Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method of forming a dash panel of a vehicle, and more particularly to a method of forming a dash panel in which a cowl inner panel is formed integrally with an upper end of a partition wall. . 2. Description of the Related Art A vehicle in which a cowl inner panel is integrally formed continuously with an upper end portion of a dash panel,
As shown in JP-A-2-303978, which is conventionally known, in this case, a connecting portion between the dash panel and the cowl inner panel is bent linearly and at a right angle in the vehicle width direction. Since the cowl inner panel forms a flat surface in the horizontal direction, the rigidity at the connection decreases due to the effect of springback that occurs after processing, and it is difficult to sufficiently increase the strength as a vehicle body, so the dash panel Has disadvantages such as easy generation of vibration. In addition, since a relatively large cowl inner panel is greatly bent from the dash panel, and it is practically difficult to draw and form the cowl inner panel and the dash panel integrally, the cowl inner panel portion and the dash panel are combined with each other. In a state where the boundary with the panel part is developed, the sheet is once drawn and formed integrally, and then it is bent largely at those connection points and finally formed.
At that time, it is very difficult to form the entire body with high accuracy because of the influence of springback or the like after the bending process. Therefore, in the process of welding the right and left ends of the cowl inner panel to the side of the vehicle body such as the front pillar, etc. The number of jigs for positioning the inner panel must be increased, resulting in a problem of increasing the cost of welding and assembling. Furthermore, since the connecting portion between the dash panel and the cowl inner panel is straight and bent at right angles in the vehicle width direction and the overall strength is not large, a partially closed cross-sectional structure using a cowl reinforcement is used. However, since measures such as increasing the strength are required, there is a disadvantage that the cost is increased in this aspect as well. [0005] However, as described above, it is practically impossible to integrally form the cowl inner panel and the dash panel so that the relatively large cowl inner panel can be greatly bent from the dash panel. When the cowl inner panel is continuously formed integrally with the upper end of the panel, the cowl inner panel is drawn down further downward from the bent portion connecting the dash panel and the cowl inner panel, and then the cowl inner panel is drawn downward. The formation of the concave portion has never been considered before. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention aims to easily and easily form a dash panel in which a cowl inner panel having a downward recess is connected to the upper end of a partition wall with high precision. It is. [0007] For this reason, the dash panel forming method according to the present invention is characterized in that a portion corresponding to a partition separating an engine room and a vehicle compartment and a portion corresponding to a cowl inner panel having a recess are formed by the above-described method. The connection portion of the partition wall-equivalent portion and the cowl inner panel-equivalent portion is integrally formed by drawing, and the connecting portion is laddered to the vehicle rear side from a bending line extending in the vehicle width direction set at the connection portion. Then, the connecting portion on the vehicle rear side is plastically deformed from the bending line, so that the cowl inner panel equivalent portion is displaced to a predetermined position with respect to the partition equivalent portion, thereby forming a partition wall and a concave portion downward. The dash panel with the cowl inner panel is integrally molded. That is, since the portion corresponding to the partition wall and the portion corresponding to the cowl inner panel in which the concave portion is formed in the dash panel are integrally formed in a state of being developed at the connection portion between the portion corresponding to the partition wall and the portion corresponding to the cowl inner panel. It can be easily and accurately formed by the drawing method, and also, by pressing the connecting portion from the bending line set at the connecting portion of the partition equivalent portion and the cowl inner panel equivalent portion to the vehicle rear side, By plastically deforming the connection part on the rear side of the vehicle from the bending line,
The cowl inner panel equivalent portion is displaced to a predetermined position with respect to the partition wall equivalent portion, but the shape of the cowl inner panel equivalent portion is not affected by the ironing action of the connection portion,
Therefore, the cowl inner panel having the downward recess can be integrally formed with the partition wall with high precision and easily formed by being bent downward from the upper end portion of the portion corresponding to the partition wall via the connection portion. Become like The preferred embodiments of the present invention shown in the drawings will be described below. 1 and 2, a dash panel 1 of a vehicle includes a partition wall 4 that partitions an engine room 2 and a vehicle compartment 3, and a partition wall 4 from a bent upper end portion 5 of the partition wall 4 through a substantially flat connecting portion 6. The cowl inner panel 7 is integrally formed with the engine compartment, and the partition wall 4 has a complicated inclined surface formed at a portion through which a steering shaft (not shown) penetrates, a portion such as a tire wheel house, and an engine room. 2 has an intricately uneven shape so that it does not come into close contact with an engine (not shown) or its accessories, and the upper bent portion 5 of the partition wall 4 extends in the vehicle width direction. It is configured such that the position is partially shifted from the width direction to the vehicle front-rear direction or the like. The cowl inner panel 7 has a substantially flat connecting portion 6 on the dash panel 1 extending in the vehicle width direction.
