売機は機内に冷凍装置を備えるとともに、商品の冷却時
等に生じたドレンを処理するためのドレン処理装置を備
え、一般に図4及び図5に示すものが公知である。図に
おいて、1は商品収納室に設置される図示しない冷却ユ
ニットと共に冷凍装置を構成する凝縮ユニットで、自動
販売機の本体ケースの下部かつ前記商品収納室の下方
に、前面板に通気孔を設けた機械室を区画形成し、ここ
に設置される。前記凝縮ユニット1は前記機械室底板に
固定された基台11上に前記通気孔に面して凝縮器1
2、次いで後方へ一列に凝縮器冷却用ファン13、圧縮
機14、排気ファン15が配設される。3は凝縮ユニッ
ト1の傍に設置されるドレン処理装置で、前記機械室の
底板に固定される置台31、この置台31に載せて設置
されるドレン皿32を備える。このドレン皿32に前記
商品収納室で発生したドレンを案内するドレンパイプ3
3が接続され皿内に開口する。また凝縮器12と圧縮機
14とを結ぶ冷媒配管の一部を引き出しコイル状に形成
される蒸発パイプ34が設置され、かつこの蒸発パイプ
34に絡ませるように蒸発マット35が設けられる。 【0003】上記自動販売機は商品収納室の商品を冷却
ユニットの冷却器により冷却し、この冷却によりガス化
した冷媒が凝縮ユニット1に送り込まれ、圧縮機14に
より圧縮されて高温高圧のホットガスとなり凝縮器12
内を流れる。そしてファン13によって吸い込まれ凝縮
器12を洗流冷却する外気との熱交換によって液化し再
び冷却器へ送られる。前記外気はダクト16に案内され
て圧縮機14に流れ圧縮機14を冷却し排気ファン15
によって排出される。一方ドレン処理装置は、商品収納
室のドレンがドレンパイプ33を介してドレン皿34に
捕集される。そしてこのドレンを、蒸発パイプ34を流
れるホットガスによって加熱し、ドレン皿から、及びド
レンを蒸発マット35に吸収させ蒸発表面積の大きい蒸
発マット35から蒸発させる。 【0004】 【発明が解決しようとする課題】ところでこの種の自動
販売機は商品収納室内を小室に区画して多室化したり冷

従来のままにして、ドレンの処理量を増加できる自動販
売機のドレン処理装置を提供することを目的とする。 【0006】 【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
にこの発明は、本体ケースの下部に区画形成された機械
室に順次一列に配置された凝縮器,冷却用ファン及び
記凝縮器に対して略半分の高さの圧縮機からなる凝縮ユ
ニットと、この凝縮ユニットに並置されたドレン皿
備え、前記凝縮器の冷媒配管の一部をドレン皿内に引き
回して蒸発パイプとすると共に蒸発マットが設けられ、
前記ドレン皿内に捕集されたドレンを前記蒸発パイプ,
蒸発マットにより蒸発させる自動販売機のドレン処理装
置において、前記凝縮ユニットの冷却用ファンと圧縮機
との間に、前記冷却用ファンによって凝縮器を洗流冷却
した外気の一部を前記ドレン皿に向けて案内するエアガ
イドを設け、前記エアガイドは凝縮器を洗流冷却した外
気のうち、下部領域の外気を通過させ、上部領域の外気
をドレン皿に向けて案内することを特徴とする。 【0007】 【作用】凝縮器を冷却した外気の一部をドレン皿及びそ

吐出側に設けられるエアガイドである。このエアガイド
37は凝縮器12の上部を通り送り出される外気をドレ
ン処理装置3に向けて案内する2枚のガイド部37aを
有し、かつ取付部37bを介して凝縮器12の上端面上
に固定される。 【0009】前述の構成において、ファン13によって
機械室前面の通気孔から取り入れられた外気は、凝縮器
12を冷却し更にその下半分を通り送り出された外気が
圧縮機14を洗流冷却し排気ファン15によって排出さ
れる。そして凝縮器12の上半分を通り送り出された外
気はエアガイド37によってドレン処理装置3に向けて
案内され、かつ2枚のガイド部37aによって、蒸発マ
ット35及び蒸発パイプ34をその全長に亘って吹き抜
け排気ファン15によって排出される。ドレン皿32に
捕集されたドレンが前記蒸発パイプ34により加熱され
ドレン皿32及び蒸発マット35から蒸発するとともに
この蒸気はドレン皿32上方や蒸発マット35周囲に淀
むことなく前記エアガイド37に案内される外気によっ
て吹き払われ排出される。従ってドレン皿32及び蒸発
マット35からのドレンの蒸発が継続して活撥に行われ
従来に比べ格段に多量のドレンが蒸発処理される。尚圧
縮機14は凝縮器12に比べ略半分の高さであり凝縮器
12の下半分を通り送り出された外気によって従来と変
りなく冷却される。 【0010】 【発明の効果】この発明によれば、本体ケースの下部に
区画形成された機械室に順次一列に配置された凝縮器,
冷却用ファン及び前記凝縮器に対して略半分の高さの
縮機からなる凝縮ユニットと、この凝縮ユニットに並置
されたドレン皿を備え、前記凝縮器の冷媒配管の一部
をドレン皿内に引き回して蒸発パイプとすると共に蒸発
マットが設けられ、前記ドレン皿内に捕集されたドレン
を前記蒸発パイプ,蒸発マットにより蒸発させる自動販
売機のドレン処理装置において、前記凝縮ユニットの冷
却用ファンと圧縮機との間に、前記冷却用ファンによっ
て凝縮器を洗流冷却した外気の一部を前記ドレン皿に向
けて案内するエアガイドを設け、前記エアガイドは凝縮
器を洗流冷却した外気のうち、下部領域の外気を通過さ
せ、上部領域の外気をドレン皿に向けて案内するよう構
成したことにより、蒸発マットに当る風量が増加して蒸
発が促進されると共にドレン皿上方の蒸気が吹き払われ
て蒸発パイプによるドレンの蒸発が継続して活発に行わ
れる。しかして、従来に比べてドレン皿及び蒸発パイプ
の容量を大きくすることなく格段に多量のドレンを処理
することができ、さらに、凝縮ユニットの配置構成を大
幅に変更することがないので、既設の凝縮ユニットにも
付加することができると共に圧縮機の冷却が損なわれる
ことがないという利点を有する。
