【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、略一定幅を有するフロ
アの前後方向に少なくとも２つのシートを配置して成る
車両に関する。

【従来の技術】例えば、ゴルフカーの中には、フロアの
前後方向に２つのシートを配置し、前側のシートにドラ
イバーを含めて複数の乗員が、後側のシートにも複数の
乗員がそれぞれ着座できるものが出現している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところが、上記ゴルフ
カーを含め前後に２つのシートを配置した従来の車両に
あっては、前側のシートを支持するシートポストの幅が
フロアの幅と同一であったため、そのシートポストの側
方にフロア空間が形成されず、特に後側のシートに着座
する例えば３人の乗員の足の置き場所が十分でない場合
があり、居住性に欠ける面があった。
【０００４】本発明は上記問題に鑑みてなされたもの
で、その目的とする処は、高い居住性を有する車両を提
供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成すべく本
発明は、略一定幅を有するフロアの左右両端縁をサイド
シルプレートによって縁取りし、外側方が開放されたフ
ロアの前後方向に少なくとも２つのシートを配置して成
る車両において、前記各サイドシルプレートの上面をフ
ロア面と略同一面とするとともに、最後部のシートを除
く少なくとも１つのシートのシートポストの幅を前記サ
イドシルプレートを含むフロアの幅よりも狭くし、該シ
ートポストの側方にフロア空間を形成したことを特徴と
する。

【作用】本発明によれば、最後部よりも前側のシートの
シートポストの側方にフロア空間が形成されるため、該
フロア空間を後側のシートに着座する乗員の足載せ用の
ステップとして活用することができ、これによって当該
車両の居住性が高められる。

【実施例】以下に本発明の一実施例を添付図面に基づい
て説明する。
【０００８】図１は本発明に係るゴルフカーの側面図、
図２は同ゴルフカーの平面図、図３は同ゴルフカーのシ
ート部分の平面図、図４は図３のＡ−Ａ線拡大断面図、
図５はゴルフカー後部の部分斜視図である。
【０００９】先ず、図１及び図２に基づいてゴルフカー
１の概略構成を説明すると、該ゴルフカー１は５人乗り
であって、車体２はその前後部を左右一対の前輪３と後
輪４によってそれぞれ走行自在に支持されている。
【００１０】又、車体２の略平坦なフロア５上には２つ
のシート６，７が前後方向に適当な間隔で配置されてお
り、前側のシート６の前方にはハンドルポスト８が斜め
に立設されている。そして、ハンドルポスト８内に回転
自在に挿通するステアリングシャフトの上端にはステア
リングハンドル９が結着されている。尚、前側のシート
６にはドライバーを含めて２人の乗員が、後側のシート
７には３人の乗員がそれぞれ着座でき、当該ゴルフカー
１には計５人の乗員が乗ることができる。
【００１１】更に、車体２の前後部はフロントカバー１
０、リヤカバー１１によってそれぞれ覆われており、フ
ロントカバー１０の上方にはフロントウインド１２が立
設され、該フロントウインド１２の上端からはルーフ１
３が後方に向かって延設されている。
【００１２】又、車体２の前端の前記左右の前輪３の間
にはフロントバンパー１４が取り付けられている。
【００１３】ところで、本実施例に係るゴルフカー１に
おいては、図２及び図３に示すように、前記フロア５は
その全長に亘って略一定幅Ｂを有しており、該フロア５
の両端縁はアルミニウムの押出成形品であるサイドシル
プレート１５によって縁取りされている。
【００１４】而して、前記シート６，７はフロア５上に
立設されたシートポスト１６，１７によってそれぞれ支
持されているが、後側のシート７を支持するシートポス
ト１７の幅はフロア５の幅Ｂと略等しく設定され、該シ
ートポスト１７の両側部はフロア５の両端部まで張り出
している。
【００１５】これに対して、前側のシート６を支持する
シートポスト１６の幅ｂはフロア５の幅Ｂよりも狭くな
っている（ｂ＜Ｂ）。つまり、図４に示すように、シー
トポスト１６の両側壁１６ａ（図４には一方のみ図示）
はフロア５（正確には、サイドシルプレート１５）の端
部よりも車幅方向内方へ位置し、この結果、シートポス
ト１６の両側方には幅ΔＢ（＝（Ｂ−ｂ）／２）のフロ
ア空間Ｓがそれぞれ形成されている。

フロア空間Ｓを足載せ用のステップとして利用すること

リヤカバー１１の後部中央にはメインテナンス用の開口
部（図示せず）が形成されており、この開口部は図５に
示す蓋部材１９によって塞がれている。
【００１８】上記蓋部材１９は樹脂にて一体成形され、
その下部には金具２０に差し込まれた不図示の傘の先部
を受けるための傘受け１９ａと小物入れ１９ｂとが一体
に形成されている。
【００１９】而して、蓋部材１９はリヤカバー１１にビ
ス２１によってネジ止めされており、これを取り外せば
リヤカバー１１に開口部が開口するため、リヤカバー１
１全体を取り外すことなく、開口部を介してエンジン等
のメインテナンスを容易に行なうことができる。
