A cross member 3 extending in a direction intersecting with the floor tunnel 6 is formed so as to extend downward from either a first portion 3a having a cross-section that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and has a day shape or a front or rear wall of the first portion. And an apron-shaped second portion 3b that is extended to the outside , and is provided with a notch 11 that matches the contours of the outer surface and the upper surface of the floor tunnel in the second portion. The bottom surface 12 of the first portion is joined to the top surface 6a of the floor tunnel, and the end surface of the closed section C2 of the first portion is joined to the inner side surface of the side sill. By doing so, the closed cross section passes through the entire length in the vehicle width direction, so that the buckling rigidity of the cross member extending across the floor tunnel does not complicate the manufacturing process. Can be increased to In particular, slide guide means (T slot 14 in the embodiment) is provided on the upper surface of the bottom wall of the first portion, and the fastener member for attaching the accessory member (T nut 1 in the embodiment) is provided in the slide guide means.
If 5) is slid, the auxiliary member (the support bracket 20 of the Bowden cable for the hand brake or the fixing band 18 of the fuel tank in the embodiment) can be attached to any position of the cross member.

A rectangular widened portion 15a formed at the end of the T-nut 15 is engageable. By forming U-shaped cut-and-raised portions 16 that can be engaged with the left and right ends of the expanded portion 15a at arbitrary positions on the bottom wall 12, the T-nut 15
Can be positioned. T-nut 15
Engages with the T-slot 14 with the rectangular expansion portion 15a, so that, for example, a band 18 (see FIG. 2) for fixing the fuel tank 17 and a bracket for supporting the Bowden cable 19 for handbrake. A bolt 21 such as 20 (see FIG. 7) for fixing an accessory member is not rotated when tightened into the female screw hole 15b of the T nut 15.

The effect is obtained. Further, a slide guide means such as a T slot is provided on the upper surface of the bottom wall of the first portion,
If a fastener member such as a T-nut is slidably fitted to the slide guide means, the fastener member can be easily provided within the closed cross section, and therefore the strength of the cross member is not lowered and the cross member is placed at an arbitrary position. An accessory member can be attached.
