本発明は、接点線材からカットした接点片を接点板の取付孔にかしめ固定する接点かしめ装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の接点かしめ装置として図6及び図7に示す構成のものがある。このものは、同一水平線上を可動する一対のカッターC,C のそれぞれが、上方から平行に下降して来る2本の接点線材A,A の先端部からそれぞれ所定長さの接点片A1をカットするとともに、その接点片A1を接点板B の取付孔B1の位置までそれぞれ移送する。そうすると、下降して来たかしめパンチD が、かしめピンE により受けた状態で各接点片A1に対して加圧変形を加えることによって、2個の接点片A1,A1 のそれぞれが接点板B の2個の取付孔B1,B1 に同時にかしめ固定されるようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来の接点かしめ装置にあっては、2個の接点片A1,A1 のそれぞれを接点板B の2個の取付孔B1,B1 に同時にかしめ固定するのに、2本の接点線材A,A を使用しているので、所定長さの接点片A1をカッターC によりカットし得るようその各接点線材A を動作させるための部材が2台づつ必要であり、その部材を装置にセットするための作業も2回行わねばならない。

本発明は、上記事由に鑑みてなしたもので、その目的とするところは、2個の接点片のそれぞれを接点板の2個の取付孔に同時にかしめ固定するのに、1本の接点線材を使用するだけで行える接点かしめ装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記した課題を解決するために、請求項1記載のものは、水平方向へ可動して一本の接点線材から2個の接点片をカットした後にその各接点片をそれぞれ所定位置に移送するよう上下にそれぞれ配置された一対のカッターと、上下の同方向へ可動して前記2個の接点片を接点板の取付孔にそれぞれかしめ固定する一対のかしめパンチと、を備えた構成にしてある。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の第1実施形態を図1乃至図3に基づいて以下に説明する。まず、本実施形態において使用される接点線材A は、銀材料からなる線材であり、また接点板B は、その接点線材A の先端部からそれぞれ所定長さにカットされた2個の接点片A1,A1 をかしめ固定される2個の取付孔B1,B1 を長手方向に所定ピッチで連続して設けたフープ状の導電材料であり、それぞれリール(図示せず)に巻かれて供給される。

1,1 は一対のカッターで、平板で長尺状に形成され、その各先端側には接点線材A と略同径のカッター孔1aを設け、後端側には後述するかしめパンチ2 の挿通し得る貫通孔1bを設けてある。そして、この一対のカッター1,1 は、ストリッパプレート11及びカッター受け12にガイドされて互いに上下に重合して配置された状態でそれぞれ反対の水平方向へ可動するよう、後端側がカッターカム13,13 にそれぞれ係合されている。

上記したストリッパプレート11は、銀製の接点線材A をガイドして送る銀線ユニット14を中央部にて位置決めし、その中央部の両側には後述する一対のかしめパンチ2,2 のガイド孔11a,11a が設けられており、またそのガイド孔11a,11a と同ピッチで一対のかしめパンチ2,2 の挿通する貫通孔12a,12a がカッター受け12に設けられている。

2,2 は一対のかしめパンチで、接点線材A と略同径の先端部を有してピン状に形成され、上下方向のストロークを決める上側バッキングプレート17を介して上側ダイセット15に固定されたパンチプレート16により銀線ガイド棒18の両側にて接点板B の2個の取付孔B1,B1 と同間隔の距離を有して保持されている。

上記した上側ダイセット15には、カッターカム13,13 に嵌合して一対のカッター1,1 を水平方向へ可動させる一対の駆動用カム19,19 が設けられ、この駆動用カム19,19 がカッターカム13,13 に嵌合していないときは、一対のカッター1,1 はカッターカム13,13 に係合した復帰ばね13a,13a により復帰させられ、そのとき両カッター孔1a,1a は、図2(a) に示すように、接点線材A の先端部を挿通し得るよう連通した状態になっている。

3,3 は一対のかしめピンで、接点線材A と略同径の先端部を有してピン状に形成され、一対のかしめパンチ2,2 と同様にして、接点板B の2個の取付孔B1,B1 と同間隔の距離を有して型部19に装着されている。

上記した型部19は、下側バッキングプレート23を介して下側ダイセット21に固定されたダイプレート22により位置決めされている。そして、この型部19とカッター受け12との間に、フープ状の接点板B が長手方向へ移送可能なよう配置される。

次に、動作を説明する。図2(a) では、上述したように、接点線材A の先端部が復帰して状態にある一対のカッター1,1 の連通した両カッター孔1a,1a に挿通しており、この状態において、上側ダイセット15が下降して一対の駆動用カム19,19 が一対のカッターカム13,13 に嵌合すると、一対のカッター1,1 は復帰ばね13a,13a のばね力に抗しながら、同図(b) に示すように、互いの重合部分を多くする方向つまり中央方向へ可動することによって、接点線材A の先端部は挿通していた両カッター孔1a,1a により2個の接点片A1,A1 をカットする。

