【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、院内で使用される歯科
用治療装置,滅菌器および酸性水噴霧器へ装着されるカ
−トリッジ式酸性水貯蔵タンクを装備した酸性水製造装
置に関する。

【従来の技術】従来、院内で使用される歯科用治療装
置,滅菌器および酸性水噴霧器等は水道水を直に引いて
使用するか、あるいは歯科用治療装置,滅菌器および酸
性水噴霧器等と水道水との間にフィルタ−を設け、この
フィルタ−を通して水中の微生物や金属等を濾過し、汚
染物質の侵入を防止しつつ使用していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかるに、前記従来技
術においては以下のような欠点がある。すなわち、歯科
用治療装置の治療器具によっては、治療終了後に注水し
ていた水の垂れ防止機構が設けられており、ホ−スを通
して治療装置側へ水が引かれる作用に伴い、患者の口腔
内にある病原体や細菌等が吸引され、治療装置内を汚染
する危険があった。
【0004】また、歯科用治療装置と水道水との間にフ
ィルタ−を設けて水道水を通したとしても、フィルタ−
内で繁殖した菌が治療器具から患者の口腔内へ流れ出る
可能性がある。
【0005】請求項1の目的は、使用される水を菌が繁
殖しにくく且つ滅菌効果のあるpH3以下の酸性水ある
いは強酸性水に変えることにより、歯科用治療装置,滅
菌器および酸性水噴霧器等における水回路の総括的な滅
菌を行うとともに、臨床途中の感染および院内感染を防
止する。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、水中の水素イ
オンと水酸基イオンとを電気的に移動させることによ
り、pH3以下の酸性水あるいは強酸性水を製造する装
置において、製造されたpH3以下の酸性水あるいは強
酸性水を貯蔵する貯蔵タンクを着脱自在なカ−トリッジ
式に構成するとともに、該カ−トリッジ式の貯蔵タンク
を歯科用治療装置,滅菌器および酸性水噴霧器へ装着可
能に構成したことを特徴とする酸性水製造装置である。

【作用】本発明では、まず歯科用治療装置,滅菌器およ
び酸性水噴霧器等へ供給される水道水を酸性水製造装置
に取り込んでpH3以下の酸性水あるいは強酸性水を製
造する。この製造された酸性水を着脱自在なカ−トリッ
ジ式の貯蔵タンクに蓄え、該貯蔵タンクを歯科用治療装
置,滅菌器および酸性水噴霧器等に装着して酸性水を使
用することにより、各装置内の水回路における細菌等の
繁殖を抑制するとともに、総括的な滅菌を行う。

【実施例】図1は本実施例を示す概略構成図である。1
は酸性水製造装置で、この酸性水製造装置1内には水源
である水道2に接続された酸性水発生器3が内設されて
いる。さらに、酸性水製造装置1内には酸性水発生器3
に接続されたカ−トリッジ式の着脱自在な貯蔵タンク4
が内設されている。この貯蔵タンク4は歯科用治療装置
5,滅菌器6および酸性水噴霧器7等へ装着可能に構成
されている。
【0009】以上の構成から成る酸性水製造装置1は、
まず水道2からの水が酸性水発生器3に供給される。酸
性水発生器3では電気的に+イオンと−イオンとを移動
し、pH3以下の酸性水あるいは強酸性水が製造され
る。製造された酸性水は着脱自在なカ−トリッジ式の貯
蔵タンク4に蓄えられる。この貯蔵タンク4は院内で使
用される歯科用治療装置5,滅菌器6および酸性水噴霧
器7等に酸性水カ−トリッジとして装着され、使用され
る。
【0010】本実施例によれば、酸性水を使用すること
で各装置内の水回路における細菌等の繁殖を抑制すると
ともに、総括的な滅菌を行うことができる。

【発明の効果】請求項1の効果は、院内の歯科用治療装
置,滅菌器および酸性水噴霧器等に供給される水道水
を、水中の水素イオンと水酸基イオンとを電気的に移動
させることによりpH3以下の酸性水あるいは強酸性水
を製造し、製造された酸性水を着脱自在なカ−トリッジ
式の貯蔵タンクに蓄え、貯蔵タンクを歯科用治療装置,
滅菌器および酸性水噴霧器等の水回路を要する装置に装
着することによって各装置で酸性水の使用が可能とな
る。これにより、各装置内の水回路における細菌等の繁
殖を抑制するとともに、総括的な滅菌を行うことができ
る。

際、新たな貯蔵タンクに製造された酸性水が蓄えられて
常時貯蔵されているため、他の歯科用治療装置,滅菌器
および酸性水噴霧器等で酸性水を使用することができ
る。さらに、多量の酸性水を必要とする場合でも対応す
