処理センターに運搬される。即ち、搬送中や保管中に廃
棄物が腐敗するのを防止するためである。 【0003】従来はこのような放射性有機物を含有する
腐敗性廃棄物を的確に乾燥処理する装置として適当なも
のがなく、例えば、通常の解放型の乾燥装置では乾燥処
理に伴う放射性有機物の漏洩や悪臭の発生を防止するこ
とができず、また、乾燥処理温度が低い場合には乾燥時
間が長くなりしかも均一に乾燥せず、乾燥処理温度が高
い場合には部分的に炭化してしまう等の不都合があっ
た。 【0004】一方、通常の真空ポンプ使用による減圧乾
燥処理装置では、真空オイル中に放射性有機物が入り、
真空オイルの処理が困難となり、また、マイクロ波によ
る真空乾燥処理装置では処理済物の取出し時に放射性有
機物及び悪臭が炉外に出てしまう欠点があった。 【0005】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の目的は前記の
ような従来の欠点を解消し、乾燥処理に伴う放射性有機
物の漏洩や悪臭の発生はなく、短時間で均一且つ確実に
乾燥処理することができる放射性有機物を含有する腐敗
性廃棄物の乾燥処理装置を提供することにある。 【0006】 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は放射性有機物を
含有する腐敗性廃棄物を乾燥処理する装置であって、遠
赤外線ヒータを加熱源とする減圧乾燥炉と、該乾燥炉を
減圧するための水用エゼクターと、前記減圧乾燥炉と水
用エゼクターとの間に配置され、前記乾燥炉から吸引さ
れる放射性有機物を含有した排ガス、水分等を凝縮捕集
する凝縮捕集槽と、該凝縮捕集槽で捕集された凝縮液を
貯留する凝縮液タンクと、排ガス中の未凝縮の水分を冷
却補修する補助凝縮タンクと、該補助凝縮タンクと前記
水用エゼクターとの間に配置されていて、逆流水を捕集
する逆流防止捕集槽と、前記凝縮捕集槽に冷却水を供給
するための冷却液タンクとを備えていることを特徴とす
る。 【0007】このように構成することにより、放射性有
機物を含有する腐敗性廃棄物は減圧乾燥炉、即ち、密閉
乾燥炉で乾燥処理されるから、放射性有機物が漏洩した
り悪臭が室外に放出されたりすることがないのは勿論、
減圧下で乾燥処理するため低温で乾燥することが可能と
なる。また、水用エゼクターで減圧しているため吸引さ
れた放射性有機物を含有した水分や排ガス、悪臭成分等
は凝縮捕集槽の水に吸収される。乾燥炉の加熱源として
遠赤外線ヒータを用いているから乾燥時間も短く、均一
に乾燥させることができる。 【0008】 【発明の実施の形態】本発明に係る放射性有機物を含有
する腐敗性廃棄物の乾燥処理装置の実施例をフローシー
トとして示す図1に基づいて説明する。図において、1
は減圧乾燥炉であって、加熱源として遠赤外線セラミッ
クヒータ2が使用され、減圧は水用エゼクター3によっ
て行われる。4は前記減圧乾燥炉1と水用エゼクター3
との間に配置された凝縮捕集槽であって、前記乾燥炉1
から吸引される放射性排ガスや水分、悪臭成分等5を凝
縮捕集するものである。 【0009】6は凝縮捕集槽4によって捕集された凝縮
液を貯留する凝縮液タンクであり、凝縮液は凝縮水排出

となる廃棄物を減圧乾燥炉1に収容し、水用エゼクタ3
により減圧した状態で遠赤外線ヒータ2により加熱して
乾燥処理する。 【0013】乾燥処理に伴う排ガス、水分等5は減圧に
伴う吸引作用で凝縮捕集槽4内に入り、凝縮捕集されて
凝縮液タンク6に溜められる。未凝縮の排ガス等は補助
凝縮捕集タンク7で凝縮捕集された後、逆流防止捕集槽
15に吸入される。該逆流捕集槽15内の排ガス等は吸
引用アスピレーター17により吸引され、水処理が行わ
