Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0001] 1. Field of the Invention [0002] The present invention relates to a protective band to be worn in mountain climbing shoes for preventing ankle sprain. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a method of protecting an ankle, a method of wrapping a bandage, a cloth tape, or a sports supporter around an ankle or an affected part to protect the ankle has been adopted. [0003] This has the following disadvantages. (A) When bandaging, it is difficult to fix the ankle, and it is displaced during walking, so that it is no longer necessary to protect the ankle. (B) When wrapping a cloth tape, the ankle is fixed too strongly, making normal walking difficult. Further, if it is wrapped directly on the skin, rash due to the adhesive surface or pain due to rubbing is accompanied, and it cannot be used for a long time. (C) Since the sports supporter is made of an elastic material, the restraining force against the lateral twist of the ankle is insufficient. In addition, the compression force is strong, and when used in mountaineering shoes, blood flow is impaired. The present invention has been made to solve these disadvantages. [0004] Ankle covers (4a) and (4b) are attached to an ankle band (1) and an ankle band (2) by bridging. Stop portions (5a) (5b) (5c) (5d) made of hook-and-loop fasteners are provided at the ends of each band. The ankle covering part (4a) and the ankle covering part (4
b), a rubber band (6) is provided. The present invention is a mountain climbing ankle protection band having the above configuration. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Although FIG. 1 shows the left foot,
The configuration for the right foot is the same. (A) An ankle band (1) and an ankle band (2), which are made of a thin band without elasticity, are provided with an intersection (3) so that one end intersects with the ankle band (1). 4a) and (4b) are attached by bridging. (B) A stop (5a) made of a hook-and-loop fastener is provided at one end of the instep band (1), and a stop (5b) made of a hook-and-loop fastener is provided at one end of the ankle band (2). (C) The back surface of the intersection (3) is provided with a hook-and-loop fastener,
Stop portions (5c) and (5d). (D) Ankle covering portion (4a) and ankle covering portion (4a)
b), a rubber band (6) is provided. The present invention has the above configuration. In the case of using the present invention, in a mountain climbing shoe, a sock is mounted from above a sock as follows. Wrap the instep band (1) around the instep and stop (5a)
Stop at (5d). Ankle covering part (4a) (4b)
However, the position is adjusted so as to cover the ankle closely, and the ankle band (2) is wrapped around the ankle, and the stoppers (5b) (5c)
Stop at When a force for twisting the ankle is applied during walking, the ankle covering portions (4a) and (4b) exert a restraining force to prevent ankle sprain. In addition, an ankle covering part (4a)
The portion composed of (4b) and the rubber band (6) can be substituted by a plastic or a thin metal formed into a concave shape and an elastic cushioning material bonded inside. In that case, the present invention is not limited to the use in combination with mountain climbing shoes, so that the present invention can be applied to general sports use and medical use as a substitute for casting. [0006] Lightweight mountaineering shoes and leather-shaped mountaineering shoes, which have become popular in recent years, have insufficient strength against torsion of the ankle. Therefore, by using the present invention together, it is possible to compensate for the insufficient strength of the shoe and to greatly enhance the effect of preventing the ankle from spraining. The advantages of the present invention are described below. (B) Because it is light and small in thickness, it does not feel uncomfortable or oppressive even when worn in the usual hiking shoes. (B) Since the shape exerts a restraining force only on the lateral twist of the ankle, the movement of the ankle during normal walking is not hindered. (C) Since it is worn over socks, there is no skin pain due to rubbing. (D) Since it is not an elastic material, the tightening force is small except when stepping on, and does not cause blood flow obstruction. The present invention is an ankle protection band having the above advantages.
