According to the technique disclosed in the above-mentioned publication, it is possible to form a package having hermeticity. However, after the end portion of the tubular film extending in the front and rear direction of the article to be packaged is end-sealed at the center of the product (obtained package) in the height direction, the ear portion is bent and formed. The length of the upper film from the end of the packaged object to the sealing position is the same as the length of the lower film. For this reason, when bending both ears to the lower surface side along the side surface of the packaged object, the bending start base end can be set only at the center position in the height direction of the packaged object, and In the case where the side and the top are arc-shaped, when the ear is bent along the side of the package, the height from the top side of the package to the center of the height, which is the bending base, is There is a drawback in that the film is stretched, a substantially linear bent edge cannot be formed on the upper surface side of the packaged object, and the packaged product cannot be given a sense of volume.

[MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS]
In order to suitably achieve the intended purpose, the hermetically sealed package of Japanese confectionery or the like according to the present invention has a single-sided weldable film formed into a tubular shape such that the welded surface is on the inner side. The superposed vertical seal portion is bent so as to be in contact with the body of the tubular film at a substantially central position in the width direction on the lower surface side of the packaged material stored in the tubular film, and sandwiches the packaged material. The length of the both bent ears of the tubular film extending in the front-back direction is set to a dimension such that the bent ears are bent to the lower surface side of the packaged object and do not overlap each other on the lower surface side. The film extending from the lower surface side of the object to be packaged at each of the bent ears is folded in the height direction of the object to be packaged toward the film extending horizontally from the upper surface side of the object to be packaged and polymerized. , The overlapping portion of both films is sealed horizontally over the entire width. An exposed portion where a welding surface is exposed is formed at a leading end of the film extending from the upper surface side of the packaged object in each of the bent ear portions, and each bent ear portion is bent to the lower surface side in the vertical seal portion. A notch is formed on the side of the tip of the ear portion facing the exposed portion when bent, such that one film welding surface of the polymerized film is exposed in a predetermined range,
The both bent ears are bent from the side surface to the lower surface side of the packaged object in a state where a substantially linear bent edge is formed over the entire width on the upper surface side of the packaged object, and the ear portions are bent. The welding surface of the exposed portion at the tip and the welding surface exposed from the cutout portion of the vertical seal portion are welded.

[0007] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems and to appropriately achieve the intended purpose, a packaging method for Japanese confectionery or the like according to another invention of the present application requires a method of forming a single-sided adhesive strip film into a tubular shape. The notch forming means arranged on the way of feeding the band-shaped film forms a notch for each one packaging length at one film edge along the longitudinal direction corresponding to the vertical seal margin,
The band-shaped film is formed into a tubular shape by bag-making means so that the welding surface is on the inner side, and both edges along the longitudinal direction of the obtained continuous tubular film are superimposed in a palm-shape manner. In the state where the film welding surface of the film is exposed, the overlapping edge portion is vertically sealed by a vertical sealing means to form a vertical seal portion which becomes a continuous strip, and the packaged object is provided on the continuous tubular film at predetermined intervals. After being supplied by the supply means, the continuous tubular film is cut by the cutting means to a required length including a folding ear portion as a folding allowance before and after the packaged object, and the required length is set before and after the packaged object is sandwiched. One film extending from the upper surface or the lower surface of the packaged object at each bending ear of the tubular film having the respective bending ears extending toward the other horizontally extending film. Bending in the height direction of the package and polymerizing Thus, at the other end of the film, an exposed portion is formed on one of the exposed portions of the film where the film is not polymerized, and at the overlapping portion of both films, a horizontal seal is applied over the entire width by a hermetic sealing means. The bent ear portion is bent along the side surface of the packaged object by the ear portion bending means so that a substantially linear bent edge is formed over the entire width on the upper surface side or the lower surface side of the packaged object, The exposed portion of the film welding surface formed at the end of each of the bent ears is bent so as to be in contact with the body of the tubular film at a substantially central position in the width direction on the lower surface side or the upper surface side of the packaged object. The film is bent to the cutout portion where the film welding surface is exposed, and both welding surfaces are heated and welded by heating means.

