【発明の詳細な説明】 【0001】 【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、熱硬化性樹脂で成形し
た部品同士を接着する方法に関するものである。 【0002】 【従来の技術】型に樹脂を注入して樹脂成形品を成形す
る製法の一種にレジン・トランスファ−・モ−ルデイン
グ(以下RTMという)と呼ばれる工法がある。このR
TMで熱硬化性樹脂とガラス繊維マットを用いて自動車
の外板などのFRP製品を成形している。このような熱
硬化樹脂部品を2個以上接着する場合には、一般に2液
型の遅乾性接着剤を使用している。これは、速乾性の接
着剤(一般に1液型)を使用すると、製品表面にヒケが
発生したり、応力集中が発生し易いため、ゆっくりと硬
化するタイプの接着剤が用いられる。 【0003】特開昭63−132788号公報には、折
曲げて重ね合せた2枚の板の間に熱硬化性樹脂を充填
し、加圧しながら超音波振動を与えて熱硬化性樹脂を硬
化させることにより、2枚の板を折曲げ部で接合する方
法が記載されている。また、特開昭61−277427
号公報には、熱硬化性樹脂部品にアリ状凹部を形成し、
熱可塑性樹脂部品に凸部を形成し、アリ状凹部に媒体材
を入れて熱硬化性樹脂部品と熱可塑性樹脂部品とを接合
する方法が記載されている。 【0004】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来のゆっくり硬化す
るタイプの2液型接着剤を使用する場合には、接着剤が
硬化するまで接合部品を治具で固定する必要があり、こ
の治具を使用する接着時間が長いため、生産工程で多数
の治具が必要となる。これを改善するため加熱により接
着剤の硬化時間を短縮しようとすると、特殊な加熱式治
具が必要となり、設備投資が大となる。 【0005】前記特開昭63−132788号公報に記
載された接合方法は、折曲げて重ね合せた2枚の板の間
に熱硬化性樹脂を充填して硬化させるものであり、熱硬
化性樹脂自体の接合力は弱く、突合せ接着の場合には十
分な接着力が得られない。また、前記特開昭61−27
7427号公報に記載された接合方法は、熱硬化性樹脂
部品と熱可塑性樹脂部品との接合に関するもので、熱硬
化性樹脂部品同士の接合には適用できない。 【0006】本発明は、加熱式接着治具を使用すること
なく、また接合用治具の使用時間が短くて済み、設備投
資が軽減できるる熱硬化性樹脂部品同士の接着方法を提
供することを目的とするものである。 【0007】 【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、熱硬化性樹脂
部品の接着面のそれぞれに、突き当て部を形成した熱可
塑性樹脂片を所々に設置し、該接着面に2液型の接着剤

断面図と斜視図で、図1は接着状態、図2は接着前の状
態を示す。図に示すように、熱硬化性樹脂部品1,1の
接着面には、それぞれ予め熱可塑性樹脂片2を所々に設
置し、各熱可塑性樹脂片2には突起3を形成し、熱硬化
性樹脂部品1,1を接合するときに、突起3同士が突き
当たるようにする。この熱可塑性樹脂片2は、熱硬化性
樹脂部品1をRTMで成形する際に、膨頭部4を熱硬化
性樹脂内にインサートして取付けることにより、一体的
に強固に取付けられる。熱硬化性樹脂部品1,1の接着
面に2液型の接着剤5を塗布し、図示しない治具で位置
決め固定し、図1の状態に保持する。接合面における接
着剤5は、熱可塑性樹脂片2の突起3の高さで規定され
る一様な厚さとなる。 【0010】熱硬化性樹脂部品1,1の接合部に超音波
を当て、熱可塑性樹脂片2の突起3同士の突き当て部を
溶着する。例えば、熱可塑性樹脂片2をポリプロピレン
(PP)製とすると、数秒で溶着する。超音波振動によ
る溶着に代え、加熱溶着としてもよい。熱硬化性樹脂部
品1,1が熱可塑性樹脂片2の突起3部の溶着で仮止め
されるので、治具から取外して接着剤5を自然硬化させ
る。この接着剤5の硬化時間を短縮するため、熱を加え
るようにしてもよい。 【0011】以上の実施例では、熱可塑性樹脂片2を熱
硬化性樹脂部品1,1の所々に設置するようにしたが、

According to the present invention, a thermoplastic resin piece having an abutting portion is provided on each of the bonding surfaces of a thermosetting resin component, and two liquids are placed on the bonding surface. The two-component adhesive 5 is applied to the bonding surfaces of the thermosetting resin parts 1 and 1, and is positioned and fixed by a jig (not shown), and is maintained in the state shown in FIG. The adhesive 5 on the joining surface has a uniform thickness defined by the height of the protrusion 3 of the thermoplastic resin piece 2. Ultrasonic waves are applied to the joints between the thermosetting resin parts 1 and 1 to weld the butting portions of the thermoplastic resin pieces 2 between the projections 3. For example, if the thermoplastic resin piece 2 is made of polypropylene (PP), it will be welded in a few seconds. Heat welding may be used instead of welding by ultrasonic vibration. Since the thermosetting resin parts 1 and 1 are temporarily fixed by welding the protrusions 3 of the thermoplastic resin piece 2, the thermosetting resin parts 1 and 1 are removed from the jig and the adhesive 5 is naturally cured. Heat may be applied to shorten the curing time of the adhesive 5. In the above-described embodiment, the thermoplastic resin pieces 2 are installed at various places of the thermosetting resin parts 1 and 1.
This is because if the thermoplastic resin piece 2 is provided over the entire joint, when the product after bonding is heated, the difference in the number of linear expansion systems between the thermosetting resin and the thermoplastic resin is large, and the product is warped or deformed. This is to prevent occurrence. According to the present invention, the thermosetting resin parts need only be held by a jig until they are temporarily fixed to each other by welding of the thermoplastic resin parts. Even if an adhesive having a low speed is used, the use of a jig can be performed in an extremely short time, and equipment investment can be reduced.
