Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an anti-bacterial effect in air and in an entire inner side of a refrigerator by a method wherein an anti-bacterial means containing volatile anti-bacterial substances is installed within a refrigerator chamber and the anti-bacterial means is arranged at an upper part in the refrigerator chamber when a vapor specific weight of the anti-bacterial substance is high and in turn the anti-bacterial means is arranged at a lower part in the refrigerator chamber when a vapor specific weight of the anti-bacterial substances is low. SOLUTION: An anti-bacterial means 16 placed at an upper part of a wall surface of a cold air discharging duct 11 is comprised of anti-bacterial material having anti-bacterial substance with 'wasabi' extract immersed into oil-based gel, for example, and a resin case molded into a cylindrical shape for filling anti-bacterial material, for example, and further the inner wall of the resin case is provided with some fine holes. Anti-bacterial substances gasified into gas form from the anti-bacterial material having a high vapor specific weight of the volatile anti-bacterial substances are dispersed through the fine holes in the resin case and then flowed into a refrigerator chamber 5 together with cold air through a cold air discharging port of a cold air discharging duct 11. In addition, in the case that a vapor specific weight of volatile anti-bacterial substances of the anti-bacterial material is low, a mounting position of the anti-bacterial means 16 is placed at the lower part of the cold air duct 11.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, foods are not sufficiently antibacterial and antifungal when stored in a refrigerator at a low temperature. That is, in a refrigerated environment, the growth rate of bacteria and mold is reduced, but the growth is not stopped. Conventionally, a specification has been proposed in which various antibacterial materials are kneaded into a resin. Such a specification is described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-210761.

Area consisting of antibacterial means composed of a material and facing the cold air discharge duct
By installing the antibacterial means at the upper part of the inner wall surface of the cold air discharge duct so as to maximize the temperature, the gaseous antibacterial component is uniformly diffused with the circulating cool air from the cool air discharge port into the refrigerator, and the upper and lower sides of the refrigerator compartment Prevents the concentration difference of antimicrobial components from occurring in the refrigerator, and antibacterial removes all bacteria that adhere to the surface of components in the refrigerator, bacteria that are floating in the air, and bacteria that adhere to the food surface. Therefore, there is an effect that a high antibacterial effect can be obtained in total. Also, increase the specific surface area of the antibacterial material against cold air,
High antibacterial effect is obtained in the whole room including the air and food surfaces.
There is an effect that is.

Then, a silver-based antibacterial material was kneaded into the box of the conventional specification, and the case where the antibacterial material adhered to the inner surface of the box was sprayed into the box with a certain concentration of the wasabi-extracted substance which was the specification to be examined. Make two conditions for the case. Before and after the start of the test, mold spores in the air are collected with a filter, and after culturing, the colonies of the mold that have grown are measured. As a result, the studied specification has an antibacterial effect approximately 100 times or more that of the conventional specification, and the antibacterial effect has been greatly improved. In addition, since the wasabi extract has an ethylene inhibitory action and a hemoglobin oxidation inhibitory action, it has a freshness retaining effect of preventing aging and discoloration of food.

As described above, the present invention provides a refrigerator body having a refrigerator compartment defined above a freezer compartment, a cooler, a blower for forcing cool air from the cooler into each compartment, and the refrigerator. A cool air discharge duct which has a plurality of cool air discharge ports provided above and below in the room and discharges cool air from the blower into the refrigerator compartment, and is formed into a honeycomb shape having a volatile antibacterial component mainly composed of wasabi extract. And a surface facing the cold air discharge duct.
By installing the antibacterial means on the upper part of the inner wall surface of the cold air discharge duct so that the product is maximized, the gaseous antibacterial component is uniformly diverged together with the circulating cold air from the cold air discharge port into the refrigerator, and the inside of the refrigerator refrigerator to be able to diverge so as not to cause concentration differences gaseous antimicrobial components in the upper and lower in the refrigerator, or
Also, increase the specific surface area of the antibacterial material to the passing air.
It can be antibacterial against all bacteria that are attached to the surface of components in the refrigerator, bacteria that are floating in the air, and bacteria that are attached to the surface of food. High antibacterial effect is obtained in total. In addition, aging and discoloration of foods can be suppressed, and a high freshness retaining effect can be obtained by the action of wasabi extract to suppress ethylene and hemoglobin oxidation.