Prior to forming a one-sided adhesive strip film into a tubular shape, a cutout is formed at one end of the film along the longitudinal direction corresponding to the vertical sealing margin of the film for each packaging length. Thus, in the vertical seal portion of the continuous tubular film formed into a tubular shape that is superimposed in a palm shape, one of the film welding surfaces of the polymerized film is exposed from the cutout portion. At each of the bent ears formed as a margin for folding the tubular film cut to a required length before and after the packaged object in the continuous tubular film, one of the extending ends from the upper surface side or the lower surface side of the packaged material. By bending the film in the height direction of the packaged object toward the other horizontally extending film side, an exposed portion exposing a welding surface where one film is not polymerized is formed at the leading end of the other film. You. Then, by applying a horizontal seal over the entire width to each of the folded ears, the article to be packaged is sealed. In addition, each bent ear portion is bent along the side surface of the packaged object so that a substantially linear bent edge is formed over the entire width on the upper surface side or the lower surface side of the packaged object. The exposed part of the film welding surface formed at the tip of the ear part,
Bending to the notch where the film welding surface of the vertical seal located on the lower or upper surface side of the packaged product is exposed, and heat welding the two welding surfaces together, provides a sense of volume and luxury. A sealed package having the above is obtained.

The packaged object 12 in the cylindrical film F
On both sides before and after, the bent ears 16, 16 extending from the end of the packaged object 12 to the film front end (open end) are bent to the lower surface side of the packaged object 12, and Are set so that the bent ear portions 16 do not overlap each other. The film extending from the lower surface side of the packaged object 12 at each bent ear 16 is formed from the upper surface side of the packaged object 12 such that the portion near the end of the packaged object 12 substantially follows the side surface of the packaged object 12. The film is bent in the height direction toward the horizontally extending film, and the portion from the portion in contact with the upper film to the leading end of the film extends in a state of being overlapped with the upper film. Then, at appropriate positions of the overlapping portions of the upper and lower films of the bent ear portions 16, a horizontal seal portion 18 is formed by performing a horizontal seal over the entire width of the ear portion 16 (see FIG. 6). The package 12 is configured to be in a hermetically sealed state by the seal portion 18 and the vertical seal portion 14. Note that, when the bent ear portion 16 is bent to the lower surface side of the packaged object 12, the horizontal seal portion 18 faces the bent edge portion on the lower surface side or faces the lower surface side. It is preferably formed on the side of the front end of the film polymerization section.

[0012] When the film on the lower surface side of the packaged object 12 is bent, an exposed portion where the welding surface is exposed at the leading end of the film extending horizontally from the upper surface side of the packaged object 12.
(Non-overlapping portion with the lower surface side film) 20 is formed. In addition, a horizontal seal portion 18 is provided on each of the bent ear portions 16.
Before forming the package 12, the film extending from the upper surface side of the packaged object 12 and the film extending from the lower surface side are positioned close to the end of the packaged object 12 as shown in FIG. It is temporarily welded by a spot seal at substantially the center in the width direction, so that the horizontal seal and the folded folds 21 (described later) can be formed more favorably. The temporary welding may be performed at one location or at multiple locations separated in the width direction. Also, at the time of horizontal sealing, each bent ear 16 is
By forming folding folds 21 and 21 which are obliquely folded inward from the lower surface side to the upper surface side of the packaged object 12 on both sides in the width direction, the width of the bent ear portion 16 increases toward the distal end side. It is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape that becomes smaller.

