of FIG. 1 And V 3 Becomes a symmetrical position, that is, a position at 180 degrees, in the third harmonic plane vector of FIG. 9A. 1 And V 3 Must be 135 degrees.
[0081]
In addition, other V 2 And V 5 , V 4 And V 6 Are the same, the third harmonic plane vector in FIG. 9A is 135 degrees.
[0082]
Therefore, in the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 9A and 9B, since the vectors of the fourth harmonic and the third harmonic can be balanced, the cogging torque can be reduced and the torque waveform can be improved.
[0083]
In the second embodiment of the present invention, a two-phase hybrid type stepping motor has a plurality of
[0084]
FIG. 12 shows the arrangement of the small teeth provided at the tip of the winding pole according to the second embodiment of the present invention, and corresponds to the vector diagram shown in FIGS. 10A and 10B.
[0085]
The arrangement of the illustrated small teeth is t 1 And t 2 And t 3 Between and t 4 And t 5 And t 6 Between 6.6 degrees, t 3 And t 4 Is 7.2 degrees, which is the same as the rotor tooth pitch. Therefore t 3 And t 4 Are arranged symmetrically with respect to the
[0086]
Further, while the balance of the third harmonic plane vector is shown by the vector shown in FIG. 10A, the fourth harmonic plane vector shown in FIG. 1 , V 2 , V 4 And V 3 , V 5 , V 6 Are balanced.
[0087]
That is, in FIG. 10A, V is the third harmonic plane vector. 1 And V 2 And V 4 10B is the fourth harmonic plane vector, whereas the angle between the vectors is 90 × 4/3 = 120 degrees, and the angle between the vectors is 90 × 4/3 = 120 degrees, as shown in FIG. 10A. V in the third harmonic plane vector 1 And V 2 And V 4 Are equally spaced at 120 degrees, and are balanced.
[0088]
That is, by arranging the six small teeth as shown in FIG. 12, the third harmonic vector is changed to V as shown in FIG. 10A. 1 And V 3 , V 2 And V 5 , V 4 And V 6 Are arranged so as to be at 180 ° positions and are balanced so that the third harmonic can be reduced from the torque waveform, and as shown in FIG. 1 , V 2 , V 4 And V 3 , V 5 , V 6 Can be balanced at 120 degree intervals to reduce the cogging torque.
[0089]
In the third embodiment of the present invention, a two-phase hybrid type stepping motor has a plurality of
[0090]
It has been found that the cogging torque can be reduced and the torque waveform can be improved by arranging the small teeth as described above, but the effect will be verified by a two-dimensional FEM simulation.
[0091]
Since it is difficult to make prototypes of the various tooth arrangement methods described above on a real machine, it is verified by simulation. However, a three-dimensional magnetic field analysis is originally desirable. Approximate analysis was performed using the finite element method. This is a method in which a portion corresponding to N1 in the equivalent circuit of FIG. 2 is cut out, a magnetic field analysis is performed by a two-dimensional FEM, and a cogging torque and a linkage magnetic flux are obtained from the result.
[0092]
The following is a summary of this calculation method.
[0093]
(1) The model in FIG. 13 from which the N1 part in FIG. 2 is extracted is set as a calculation target.
[0094]
(2) Cogging torque τ of N1 part by magnetic field analysis with two-dimensional FEM c1 (Θ) and linkage flux φ 1 (Θ) is calculated.
[0095]
(3) cogging torque τ according to equation 18 c1 (Θ) is determined.
[0096]
(Equation 18)
[0097]
(4) The A-phase linkage flux Ф A (Θ) is determined.
[0098]
[Equation 19]
[0099]
In FIG. 11, a periodic model is used in which the polarity is reversed in the circumferential direction for the sake of calculation. Therefore, unlike the case where all the N poles in FIG. 1A are the same pole, the calculation takes a form in which one of the different pole arrangement is taken out, but it is considered that there is no large error because the gap is extremely small. Since the winding current imitated the magnetomotive force applied to the air gap by the permanent magnet, a constant current value such that the air gap magnetic flux density became 1.6 T, which is close to the actual value, was used.
[0100]
The cogging torque was calculated by the Maxwell stress method while rotating the rotor to one tooth pitch (7.2 degrees). For the Maxwell stress, a triangular mesh equally divided into three layers in the radial direction at the center of the gap and 0.15 degrees in the circumferential direction was used.
[0101]
The Maxwell stress was calculated using the average value of the magnetic flux densities of the triangular elements adjacent in the radial direction at the center of the gap.
[0102]
FIG. 14 shows a calculation example of the cogging torque in the equal pitch arrangement method.
[0103]
In FIG. 14, τ c1 , Τ c2 , Τ c3 , Τ c4 Are the respective torques within the Σ of equation (18). From this, it can be seen that most of the torques of the respective poles cancel each other, and the remainder forms the cogging torque.
[0104]
FIG. 15 shows the calculated values of the cogging torque waveform in the arrangement of small teeth studied in the above equation 13 and after, in comparison with the case without vernier. Each of the arrangements is significantly reduced compared to the case without the vernier. In an actual motor, since various dimensional errors all lead to an increase in cogging torque, it is considered that such a difference is buried in the variation and a large difference disappears.
[0105]
Since the torque due to the current is generated by the product of the back electromotive force of the phase winding and the current, here, the evaluation is made based on the harmonic distortion of the linkage magnetic flux that is the basis of the back electromotive force. FIG. 16 shows a calculation example of the linkage flux in the uniform pitch arrangement method. In FIG. 1 , Φ 3 Is the magnetic flux in the parentheses of Equation 19. Φ 1 , Φ 3 It can be seen from FIG. 3 that the DC magnetic flux is large, and about 2/3 of the magnet magnetic flux cancels each other out and is wasted. This indicates that the leakage magnetic flux is large due to the structure of the hybrid type stepping motor.
[0106]
The A-phase magnetic flux waveform in FIG. 16 was decomposed into a Fourier series, and harmonic distortion was calculated from coefficients up to the 15th harmonic. Based on these results, FIG. 17 shows the relationship between the fundamental wave and the harmonic distortion of the linkage magnetic flux for each arrangement method.
[0107]
FIG. 17 shows the results of the cogging torque shown in FIG. 15 in an organized manner.
[0108]
As shown in FIG. 17, the magnetic flux waveform distortion rate is about 5% in the vernier-less method, whereas it is about 2.5% in the fourth harmonic canceling method (2), (3), and (4). In the second and the second harmonic simultaneous cancellation methods (5) and (6), the ratio is improved to about 2%. On the other hand, the magnitudes of the magnetic flux fundamental waves are reduced by about 7% and about 19%, respectively. Although the effect of improving the linkage magnetic flux waveform by canceling the third harmonic is recognized, it is not so large.
[0109]
【The invention's effect】
Since the hybrid type stepping motor according to the present invention has the above-described configuration, the arrangement of the small teeth provided at the ends of the winding poles is changed according to a certain theory, thereby reducing the cogging torque and simultaneously improving the torque waveform. There is an effect that can be done.
