By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional stainless steel grating, a large number of main bars and a plurality of cross bars are fixed by welding. However, the welding is difficult and Technology is required, and there are a large number of welding points. When welding is performed by a welding worker, it is very time-consuming, inefficient, and costly to manufacture. There is a problem that the main bar and the cross bar are loosened during use and an unpleasant metallic sound such as "chareen, chareen" is generated, and further, the discoloration of the stainless member due to welding heat occurs. However, there was a problem of impairing the design.

There is also a method for efficiently assembling the grating by welding the connecting portion between the main bar and the cross bar at a time by using an automatic welding machine, but this method involves complicated welding in which a large number of electrode rods are arranged. A machine is required, the equipment cost is very high, and the crossbar is moderately pressed into the groove with ridges on the main bar, while excess current is passed from the electrode rod to perform resistance welding. It is difficult to control technology such as safety control and safety management, and high technology is required.

According to the grating having such a structure, a cross pipe made of a hollow stainless steel tube is used as a cross member that is inserted into a plurality of stainless main bars arranged in parallel in a state orthogonal to each other. Each main bar was assembled and fixed in a lattice shape by plastically deforming the section between the main bars of the pipe by a pressing press into a cross section with a major axis slightly larger than the inner diameter of the connecting hole to form a substantially elliptical shape. It does not require welding with a cross pipe, which is a cross member, and can simply and securely bond and fix both without the need for advanced technology simply by pressing the cross pipe, and peeling due to discoloration due to welding heat or poor welding.・ No more worries about unpleasant metallic noise.

Further, since the cross pipe consisting of a hollow round pipe is only plastically deformed into a substantially vertically elliptical cross section having a major axis slightly larger than the inner diameter of the hole of the main bar by a pressing press,
Compared to plastic deformation of a solid bar by a pressing press, it requires less energy, assembly and production is easier and cost can be reduced, and plastic deformation is sufficient to prevent cracks and scratches on the cross pipe. No stress corrosion occurs in the cross pipe, and the material characteristics of stainless steel can be utilized.

Then, the assembling jig 50 is moved forward and backward and right and left so that the first one cross pipe 3 is moved up and down.
Positioning is performed so as to be right above the center of the opening 19a of the nine. In this state, the controllers of the hydraulic drive mechanism 30 and the lifting mechanism 16 are operated. As a result, each hydraulic cylinder 33 of the hydraulic drive mechanism 30 presses (extends), and the rotating arm 26
The movable comb-teeth pressing die 22 together with the die attachment base 27 is appropriately moved to the fixed comb-teeth pushing die 21 through the die, and the four elevating cylinders 19 of the elevating mechanism 16 are shortened to raise and lower the table 19. Thus, the movable comb-teeth pressing die 22 together with the fixed comb-teeth pressing die 21 is provided with the opening 19a of the elevating table 19.
It enters into the above-mentioned assembly jig 50 through the upper side and sandwiches the inter-main-bar inter-parts 3a of the first one cross pipe 3 from the left and right. Further, each hydraulic cylinder 33 performs a pressing (expanding) operation to move the movable comb-tooth pressing die 22 toward the fixed comb-tooth pressing die 21 so that the main bars of the one cross pipe 3 are connected to each other. The portion 3a is pressed from the left and right. The pressing force at this time may be about 50 tons. As a result, the inter-main-bar inter-parts 3a of the one cross pipe 3
Is plastically deformed into a substantially vertically long elliptical cross section having a major axis slightly larger than the inner diameter of the connecting hole 2c of the main bar 2, whereby the one cross pipe 3 and each main bar 2 are fixed to each other.

Thereafter, the hydraulic cylinders 33 of the hydraulic drive mechanism 30 move backward (shorten) to release the clamping pressure, and the lifting mechanism 16 raises and returns the lifting table 19 to a predetermined height. Then, the worker again moves and adjusts the assembly jig 50 to the left and right, and the next second cross pipe 3 moves to the lifting table 1.
Positioning is performed so as to be right above the center of the opening 19a of the nine. In this state, the controller is operated in the same manner as the previous time to operate the hydraulic drive mechanism 30 and the elevating mechanism 16, and the movable comb-shaped pressing die 22 and the fixed comb-shaped pressing die 21 cause the second cross. The inter-main-bar portions 3a of the pipe 3 are pressed from the left and right to be plastically deformed into a substantially vertically long elliptical cross section having a major axis slightly larger than the inner diameter of the connecting hole 2c of the main bar 2, whereby the second cross. According to the grating 1 assembled in this way, the cross pipe 3 made of a hollow stainless steel tube is used as the cross member, and the main bar interspaces 3a of the cross pipes 3 are connected to each other by the pressing press to the inner diameter of the connecting hole 2c. The main bar 2 and the cross pipe 3 are assembled and fixed to each main bar 2 in a lattice shape by plastically deforming the cross section with a slightly larger major axis than the cross pipe 3 without simply welding the main bar 2 and the cross pipe 3. Both of them can be easily and securely firmly fixed together without the need for advanced technology.
There is no need to worry about discoloration due to welding heat or peeling due to poor welding or unpleasant metal noise.

Furthermore, since the hollow round cross pipe 3 is only plastically deformed into a vertically elongated elliptical cross section having a major axis slightly larger than the inner diameter of the hole 2c of the main bar 2 by a compressing press, the solid bar is clamped. Compared to plastically deforming by pressing, less energy is required, assembly and manufacturing is easier and cost can be reduced, and plastic deformation that does not cause cracks and scratches on the cross pipe 3 is sufficient. Stress corrosion does not occur, and the material properties of stainless steel can be utilized.

Further, it becomes possible to assemble and manufacture the high-grade grating by a simple method with extremely high efficiency and small energy. In the above embodiment, the cross pipe 3 is formed by forming small arc-shaped or triangular notches (not shown) having a depth of about 0.3 mm at the upper and lower edges of the inner periphery of the connection hole 2c of each main bar 2. When the cross-section 3 is plastically deformed to have a vertically long elliptical cross section by the pressing press, the cross pipe 3 bites into the notch so that it can be more firmly fixed to the main bar 2.

In the assembling apparatus of the above embodiment,
When the elevating mechanism 16 descends, a pair of comb-teeth pressing dies 21, 22
While the main bar inter-parts 3a of the cross pipe 3 can be pressed from the left and right, the vertical arrangement relationship between the lifting table 19 of the lifting mechanism 16 and the pair of comb-teeth pressing dies 21, 22 is reversed. It is also possible that the pair of comb-teeth pressing dies 21 and 22 can press the inter-main-bar interspaces 3a of the cross pipe 3 from the left and right when the lifting mechanism 16 is raised. In addition, various changes may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.

Further, since the cross pipe of the hollow round pipe is only plastically deformed by the pressing press into a substantially elliptical cross section having a major axis slightly larger than the hole inner diameter of the main bar, the solid bar is plastically pressed by the pressing press. It requires less energy than deforming, it is easy to assemble and manufacture, cost can be reduced, and plastic deformation is enough to prevent cracks and scratches on the cross pipe, so stress corrosion occurs on the cross pipe. Instead, the material characteristics of stainless steel can be utilized.