The folding folds 21 are formed by folding the films extending from the lateral sides on both sides in the width direction of the package 12 toward the inside at the height position near the lower surface side of the package 12, thereby forming It may be formed between films extending from the lower surface side. In this case, after the film is folded at a height position closer to the lower surface side of the film, the folded ear portion 16 is located at a position close to the end of the packaged object 12.
By performing temporary welding at substantially the center in the width direction, the bent ear portion 16 is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape in which the width decreases toward the distal end side. Also, by biasing the folding height position toward the lower surface, the trapezoid formed by the lower film is smaller than the trapezoid formed by the upper film with the folding fold interposed therebetween. To be packaged 12
When it is bent to the lower surface side, the trapezoidal film located inside does not protrude outward in the width direction from the trapezoidal film located outside.

In the packaging method of the embodiment, the belt-like film is transferred upward from below with respect to the bag making means, and the overlapping edge along the longitudinal direction is vertically sealed above the article to be packaged. However, a method may be used in which the belt-like film is transferred from above to below with respect to the bag making means, and the overlapping edge along the longitudinal direction is vertically sealed below the article to be packaged.
However, in this case, when there is a distinction between the top and bottom of the packaged object as in the embodiment, while supplying the continuous packaged film with the upper side (front side) of the packaged object facing upward, Each bending ear portion is configured to be bent from the upper side to the lower side in the figure, contrary to the embodiment. Also, the temporary welding of the upper and lower films performed before applying the horizontal seal to each bent ear may be omitted, and one film may be oriented toward the other film by appropriate bending means or hermetic sealing means itself. It is also possible to bend in the direction to provide a horizontal seal. Further, in the embodiment, after the continuous tubular film is cut before and after sandwiching the article, the transport direction of the article is changed by 90 degrees. However, the transport direction of the article is transferred linearly without changing the transport direction. Each step may be performed while performing.

Further, prior to bending each of the bent ears, one of the films extending from the upper surface or the lower surface of the package is folded in the height direction of the package toward the other horizontally extending film. Since the horizontal seal is applied to the overlapped portion of the upper and lower films over the entire width after being bent, it is substantially over the entire width of the bent ear portion on the upper surface or the lower surface facing the film on the other side of the packaged object. This has the advantage that a linear bent edge can be reliably provided, and that a horizontal seal that can seal a packaged object in a sealed state can be reliably performed. In addition, since a substantially linear bent edge is formed over the entire width of the bent ear portion, a sealed package having a high-class feeling, a sense of volume, and the like similar to the packaging form of the conventional square folded packaging can be manufactured. In addition, since both folded ears are provided with a horizontal seal over the entire width, the packaged object can be hermetically sealed together with the vertical seal, preventing foreign substances such as dust and dirt from being mixed. In comparison, the storage period of the packaged item can be set longer.

Next, in the sealed package according to the third aspect and the packaging method according to the sixth aspect, the bent ear portion is formed in a substantially trapezoidal shape whose width decreases toward the tip end side.
When the bent ears are bent to the lower surface side of the article to be packaged, the bent ears do not protrude outward in the width direction of the package, so that the appearance can be improved. In the sealed package according to the fourth aspect and the packaging method according to the eighth aspect, the cutout formed in the vertical seal is configured not to extend to the film edge along the longitudinal direction of the vertical seal. Therefore, in the packaging process, the notch does not catch on various parts during the transfer or bag making of the belt-shaped film, and the transfer or bag making can be performed smoothly. Furthermore, in the sealed package according to the fifth aspect and the packaging method according to the ninth aspect, the notch formed in the vertical seal portion for welding the fold ear portion is formed in both the bent ear portions for each wrapping length. Since there are at least two corresponding holes, the film welding surface exposed from the notch can be reduced,
It is possible to prevent a situation in which the film is welded to the sealer or the like at the time of vertical sealing and the transfer of the film is not stably performed.

In the packaging method according to the seventh aspect, one film extending from the upper surface or the lower surface of the object is bent in the height direction of the object toward the other horizontally extending film. After that, the overlapped portions of both films are temporarily welded, so that the horizontal sealing in the subsequent step can be performed well.
