However, in such an electric vacuum cleaner, since the dust accumulated in the dust collection case has a structure in which it is simply deposited as described above, it is particularly preferable to use a fiber or cotton cloth. In the case of dust containing a large amount of components, the bulky proportion to the absorbed mass is large. Dust with a large mass is swirled on the outer peripheral side by the centrifugal force received by the swirl in the cyclone dust collecting part, and the change (decrease) in the intake air volume passing through the main filter located on the inner peripheral part is reduced, but with the fibrous dust, Due to the small mass, the centrifugal separation effect in the cyclone dust collection part becomes insufficient, and the fibrous dust is adsorbed on the surface of the main filter part, and the suction air volume tends to be reduced, and the suction of the relatively small mass dust causes early suction. There was a problem that performance deteriorated.

As already described, the dust in the dust storage chamber 24 is simultaneously compressed into the dust storage chamber 24 with an intake air volume of about 20% sucked by the electric blower 12 from the second intake section 49. Especially, when a large amount of fibrous dust is sucked in, a large amount of dust can be accumulated. In addition,
Due to the flow of intake air from the second intake section 49 to the electric blower 12, the centrifugally separated dust in the separation chamber 22 is immediately conveyed into the dust storage chamber 24 without staying in the separation chamber 22. Needless to say.

Particularly, the communication port A35 is formed into the dust collecting case 11.
By forming it on the side of the second end wall 32 which is a front wall to be formed, the dust storage chamber 2
The dust accumulated in 4 is always positioned on the second intake portion 49 side due to the two forces of gravity and suction of the second intake portion 49, and the dust inside the dust storage chamber 24 can change its position greatly. It does not happen, and good usability can be maintained. Further, the second end wall, which is a front wall, in which the dust- containing airflow sucked into the separation chamber 24 completely passes through the separation chamber 22 to form the dust collection case 11.
The non-woven fabric filter A45 of the filter 42 has a structure in which it flows from the communication port A35 near 32 into the dust storage chamber 24.
The phenomenon in which dust adheres to the first suction portion 46 does not occur, and the suction performance of the first suction portion 46 can be maintained for a long time.

Next, since at least the lower part of the separation chamber 22 is set as the dust storage chamber 24, the dust sucked while using the main body 7 is at the most stable position, that is, the dust collection case 1.
It will be located at the bottom of 1. Therefore, during use of the present vacuum cleaner, the dust in the dust storage chamber 24 is not largely displaced and rolling noise is generated, and the suction performance is not deteriorated by backflow into the separation chamber 22.

A dust transfer chamber 23 is provided upstream of the separation chamber 22 of the dust collection case 11 in the intake direction, and the filter 42 and the communication port B30 are formed near the end face of the dust collection case 11 on the electric blower 12 side. Since the intake flow sucked into the separation chamber 22 is made to flow from the tangential direction of the outer periphery of the filter 42, the performance of centrifugal separation of dust and air in the separation chamber 22 can be improved, and the intake flow Small mass dust such as fibrous dust that tends to adhere to the non-woven fabric filter A45 can also be blown off, and dust adhesion to the filter 42 and dust accumulation in the separation chamber 22 can be prevented.

In particular, when the intake air flowing into the separation chamber 22 through the communication port B30 is made to flow in from the upper end side of the filter 42, a swirling vortex flow is surely generated in the separation chamber 22 to further prevent dust from adhering to the filter 42. Therefore, the centrifugal separation performance can be secured.

In addition, since the bottom surface of the dust transfer chamber 23 is formed by gradually inclining upward from the front of the main body 7 toward the communication port B30 side, even if a large amount of dust is sucked, the separation chamber can be easily separated. 22 can be transported. Further, even if the volume of the dust collection case 11 is the same, the volume of the dust transfer chamber 24 becomes small, so that the volume of the dust storage chamber 24 can be relatively increased.

Further, the filter 42 is the electric blower 12
The diameter of the separation chamber 22 is large, and the diameter of the end face on the front side of the main body 7 is small.
The passage area through which the swirling vortex flows inside expands in the direction in which the air flow flows, allowing smooth swirling, which enhances the centrifugal separation effect and the effect of preventing dust from adhering to the filter 42.

It is formed of a soft material such as synthetic rubber into a thin plate shape, and the upper side is separated from the dust storage chamber 24 side to the separation chamber wall 29.
Is stuck to . The communication port B30 is covered from the dust storage chamber 24 side along the substantially cylindrical separation chamber wall 29. During operation of the electric blower 12, the electric blower 1 is driven from the first intake section 46.
The amount of air sucked into the electric blower 1 is from the second air intake section 49.
Since it is larger than the amount of air sucked into 2, the communication port lid 60 is sucked toward the separation chamber 22 side by the suction air amount difference and closes the communication port B30, but the dust in the separation chamber 22 collides with the communication port lid 60 by centrifugal force. Then, by the load, as shown by the alternate long and short dash line in FIG. 7, the upper side portion fixed to the separation chamber wall 29 is rotated around the rotation center to open the communication port B30, and the dust is stored in the dust storage chamber 24.
