According to the first aspect of the present invention, when the locking spring is pressed by rotating the pressing member about the rotation fulcrum of the pressing member provided on the base end side of the locking piece, the locking spring is locked. Since the pressing direction of the locking spring and the bending direction of the locking spring by the pressing portion formed in a substantially V-shaped cross section along the pressure contact portion of the locking spring and the locking piece are substantially the same, the pressing force by the pressing member As a result, the locking spring can be flexed efficiently and can be sufficiently pressed with a smaller pressing force than in the conventional example, and the pressing operation becomes easy.

According to a third aspect of the invention, in addition to the effect of the first aspect, the locking member is locked to the locked member so that the locking spring is in a pressed state, that is, the chain is connected to the electric wire. Since the state in which the lock and the pressure contact are released is maintained, the electric wire can be easily inserted, and further, by being brought into contact with the electric wire inserted at a predetermined position, the pressing member locks the locked member to the locked member. Since the lock is released, it is not necessary to perform the work for releasing the lock.

According to the fifth aspect, in addition to the effect of the third aspect, the frictional force at the engaging portion between the pressing member and the engaged portion formed by the bent portion is applied to the end surface. It is smaller than the frictional force in the locking part when the stopper is formed, so we know that the impact at the time of contact is small, and the flexible wire with twisted strands contacts the locked member. Even when this is done, the locking between the pressing member and the locking member can be released.

According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in addition to the effect of the third aspect, the pressing member is opposite to the pressing member until the locking of the locked member is released and the pressure member returns. It does not come into contact with the tip of the locked member that is bent to the side, so that the return operation can be performed without any trouble.

According to the eighth aspect, in addition to the effect of the third aspect, the locked member whose base end side is supported is bent toward the tip end with a slight external force. Therefore, when the electric wire comes into contact with the abutted portion provided closer to the tip than the abutted portion that is locked by the pressing member, the abutted portion is largely bent, and the bending is interlocked. Since the locked portion is also largely displaced, the locking of the pressing member with the locked member can be easily released without increasing the force for bringing the electric wire into contact with the contacted portion.

According to the ninth aspect, in addition to the effect of the third aspect, even when a plurality of electric wires are inserted by pressing a plurality of pressing members simultaneously by the collective pressing member, those electric wires are inserted. Since the locking and the pressure contact with can be released at the same time, the workability of the pressing operation is improved, and the collective pressing member is urged in the direction opposite to the pressing direction by pressing the pressing member to return. Therefore, the locking of the locked member by the pressing member can be individually released.

According to a tenth aspect of the invention, in addition to the effect of the third aspect, the pressed portions of the plurality of pressing members are provided on the outer surface of the terminal body even if they are located apart from each other. The communicating portions are connected to each other. Therefore, it is possible to collectively press the pressed parts of the plurality of pressing members by positioning the tip of a tool such as a screwdriver in the communication part, and a plurality of electric wires are inserted. Even in such a case, the locking and pressure contact of those electric wires can be released at the same time, so that the workability of the pressing operation is improved. Further, the pressing members can be individually pressed by pressing the pressed portion in a state where the tip of a tool such as a driver is not positioned in the communication portion.

According to the eleventh aspect, in addition to the effect of the third aspect, the insertion of the electric wire is regulated by the regulating member in the state where the locking of the locked member by the pressing member is released. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the electric wire from being insufficiently inserted due to the locking of the pressing member being released from the locked member in an incomplete state and the locking and pressure contact being made.
