A wooden veneer container 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention
Is produced by immersing water in a veneer 2 which is a piece of thin wood, and then vending the veneer 2 by molding with an upper mold 5 and a lower mold 6 having a heating function and steam pressure molding. It was done. A plurality of reinforcing protrusions 1a formed by molding and steam pressure molding are formed on the bottom wall and the side wall of the wooden veneer container 1.

In the present embodiment, this reinforcing protrusion 1a
Has a large shape at two locations on the bottom wall and a small shape at 12 locations on the side wall. The reinforcing protrusion 1a is necessary for the following reason. That is, since the veneer 2 as a raw material is a single solid material, the fiber direction is also unidirectional, and due to the nature of wood, it has twists and warps. In order to suppress those properties and at the same time provide strength reinforcement, it is necessary to form the bottom wall and the side wall at least at several places. In addition, the reinforcing protrusion 1
The shape, the number and the depth of a must be appropriately changed depending on the shape and thickness of the container.

A method for manufacturing a wooden veneer container according to an embodiment of the present invention is a method for manufacturing the wooden veneer container 1 described above. In this manufacturing method, first, the wood 3 is sliced by a slicer to obtain a thin veneer 2 having a thickness of about 0.1 mm to 3.0 mm (see FIG. 2). The type of wood 3 is not particularly limited, but conifers are preferable in consideration of the beauty of the finish.

Next, the veneer 2 is boiled (100 ° C.).
After immersing in the boiling water in (1), it is softened by immersing in water (5 ° C to 10 ° C). Depending on the type of wood 3 (for example, cedar), it can be softened only with water.

Subsequently, the softened veneer 2 is molded into a container shape by applying constant pressure and heat between the upper mold 5 and the lower mold 6, and at the same time, a plurality of bottom walls and side walls are formed. The reinforcing protrusion 1a is formed. The pressure and heat applied by the upper mold 5 and the lower mold 6 evaporate the moisture from the veneer 2 to turn the moisture into high-pressure steam S, and the high-pressure steam S compresses the veneer 2. Then, the high-pressure steam S is ejected at a stretch from the steam holes 7a formed between the upper die 5 and the lower die 6 by the pressure (FIG. 4).

In the above step, the veneer 2 once softened (containing a sufficient amount of water) with hot water or water is used as an upper die 5 and a lower die 6.
It is placed between and to apply pressure, but at this time, it is necessary to gradually apply pressure while performing softening of the veneer 2 by reheating to perform molding, and to instantaneously dry. Therefore, the steam S generated by being heated from both molds during mold molding is confined between both molds (molding space 7), and the high pressure when the confined steam S becomes a high pressure state The water vapor S is made to escape to the outside at once by using it. The steam holes 7a are an essential structure for exhibiting such an action.

The size of the steam holes 7a is 0.8 mm to 1.0.
Although it is preferably about mm, the numerical value can be roughly obtained by multiplying the wall thickness of the veneer 2 to be molded by the veneer shrinkage rate and a predetermined coefficient.

After the veneer 2 is made into a container shape by the above steps, the upper mold 5 and the lower mold 6 are opened to take out the container-shaped veneer 2 and the edge 2a of the veneer 2 is cut ( Figure 5). Thereby, the wooden veneer container 1 is manufactured. The lower mold 6 is formed with a convex portion 6a forming the reinforcing projection 1a of the wooden veneer container 1, and the upper mold 5 is also formed.
A concave portion 5a is formed on the corresponding portion of the convex portion 6a. By fitting the convex portion 6a and the concave portion 5a, the reinforcing protrusion 1a is formed therebetween. Further, steam holes 7a are formed at eight positions between the upper mold 5 and the lower mold 6 at a plurality of end portions of the mold so as to communicate the molding space 7 with the outside air. The high-pressure steam S is ejected from the steam holes 7a by its pressure.

Although the steam holes 7a can be formed in the upper mold 5, the high-pressure steam S can be formed in the lower mold 6.
Since it can be ejected at once, the molding time can be shortened and the wooden veneer container 1 can be finished neatly. That is, as shown in FIG. 7, when the pressure of the high-pressure steam S acts on the container-shaped single plate 2 in the molding space 7, the single plate 2 is compressed toward the upper mold 5 side due to the specific gravity, A void 7b is generated on the mold 6 side. This void 7b
Communicates with the steam holes 7a formed in the lower mold 6,
The high-pressure steam S can be ejected from the steam holes 7a at once.

By the way, as shown in FIG. 8, when the steam holes 7a are formed in the upper mold 5, the vacancies 7b formed on the lower mold 6 side and the steam holes 7a are blocked by the single plate 2. It becomes a state. Therefore, the high-pressure steam S in the void 7b cannot be ejected from the steam hole 7a at once. as a result,
Vessel-shaped veneer 2 in a dry state after all high-pressure steam S has escaped
Takes a long time to be manufactured, and the upper die 5
Then, the surface of the lower mold 6 is burnt by the heat of the lower mold 6, and the container 1 has no product value. For these reasons,
The steam holes 7a are preferably formed in the lower mold 6.

1. A piece of veneer, which is a piece of thin wood, is impregnated with water, and then the veneer is produced by molding with an upper die having a heating function and a lower die and steam pressure molding. A container having a plurality of reinforcing protrusions formed on the bottom wall and the side wall by the molding and the steam pressure molding.
A method of manufacturing a wooden veneer container, in which a veneer obtained by slicing wood is softened by immersing it in water or hot water, followed by boiling, and then softening the veneer into an upper mold and a lower mold. A constant pressure and heat are applied between the two to form a container shape and a plurality of reinforcing protrusions are formed on the bottom wall and side walls of the container to evaporate the water from the veneer into high-pressure steam. After compressing the veneer with high-pressure steam, the high-pressure steam is jetted out at a stroke from the steam holes formed between the upper mold and the lower mold, and the container-shaped veneer is formed at the time of molding or after opening one side. A method for manufacturing a wooden veneer container, characterized in that the edges of the container are cut.

2. A single veneer piece, which is a piece of thin wood, is impregnated with water, and then the veneer is produced by molding with an upper die and a lower die having a heating function and steam pressure molding. A container having a plurality of reinforcing protrusions formed on the bottom wall and the side wall by the molding and the steam pressure molding.
A manufacturing die for manufacturing a wooden veneer container, which comprises an upper die and a lower die having a heating function, and a wooden veneer is placed between the upper die and the lower die in a mold closed state. A molding space that is almost sealed with the same shape as the container is formed,
The lower mold is formed with a convex part that forms a reinforcing protrusion of the wooden veneer container, and the upper mold is formed with a concave part corresponding to the convex part. A mold for producing a wooden veneer container, characterized in that a steam hole that connects the molding space and the outside air is formed between the mold and the lower mold.
