(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】幅方向の両側へ突出する鍔状の突出部を有
する複数の長尺材を、各突出部どうしをオーバラップさ
せた状態で並列に組合せる長尺材の組合せ装置におい
て、 複数の長尺材を集積ゾーンに搬送して、突出部どうしを
突き合わせた状態で並列に集積させるコンベアと、 集積ゾーンに集積された複数の長尺材を持ち上げた後、
集積ゾーンに隣設された組合せゾーンに向かって斜め下
方に移動させて、当該長尺材を組合せゾーンに斜め上方
から移載する移載手段と、 組合せゾーンに移載される長尺材のうちの奇数列の長尺
材の相互間を通って昇降し、上昇位置で、組合せゾーン
に移載される長尺材のうちの偶数列の長尺材を、奇数列
の長尺材よりも高い位置で、且つ移載方向下流側が高く
なるように段差を有して受け止める櫛歯状の第1の受け
部材と、 組合せゾーンに移載される長尺材のうちの奇数列の長尺
材を受け止めるとともに、上記第1の受け部材を上昇さ
せた状態で、組合せゾーンから集積ゾーンに向かって所
定量移動して、組合せゾーンに移載された奇数列の長尺
材のうちの、集積ゾーン側から1列目の長尺材を除く長
尺材を、1列目の長尺材に向かって移動させた後、上記
第1の受け部材を下降させた状態で、組合せゾーンから
集積ゾーンに向かってさらに所定量移動して、上記1列
目の長尺材を除く全ての長尺材を、1列目の長尺材に向
かって移動させて各長尺材を組合せる第2の受け部材
と、 1列目の長尺材を除く奇数列の長尺材のみを、第2の受
け部材によって第1列目の長尺材に向かって移動させる
際に、当該奇数列の長尺材を、その突出部が遇数列の長
尺材の突出部とオーバラップする位置まで移動するよう
に、当該奇数列の長尺材の移動量を各列毎に制御するス
