Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method for welding a metal plate, and more particularly, to a method for welding a metal plate whose surface is coated by ultrasonic welding. And a welding method for preventing the occurrence of welding marks on the outer surface side of the welding. [0002] For example, metal sheets coated on the surface such as PVC steel sheets are used for various purposes, such as roof coverings, eaves and other decorative covering materials as building materials. is there. When such a metal plate is used as the above-mentioned building material, it is necessary to connect the building materials to each other. [0004] Ultrasonic welding is suitable for connecting a metal plate whose surface is covered. This is because caulking with rivets requires drilling, which is costly, exposes the head of the rivet on the outer surface, reduces the design value, and requires a double-sided adhesive tape for connection. In contrast to resistance welding, ultrasonic welding has the advantage that unlike welding, the welding temperature is low, there is no grain coarsening, and the properties of the joint are hardly impaired compared to the base metal Because there is. In conventional ultrasonic welding, a pair of welding tips sandwich a superposed portion of a metal plate to be connected, apply vibration energy to the upper welding tip for a short time while applying a pressing force, and a local Welding is performed by vibration heat. In the ultrasonic welding described above, a pressing force is applied across a metal plate to be connected between a pair of welding tips, and at the same time vibration is applied, so that the exterior material melts. As a result, recessed welding marks are generated on both surfaces of the connected metal plate, and if these welding marks are visible on the outer surface of the connection portion, there is a problem that the commercial value of the product is reduced. Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a method of welding a metal plate which does not cause welding marks on one surface of a connected metal plate serving as an outer surface of the product and which can greatly improve the commercial value of the product. To provide. [0008] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the invention of claim 1 uses an ultrasonic welding method, in which a pair of metal plates to be connected by a pair of welding tips are superposed. In the case where welding is performed with a portion interposed therebetween, the one-side welding tip including the contacting portion is included in the contact portion of the one- side welding tip with the metal plate.
A water-containing member formed using a cloth is attached so as to cover the end of the water-absorbing member, and the water-containing member is impregnated with water and wetted.
In this configuration, welding is performed in a state where the welding is performed. Here, the water-containing member is formed using a cloth so as to cover the tip of the one-side welding tip, and by applying water at the time of welding, the rise in temperature is suppressed, and welding marks are formed on the surface of the metal plate. Prevent sticking. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, in the ultrasonic welding used for welding the metal plates 1 and 1, an ultrasonic generator is connected to the upper welding tip 2 and a weight is provided at the upper end. A lower welding tip 3 serving as a reflection pole is disposed immediately below, and an overlapped portion of the metal plates 1 and 1 to be connected to each other is sandwiched between the upper welding tip 2 and the lower welding tip 3. The ultrasonic generator is activated in a state where the overlapped portions of the plates 1 and 1 are pressurized, so that ultrasonic vibration energy is applied to the joints to join them. The metal plates 1, 1 to be connected by the ultrasonic welding include double-sided PVC steel plates, aluminum plates, iron plates,
For example, these materials are used as decorative covering materials such as roofs and eaves as building materials, and the above-described ultrasonic welding is used for connection between building materials. FIG. 2 shows an example of a connection state of the metal plates 1 and 1. The two metal plates 1 and 1 bent into a predetermined sectional shape are connected to a connecting plate 4 having the same material and sectional shape. Connected through. In this case, the metal plate 1 and the connection plate 4
Are welded 5 and then the other metal plate 1 and the connecting plate 4 are overlapped and welded 5. Further, the use of the connection plate 4 may be omitted, and the ends of the two metal plates 1 and 1 may be directly overlapped and welded. In the above ultrasonic welding, a water-containing member 6 is attached to one of the welding tips, specifically, the upper end of the lower welding tip 3 which contacts the lower metal plate 1.
By performing welding in a state where water is contained in the water-containing member 6, a rise in the temperature of the lower welding tip 3 and the lower metal plate 1 is suppressed, thereby preventing the exterior material from being melted. This is to prevent adhesion marks on the surface. The water-containing member 6 is formed so as to cover the upper end of the lower welding tip 3 by using a cloth, and water is applied at the time of welding by artificially using a water injection tool before the start of welding. It is also possible to apply water or arrange a water injection nozzle near the lower welding tip 3 so that water is always injected into the water-containing member 6. The method and timing of water injection may be appropriately selected. What is necessary is just to make a member wet. Next, a welding method will be described with reference to FIG. An overlapped portion of the metal plates 1 and 1 to be connected to each other is sandwiched between an upper welding tip 2 and a lower welding tip 3, and the overlapped portion of the metal plates 1 and 1 is added between the welding tips 2 and 3. By activating the ultrasonic generator in a state of being pressed, ultrasonic vibration energy is applied to the joint to perform the joining. At this time, the superposed metal plates 1, 1
The outer side of the product using the metal plate 1 is brought into contact with the lower welding tip 3 via the water-containing member 6, and the inner side of the product using the metal plates 1, 1 is brought into contact with the upper welding tip 2. To perform ultrasonic welding. By doing so, the surface of the lower metal plate 1 contacted via the water-containing member 6 containing water is
By lowering the temperature of the lower welding tip 3 and cushioning,
It can prevent the exterior material from melting and prevent welding marks from sticking, and the welding marks occur only on the inner side of the product,
A product with no visible welding marks can be obtained from the outside. As described above, according to the present invention, when ultrasonic welding is carried out by sandwiching a superposed portion of a metal plate to be connected by a pair of welding tips, the metal plate of one of the welding tips is used. A water-containing member is attached to the contact part with
Since the welding is performed in a wet state by including water in the water-containing member, the water-containing member containing water suppresses a rise in the temperature of the one-side welding tip and the metal plate abutting on the chip, and is made of cloth. Due to the cushioning property of the water-containing member, it is possible to prevent welding marks from being formed on the surface of the metal plate. Can make it possible to obtain a product in which the connection portion does not show any welding marks from the outside, and it is possible to improve the design and commercial value of the product using the metal plate.
