部材は、その用途上、耐久性が必要となるため、金属製
のものが一般的である。又ガイド部材の支持は、ハウジ
ングの内面に対向して支持部を突設し、この支持部にガ
イド部材の両端部を挿入して固定する形態となってい
る。 【0003】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】上記ガイド部材と支持
部との間には、成形誤差により隙間が生じやすく、その
ためスライド部材の往復動に伴い、ガイド部材と支持部
とが衝突して騒音や振動を発生させる。又ガイド部材と
の衝突により支持部側に変形や損傷を生じさせる虞れも
ある。更に隙間によるがたつきでガイド部材が一定の位
置に固定されないため、スライド部材にこじれが生じて
往復動に支障が生じることもある。 【0004】そこで本発明は、上記ガイド部材と支持部
間のがたつきを効果的に吸収して、騒音や振動の発生は
勿論、支持部の変形やガイド機能の低下も解消できる
グソーを提供することを目的としたものである。 【0005】 【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に、請求項1に記載の発明は、左右一対の半割のハウジ
ングを組み付けて形成される本体内に、軸方向への往復
動可能なスライド部材と、そのスライド部材の往復動を
ガイドするガイド部材と、前記ガイド部材を支持する支
持部とを備えたジグソーであって、前記支持部を、前記
左右のハウジングの上下で夫々対向して形成された二組
の挿入孔とし、その挿入孔に横長で端部が球状に形成さ
れたガイド部材の両端を夫々遊挿して、前記スライド部
材を上下一対の前記ガイド部材へ直交状に貫通させる一
方、前記各挿入孔の底に、前記ガイド部材の短手方向の
断面外形よりやや大きい断面円形のOリングを挿入し、
そのOリングを介して前記ガイド部材を保持させたこと
を特徴とするものである。 【0006】 【発明の実施の形態】以下本発明の実施の形態を図面に
基づいて説明する。図1はジグソー1の部分説明図で、
一対の半割のハウジング2,3を組み付けて形成される
本体4内には、モータ5が水平に配置され、そのモータ
軸6は、ベアリングケース7内のボールベアリング8に
軸支されて前方(図の右側)へ突出している。又ベアリ
ングケース7には、モータ軸6の上方で、且つモータ軸
6と平行なピン9が挿着され、そのピン9にギヤ10が
遊嵌されて、モータ軸6と噛合している。更にギヤ10
の前面でピン9からの偏心位置には、ピン11を介して
鍔付スリーブ12が回動自在に連結されており、この鍔
付スリーブ12が、図2にも示す如く、その前面に配置
され、図示しないブレードを装着可能なスライダ13の
水平方向の長孔14を遊貫している。この長孔14は、
ピン9を中心に円運動する鍔付スリーブ12の左右の移
動範囲を許容する長さとなっている。 【0007】そしてスライダ13は、左右のハウジング
2,3に把持される上下一対のスライダガイド15,1

付スリーブ12が長孔14に遊貫するスライダ13は、
鍔付スリーブ12の左右への移動量は長孔14の左右の
長さで吸収されるため、図2において実線と二点鎖線で
示すように、上下への移動量のみに合わせて往復動する
ことになる。そしてスライダガイド15,15は、スラ
イダ13の往復動を上下でガイドするが、左右のハウジ
ング2,3の各挿入孔16,17にセットされたOリン
グ18によって、上下左右及び長手方向のがたつきを吸
収され、その移動を規制されているから、スライダガイ
ド15,15が各挿入孔16,17の壁に衝突して騒音
や振動を発生させたり、挿入孔16,17に変形や破損
を生じさせたりするようなことがない。又スライダガイ
ド15,15が適正な位置に固定されるから、長手方向
にずれを起こしてスライダ13にこじれを生じさせるこ
とがなく、ガイド機能にも影響を与えない。特にここで
は、左右のハウジング2,3を組み付ける前に、予め夫
々のハウジング2,3の挿入孔16,17に夫々Oリン
グ18をセットしておけば良いから、Oリング18があ
ってもスライダガイド15,15やスライダ13等の組
付けに特別な手間を要することがなく、簡単に組付け作
