2. Description of the Related Art In general, a waterproof layer is formed on the rooftop of a building by asphalt or the like, and a pressing concrete is cast on the upper surface of the waterproof layer in order to protect the waterproof layer from direct sunlight and wind and rain. is there. The end of the waterproof layer rises along a body such as a parapet, and the rising portion is protected by a curtain plate such as a flexible board. Further, the upper end of the rising portion is fixed to a jaw-shaped recess provided in a body such as a parapet by a holding metal fitting and is sealed by a sealing material.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional structure, effective protection cannot be expected unless the jaw-shaped concave portion is largely recessed. In other words, if a large overhang is formed on a parapet or the like and the end of the waterproof layer is not positioned on the lower surface of the overhang, rainwater may infiltrate between the end of the waterproof layer and the frame by spraying rainwater or the like. It is easy to cause leakage and corrosion. In addition, in order to form a large overhang, a skilled technique is required for producing a temporary frame and placing concrete. If the overhanging portion is angular, the corner is easily damaged and chamfering is extremely complicated. Further, when the sealing material is deteriorated due to aging, it loses watertightness, soaks in water from a gap with the frame, and reaches the waterproof layer.
Conventionally, closed-cell polyethylene foam generally used as a backup material has no water absorption.
The present invention has been proposed in view of the above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a protection structure for a rising portion of a waterproof layer which is easy to construct without requiring skill and has excellent weather resistance.

The present invention relates to a presser foot 2 having the above-described structure.
Is fixed to the building frame 3 by fastening means, and the waterproof layer 1
Is clamped by the presser fitting 2. The fixing means is, for example, burying anchor members 16 at appropriate intervals in advance, for example, at intervals of 500 mm in the frame 3 such as a parapet, and fixing the anchor members 16 to the anchor members 16 at a height of, for example, about 6 mm. A screw 17 is screwed through a hole (not shown). In addition, a screw through hole 18 of, for example, about 11 mm is formed in the upright portion 8 at a position corresponding to the fixing hole, and the work is performed through the screw through hole 18.

An upper end portion 1a of the waterproof layer 1 is formed by the presser foot 2.
When sandwiching the waterproof layer 1, a gap of about 5 mm is provided between the upper end portion 1a of the waterproof layer 1 and the upper surface of the concave portion 19 provided in the frame 3, and the gap is filled with the coating material 20 and the presser foot 2, the coating material 20 is also applied between the upright portion 6 of the waterproof layer 1 and the upper end portion 1a of the waterproof layer 1 to the extent that it rises slightly, and the presser foot 2 is fixed to bring the coaching material 20 into close contact with the presser foot 2. Prevent rainwater from entering the top of the presser foot 2.

When the fixing of the presser foot 2 is completed, the upright portion 8
Is provided with a water-permeable backup material 5 on the front side. The backup material 5 is made of, for example, a polyethylene foam having open cells in the vertical direction, and allows water absorption and drainage from upper and lower end surfaces, but does not allow water absorption and drainage from the side surfaces. In order to provide such a backup material 5, an adhesive is applied to one surface of the backup material 5, adhered to the upright portion 8, and the upper end surface is brought into contact with the upper surface 19 a of the concave portion 19 provided in the frame 3. . Note that a space may be formed between the lower end surface of the backup material 5 and the bottom surface 7.

The material of the foam used for the backup material 5 as described above is such that the sealing material 4 is filled on the front side of the backup material 5 to form the frame 3 and the presser foot 2.
A polyethylene foam excellent in water resistance was assumed because the direct contact with the outside air and the sunlight was cut off by performing a sealing treatment with the resin and blocking direct sunlight. For example, when a urethane foam is used, it is excellent in weather resistance, but has some disadvantages in terms of water resistance as compared with polyethylene foam.

According to the protection structure of the rising portion of the waterproof layer 1 configured as described above, even if rainwater enters from between the sealing material 4 and the frame 3, the backup material 5 has open cells. As a result, this rainwater falls through open cells by gravity. And the first one established on the bottom part 7
Drained through the through hole 9a. Furthermore, even if the rainwater penetrates deeply beyond the upright portion 8, since the space between the upright portion 8 and the upright portion 6 is a space, the rainwater flows down to the bottom portion 7 and the second through hole 9b Drained from In addition, in the winter season, water that has entered the backup material 5 may freeze and thaw, but since the backup material 5 is formed of a foam, there is no fear of deterioration due to expansion force during freezing.

The rainwater drained from the first through-hole 9a and the second through-hole 9b falls downward. In the illustrated embodiment, however, the rainwater is drained below the two through-holes 9a and 9b. Since the plate 10 extends, the plate 10 falls onto the upper surface of the lower pressing concrete 21 or the cushion material 22 described later without hanging on the waterproof layer 1.

As described above, the present invention has been described with reference to the illustrated embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be appropriately implemented unless the configuration described in the claims is changed. For example, the backup material may be any material as long as it has water permeability. In addition, it is desirable to have water permeability in the vertical direction, because the infiltrated rainwater is quickly disposed below by gravity.

As described above, in summary, the present invention provides a protection structure for a rising portion of a waterproofing layer in which an upper end portion of a waterproofing layer is located in a recess provided in an elevational portion of a building frame. The presser foot that is in close contact with the vertical surface of the skeleton has a vertical surface portion that presses the upper end portion of the waterproof layer, a bottom surface portion that extends at a substantially right angle from near the lower edge of the vertical surface portion, and rises from the bottom surface portion. An upright portion is provided, a through hole is opened in the bottom portion outside the above-mentioned upright portion, the presser foot is fixed to the building frame by fastening means, and the upper end portion of the waterproof layer is sandwiched by the presser foot. In the front side of the standing part, a water-permeable backup material was interposed, and the space between the frame and the presser foot was sealed with a sealing material, so rainwater that had invaded beyond the sealing material, Can be drained down through backup material It is possible to reliably prevent the water from entering the inside of the waterproof layer. In addition, the present invention can be applied to a shallow concave portion of a skeleton that can be easily constructed without requiring skill, so that it is inexpensive, in a short period of time, has excellent weather resistance, and has an effective waterproof layer rising portion.