このとき、下側接点片A1をカットする一方のカッター1 が、図3(a) に示すように、一部切り残される状態まで上側接点片A1をカットする他方のカッター1 よりも先に可動し、その後、同図(b) に示すように、上下の両接点片A1,A1 をカットするのが望ましく、こうすることによって、いわゆる二次剪断の現象がなくなって、剪断による粉の発生が少なくなる。

次いで、図2(c) に示すように、一対のカッター1,1 の両カッター孔1a,1a によりカットされた2個の接点片A1,A1 が、その一対のカッター1,1 によりカッター受け12に設けた貫通孔12a,12a の所定位置に移送されて来ると、一対のかしめパンチ2,2 が、ストリッパプレート11のガイド孔11a,11a にガイドされて下降する。そうすると、一方のカッター1 によりカットされた下側接点片A1は、他方のカッター1 に設けた貫通孔12a を挿通して下降して来た一方のかしめパンチ2 によりカッター受け12の貫通孔12a 内へ押し込まれ、また他方のカッター1 によりカットされた上側接点片A1は、他方のかしめパンチ2 と共に一方のカッター1 に設けた貫通孔12a を挿通してカッター受け12の貫通孔12a 内へ押し込まれる。

次いで、図2(d) に示すように、2個の接点片A1,A1 のそれぞれは、一対のかしめピン3,3 で受けた状態で一対のかしめパンチ2,2 により加圧変形を加えられることによって、接点板B の2個の取付孔B1,B1 に同時にかしめ固定される。

その後、上側ダイセット15が上昇すると、上記とは逆に動作することによって、元の図2(a) の状態に復帰するとともに、接点板B は取付孔B1の1ピッチ分だけ長手方向へ移送されて、上記と同様の次の動作に備える。

かかる接点かしめ装置にあっては、上述したように、2個の接点片A1,A1 のそれぞれを接点板B の2個の取付孔B1,B1 に同時にかしめ固定するのに、上下にそれぞれ配置された一対のカッター1,1 が、水平方向へ可動することによって、その2個の接点片A1,A1 を一本の接点線材A からカットした後、上下の同方向へ可動してその各接点片A1を一対のかしめパンチ2,2 がかしめ固定する所定位置にそれぞれ移送することができる。

また、一対のカッター1,1 は、一方のカッター1 により所定位置に移送された接点片A1をかしめ固定するかしめパンチ2 の挿通し得る貫通孔1bを他方のカッター1 に設けることによって、互いの重合部分を多くする水平方向へ可動して各接点片A1を移送するようになっているので、水平方向のスペースを小さくできるとともに、移送途中の接点片A1は重合する他方のカッター1 にガイドされてスムーズに所定位置まで移送される。

次に、本発明で参考となる参考例を図4に基づいて以下に説明する。なお、第1実施形態と実質的に同じ機能を有する部材には同じ符号を付して相違するところを述べる。

すなわち、第1実施形態の一対のカッター1,1は、互いの重合部分を多くする方向つまり中央部へ向かう方向へ可動して各接点片A1を移送するようになっているが、本参考例の一対のカッター1,1は、図4(a)に示すように接点片A1をカットした後、互いに中央部から離れる反対方向へ可動して各接点片A1を移送し、同図(b)に示すように、一対のかしめパンチ2,2によりかしめ固定される。従って、第1実施形態と違って、一方のカッター1により所定位置に移送された接点片A1をかしめ固定するかしめパンチ2の挿通し得る貫通孔1bを他方のカッター1に設けていない。

かかる接点かしめ装置にあっては、第1実施形態と同様にして、2個の接点片A1,A1 のそれぞれを接点板B の2個の取付孔B1,B1 に同時にかしめ固定するのに、一本の接点線材A を使用するだけで行うことができ、かつ水平方向のスペースも小さくできるとともに、かしめパンチ2 の挿通し得る貫通孔1bをカッター1 に設ける必要がない。ただし、一対のカッター1,1 は、互いに中央部から離れる方向へ可動して各接点片A1を移送するから、互いが重合しなくなった位置から所定位置に移送されまでの間において各接点片A1の上又は下側をガイドするものがなくなるために、各接点片A1が一対のカッター1 のカッター孔1aからはみ出ないようタイミングを設定する必要がある。

次に、本発明で参考となる別の参考例を図5に基づいて以下に説明する。なお、第1実施形態と実質的に同じ機能を有する部材には同じ符号を付して相違するところを述べる。

かかる接点かしめ装置にあっては、第1実施形態と同様にして、2個の接点片A1,A1 のそれぞれを接点板B の2個の取付孔B1,B1 に同時にかしめ固定するのに、一本の接点線材A を使用するだけで行うことができる。ただし、一対のカッター1,1 は、互いに同方向へ可動して各接点片A1を移送するためにその可動ストロークが大きくなり、従って、水平方向のスペースに余裕がある場合に適用することになる。

【発明の効果】
請求項1記載のものは、上述したように、2個の接点片のそれぞれを接点板の2個の取付孔に同時にかしめ固定するのに、上下にそれぞれ配置された一対のカッターが、水平方向へ可動することによって、一本の接点線材を使用するだけで行うことができる。

しかも、一対のカッターは、互いに反対の水平方向へ可動可動して各接点片を移送するから、水平方向のスペースを小さくできる。
