In the above-described conventional vehicle body floor structure, when a collision input acts toward the rear of the vehicle at the time of a frontal collision of the vehicle, the floor panel 1 is lowered together with the extension member 6B with the fragile portion 5 as a base point. It is intended to absorb the collision energy by being bent and deformed in a U-shape, but the bottom wall 3c of the dash lower panel 3 is also deformed obliquely downward due to the downward bending deformation of the floor panel 1. When the vertical wall portion 3a of the dash lower panel 3 is deformed rearward with the retreating displacement of the front side member 6A, the inclined wall 3b of the dash lower panel 3 is formed.
4 rises and deforms as shown by the chain line in FIG. 4, and the living space around the feet of the occupant H who sits on the seat 8 and places the foot F on the inclined wall 3b is narrowed.

In view of the above, the present invention is directed to a method of forming a sloping wall and a bottom wall at a lower portion of a dash lower panel when a floor panel is bent downward in a U-shape with a side member from a fragile portion as a base point in a frontal collision of a vehicle. An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle body floor structure which can be moved rearward substantially in a parallel state while maintaining a shape, and which can secure a living space around a foot of an occupant.

According to a first aspect of the present invention, a bottom wall following an inclined wall of a dash lower panel is joined to a floor panel, and the floor panel is located at a front position near a seat mounting position on a front side of the dash lower panel in a vehicle width direction. In a structure in which a pair of left and right side members are joined from the inclined wall to the floor panel while forming a fragile portion, at least a portion of the dash lower panel extending from the inclined wall to the bottom wall has higher rigidity than the floor panel. The rear end of the bottom wall is joined to a position immediately before the weakened portion of the floor panel.

According to the first aspect, when a collision input acts toward the rear of the vehicle at the time of a frontal collision of the vehicle, the floor panel bends and deforms in a downward-curve shape together with the side members with the weak portion as a base. However, since the rigidity of the portion extending from the inclined wall of the dash lower panel to the bottom wall is higher than that of the floor panel, and the rear end of the bottom wall is joined to the position just before the weak portion of the floor panel, the inclined wall and The inclined wall and the bottom wall move rearward substantially parallel to each other while maintaining the opening angle with the bottom wall.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, an extension protruding forward is formed in the floor tunnel of the floor panel, and the rear side of the wheel house inner of the dash side panel extends over the inclined wall and the bottom wall of the dash lower panel. Since the reinforcing side walls are formed on the back side of the extension of the floor tunnel and overlapped with each other, the rigidity between the inclined wall and the bottom wall of the dash lower panel is further increased, and the dash lower panel at the time of a frontal collision of the vehicle. The rearward translation of the entire lower side portion of the vehicle can be reliably performed.
