(構成) 本発明の請求項1にかかる乗用型芝刈機は、モーアを、走行機体の前方位置に配備するとともに、前車輪に対するデフ装置及び作業装置用クラッチを一緒に内装した伝動ケースを前記走行機体の前部に配設し、前記作業装置用クラッチを介して前記伝動ケースより前方に突出させた作業装置駆動用の出力軸と前記モーアとを、伝動軸及び自在継手を介して連動連結した乗用型芝刈機において、前記デフ装置の横側に変位させて前記作業 装置用クラッチを配設するとともに、この作業装置用クラッチより前方に延出させた前記出力軸を伝動ケース内において前記デフ装置の横上方位置で、且つ側面視でデフ装置の上部と重複する高さ位置に配設し、前記伝動ケースの前端部よりも後退する凹部を前記伝動ケースの前面部に前記デフ装置の横側に偏位させて形成するとともに、前記出力軸を、前記凹部から突出してあることを特徴構成とする。

以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。

そして、図3に示すように、走行機体3の後部に搭載したエンジン4からの動力がメインシャフト9を介して機体前側に配置されている静油圧式無段変速装置(以下HSTと称する)10に入力されるとともに、このHST10と一体に連結した伝動ケース6を走行機体3に連結固定している。この伝動ケース6には、図3乃至図5に示すように、搭乗運転部5に設けた変速ペダル11で変速操作されるHST10の油圧モータMからの変速動力が第1入力軸12を介して入力され、その入力動力は、ギア伝動機構13を介して前車輪用のデフ装置14に伝動される。また、その入力動力に対する制動装置15を伝動ケース6の下部後部に配置している。さらに、HST10の油圧ポンプPからの動力が第2入力軸16に伝達され、この第2入力軸16より第2ギア伝動機構17及び作業装置用クラッチ18を介して作業装置駆動用の出力軸19に伝達されるように構成している。尚、図5に示すように、第2入力軸16からの動力によって、モーア8の昇降等に供される油圧ポンプ20が駆動されるようにしている。

さらに、図2に示すように、左右一対の前車輪1,1間の中央箇所に位置する前記デフ装置14よりも、右横側に偏位した状態でモーア8を配置している。すなわち、モーア8における左右幅方向での中央位置に配置されている入力軸23がデフ装置14位置よりも左右方向で右側に幾分偏位した状態でモーア8を配置している。これにより、デフ装置14の右脇箇所に位置する出力軸19と、伝動軸26と、入力軸23とが平面視でも互いの相対的な角度を小さくできるので、自在継手24,25での磨耗が一層抑圧され、かつ、その自在継手24,25での伝動騒音の発生も一層抑圧される。