1 is bent downward from the rear end edge (right end in FIG. 1) to project a vertical section downward, and a relatively deep concave portion 10 having a bottom surface 8 and a flange 9 at the rear end is formed. While it has a given vertical cross-sectional area, it has a complex shape that is not uniform in the vehicle width direction, and equipment such as air conditioner blower ducts and various devices in the instrument panel are arranged below and behind the bottom surface 8. At the same time, it is formed so that rainwater or the like on the bottom surface 8 flows in the vehicle width direction. In this case, since the partition wall 4 and the cowl inner panel 7 of the dash panel 1 are integrally formed via the substantially flat connecting portion 6, the vehicle compartment is formed from the connection portion between the partition wall 4 and the cowl inner panel 7. 3 can be completely prevented from entering rainwater and the like, and a cowl reinforcement or the like for supporting the connection portion is not required, so that the vehicle body structure can be easily simplified, and therefore, While the required cost can be easily reduced,
Since the cowl inner panel 7 is largely bent downward from the rear end edge of the connecting portion 6 to form a relatively deep concave portion 10 downward, the bottom surface 8 of the cowl inner panel 7 may be appropriately arranged low. As a result, the cross section of the cowl can be set relatively large, so that the rigidity of the cowl can be sufficiently improved. Next, a method of forming the dash panel 1 will be described. First, as shown in FIG. 3, as shown in FIG. 3, a shape in which the partition wall equivalent portion 4 a and the cowl inner panel equivalent portion 7 a are expanded at a portion 20 extending in the vehicle width direction and corresponding to the substantially flat connecting portion 6. The upper and lower dies are respectively drawn and formed from sheet metal of the material so as to form a partition portion 4a, a bent portion 5, a connecting portion 20 having a bent portion 21 extending in the vehicle width direction in the middle, and a cowl. The plate member 22 on which the inner panel equivalent portion 7a is formed is manufactured. In this case, the partition-corresponding portion 4a, the bent portion 5, and the cowl inner panel-corresponding portion 7a each have a complicated shape as described above, and the recess-corresponding portion 10a in the cowl inner panel-corresponding portion 7a is relatively deep. However, since the material is not bent at a right angle or more as a whole, each part thereof can be manufactured with high precision by drawing. As a second step, a trimming process for cutting off the surrounding blanks 23 and the like from the plate material 22 is performed, and as a third step, as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. The connected plate member 22 is
The upper die 31 is sandwiched between the bending lines of the bent portions 21 formed in the connecting portion 20, and the gap between the upper die 31 and the lower die 30 is connected to the connecting portion 20.
, The upper mold 31 is displaced in the direction of arrow A along the lower mold 30, and the upper mold 31 and the lower mold 30 are displaced.
By completely plastically deforming the connecting portion 20 while squeezing the connecting portion 20 from the bent portion 21, the connecting portion 6 is formed from the connecting portion 20 as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIGS. 4 and 5. The cowl inner panel-equivalent portion 7a comes to a predetermined position relative to the partition wall-equivalent portion 4a, and is finished to the final shape for forming the cowl inner panel 7, and the partition-equivalent portion 4a constitutes the partition wall 4 as it is. . At this time, even if an ironing action is applied to the connecting portion 20, no reaction such as springback occurs at the time of bending due to the complete plastic deformation, so that a cowl inner panel corresponding to the connecting portion 20 is equivalent. Since the portion 7a itself is not affected at all and the high accuracy of the cowl inner panel equivalent portion 7a formed in the first step is not impaired at all, the partition wall portion 4 having a complicated shape and the upper end thereof The dash panel 1 having the cowl inner panel 7 having a complicated shape having a relatively deep concave portion 10 bent greatly from the portion can be easily formed with high precision. Further, as a fourth step, both ends in the vehicle width direction of the dash panel 1 formed in the third step are bent and formed into a lower mold 40 in a shaping manner, respectively, as shown in FIG. By doing so, the downwardly bent flange 41 is formed, and the dash panel 1 is manufactured. The dash panel 1 is completely plastically deformed in the third step from the bent portion 21 which is the bending line of the connecting portion 20 to the rear side of the vehicle while being squeezed, and the connecting portion 6 is formed. Therefore, the rigidity of the connecting portion 6 is greatly enhanced, and the function of reliably maintaining the shape of the dash panel 1 can be achieved. Even if the dash panel 1 has a shape extending long in the direction, the both ends of the dash panel 1 are edged by the bent flange 41 and the rigidity of the both ends of the dash panel 1 is also increased, so that the dash panel 1 can be transported when the dash panel 1 is carried. Deformation can be effectively suppressed, and the flange 41 allows both ends of the dash panel 1 to move to the side of the vehicle body such as a front pillar. It is possible to couple the easy. Accordingly, the partition wall 4 having a complicated shape and the upper bent portion 5 of the partition wall 4 are integrally formed with the partition wall 4 through the substantially flat connecting portion 6 and are largely bent with respect to the partition wall 4. The cowl inner panel 7 having a complicated shape having the relatively deep concave portion 10 can be easily formed with high accuracy, and the desired dash panel 1 can be manufactured at a relatively low cost. According to the dash panel forming method according to the present invention, the partition wall equivalent portion and the cowl inner panel equivalent portion having the recess formed in the dash panel are firstly divided into the partition wall equivalent portion and the cowl inner panel equivalent portion. Because they are formed in the unfolded state at the connection part, they can be formed easily and accurately by the draw molding method, and set at the connection part of the partition wall equivalent part and the cowl inner panel equivalent part. The cowl inner panel having a downward recessed portion is displaced from the bent line to the rear side of the vehicle by plastically deforming the connecting portion so that the portion corresponding to the cowl inner panel is displaced to a predetermined position with respect to the portion corresponding to the partition wall. Can be formed integrally with the partition wall with high precision and easily.
