【発明の詳細な説明】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、ベッドにおける身体
障害者用の手摺装着装置に関し、障害者がベッド上で寝
返りするときの手摺機能及びベッドから床面に降り立っ
て歩行訓練をする場合の手摺機能をする身体障害者用の
手摺装置をベッドに装着ならしめる装置に係るものであ
る。
【従来技術】従来から、ベッドの外周一側面に身体障害
者用の手摺装置を設けたものはあったが、この従来のも
のは、ベッドの外周を取り囲むベッドを高級化して商品
力を高める化粧枠に手摺装置を取り付けることができ
ず、この化粧枠を外して障害者用の手摺装置をベッドフ
レームに直接的に装着ならしめていた。
【発明が解決しようとする課題】この発明が解決しよう
とする課題は、ベッドの化粧枠を取り外すことなく該化
粧枠の外側面に接近させてベッドフレーム側から身体障
害者用の手摺装置を装着せんとするものである。
【課題を解決するための手段】この発明は、前記課題解
決のために、ベッド１におけるマットレス５を載置する
受け枠６の周囲を形成したスチール製のベッドフレーム
４の左右両側に木製あるいは樹脂製の化粧枠２を装着
し、このベッド１の左右一側部分に障害者用の歩行訓練
機能を果たす手摺装置１９を装備するに、前記化粧枠２
の内側部に位置する前記ベッドフレーム４に基端側を上
下方向の軸心回りに回動調節可能な設定で締結して、前
記ベッドフレーム４の外側に位置した前記化粧枠２を迂
回して当該化粧枠２の外側に適宜間隙調節可能に先端側
が位置するステー９を設け、このステー９に前記手摺装
置１９を装着する手摺装置の支持装着体７を設けてなる
ベッドにおける身体障害者用の手摺装着装置とした。
【実施例】以下、図示した実施例に基づいて説明する。
１はベッドである。２はベッド１の化粧枠で、木製ある
いは樹脂製のもので構成されている。３はベッド１の前
衝立である。４はベッド１のベッドフレームで、マット
レス５を載置する受け枠６の周囲を支持するように構成
されており、このベッドフレーム４の前後中間位置には
手摺装置の支持装着体７を装着するためのメタル筒８が
上下方向に固着され、且つ、ベッド１の前後方向に間隔
を置いて設けられている。９は前記手摺装置の支持装着
体７をベッドフレーム４に固着させるためのＵ字型のス
テーである。このステー９は、手摺装置の支持装着体７
を締付ボルト１０ａにより固着させるための螺子筒９ａ
と、前記メタル筒８に締付ボルト１０ｂにより固着させ
るための螺子筒９ｂとからなる。尚、このステー９は基
端側をベッドフレーム４に固着し、前記手摺装置の支持
装着体７を前記化粧枠２の外側に設けてなるように構成
されたものであるから、実施例においてはＵ字型に形成
されているが、これは化粧枠２を迂回するような構成で
あればよいので、他の形で構成されていても問題はな
い。前記手摺装置の支持装着体７には、後述する手摺取
付支柱を挿通ならしめる貫通孔１１、１２が前後方向に
間隔をおいて穿たれており、前記手摺装置の支持装着体
７の内側部にはそれら支柱を位置決め係合する受板１
３、１４が固着されている。１３ａ、１４ａはその受板
１３、１４の係合凹部を示す。１５、１６は締付板で、
支柱を圧着ならしめる締付子１５ａ、１６ａと、その締
付ボルト１７、１８を螺合する螺子部１５ｂ、１６ｂと
からなり、一方の締付ボルト１７にはレバー１７ａが一
体的に取り付けられている。これらのボルト１７、１８
はいずれも前記手摺装置の支持装着体７の外部から回せ
るようになっている。１９は可動型手摺で、手摺部であ
るループ状部１９ａと、取付支柱部１９ｂと、更に、床
面に接当保持される脚部１９ｃとからなり、この脚部１
９ｃは高さ調節式となっている。（イ）は高さ調節脚部
で、セットボルト２０で上下に伸縮セットできるように
なっている。２１は固定型手摺で、手摺部であるループ
状部２１ａと、その取付支柱部２１ｂとからなってい
る。以上の実施例の構成によると、図６、図７に示すよ
うに、化粧枠２が強度的に不十分であり、その化粧枠２
自体には手摺装置を装着することが不可能な場合におい
ても、手摺装置の支持装着体７をベッド１のベッドフレ
ーム４にステー９を介して装着すると、化粧枠２と接触
する物体がないので化粧枠２の損傷の恐れがない。ま
た、使用状況に応じてベッド１の前後方向の位置変更あ
るいは化粧枠２と手摺装置の支持装着体７との間隔調節
を施したい場合には、締付ボルト１０ａ、１０ｂを一旦
緩め、手摺装置の支持装着体７を適所に移動させ、再び
締付ボルト１０ａ、１０ｂを締め付けることにより、障
害者等使用者の使い易い位置に簡単に手摺をセットでき
る。さらに、図８に示すように、ベッドフレーム４に設
けられるメタル筒８の数を増やすことによって、手摺装
置の取付位置の選択幅を広げることが可能である。
【発明の効果】以上に説明したように、この発明にかか
るベッドの身体障害者用の手摺装着装置は、ベッドに取
り付けて使用するものであり、そのベッドは左右両側が
木製あるいは樹脂製の化粧枠で構成されており、その化
粧枠は強度的に弱いものであるから化粧枠自体に手摺装
置を取り付けようとすれば破損し、障害者等使用者にと
って非常に危険な状態となるので、化粧枠の内側部に位
置するベッドフレームに手摺装置を装着することにより
化粧枠の損傷を防止すると共に、障害者等使用者も極め
て安全な状態となる。また、化粧枠と手摺装置の支持装
着体との間隔を調節可能としたことにより、障害者等使
用者の使いやすい位置に手摺装置をセットすることがで
