(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 前面を方形状に開口した箱形の本体部
と、その本体部の一面を構成する基板の前端から内方に
折り返された弾性接触片とを備え、相手の雄形端子金具
のタブが前記本体部の開口から前記弾性接触片を撓ませ
つつその弾性接触片と弾性的な接触可能に挿入される雌
型端子金具において、 前記本体部の開口における前記弾性接触片の折り返し部
を挟んで横幅方向に対向した一対の側縁のうち一方の側
縁には保護片が延出して設けられ、その保護片の先端が
前記開口の他方の側縁に向けて折り曲げられることで、
前記弾性接触片の折り返し部の前方を覆って保護可能と
されるとともに、前記開口の他方の側縁には、前記保護
片の先端と係合してその保護片が前記タブの挿入方向と
交差する方向に揺動変形するのを規制する規制部が設け
られていることを特徴とする雌型端子金具。
