Description

The present invention relates to an assisting device for assisting walking when using a cane for a handicapped person.

Conventionally, a walking stick has been frequently used. However, when a walking stick is used, a walking aid attached to the walking stick is not found.

In general, the number of people who use canes increases as they get older. In addition, people with physical disabilities, such as disabled people, often use walking sticks. The cane is a stick-shaped article with a grip handle at the top, which is used by gripping it. There are various inconveniences, but one of them is the insufficient height to lift the toes when walking, which tends to cause the footsteps to hit even a small step.
People are looking at their feet when walking, and if they reach a stepped part such as a step when moving from a staircase or a roadway to a sidewalk, they will visually observe the height and carry their feet appropriately. . However, it is easy for a handicapped person to trip over the step because he / she often walks by dragging his / her foot without raising his / her foot even when walking on a smooth road surface.
In order to prevent this, walking training with the feet raised is usually preferred, but there are currently no appropriate means.
In view of the above, it is an object of the present invention to provide a new and useful means that makes it easy to walk because the above training can be performed while using a cane, and because it is conscious of the proposed product during walking. It was invented.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a cane holding plate, which is formed by bending a metal plate having a predetermined thickness. A parallel plane is formed in the vicinity of both ends in the left-right direction, and holes or female screws are engraved.
Reference numeral 2 denotes an insertion plate holder, which is a U-shaped metal plate in plan view, and is provided with upper slits 3 on both sides of the upper portion thereof. A leaf spring 4 is riveted to the insertion plate holder through the hole in the upper portion thereof as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 7, a spring bent portion 5 is formed on the lower portion of the leaf spring. The cane holding plate and the insertion plate holding body each have a hole, and two upper and lower portions are riveted through the hole.
The cane holding body 6 is formed in the above configuration, a pair of the cane holding bodies are provided, holes are formed on both sides of one cane holding body, and female screws are engraved on both sides of the other cane holding body. As shown in FIG. 8, it is fixed to the wand using a screw.

Reference numeral 10 denotes an insertion plate, the upper part of which is bent to form a bent part 11, and a pair of lower slits 12 are provided at the lower part thereof. The gap between the slits is a tongue piece 13, and the lower end of the tongue piece is formed in an arc shape to become an arc portion 14. Further, the middle of the tongue piece portion is formed as a spring contact portion 15 that protrudes at a right angle. Reference numeral 16 denotes a compression coil spring as a flexible body having a predetermined length, and reference numeral 17 denotes a rubber cap fitted on the end of the spring.
The insert 18 is formed from the above insertion plate to the rubber cap.
The above is the embodiment of the present plan.

Next, the use of this plan will be described.
In order to use this plan, first, the cane holding body is fixed to the cane. As described above, a pair of cane holding bodies is fixed using screws as shown in FIG. 8, but usually fixed near the lowermost position of the cane.
Next, it is determined whether the cane is used with the right hand or the left hand, and the insert is inserted into the selected cane holding body. The lower slit of the insertion plate is assigned to the upper slit of the insertion plate holder and moved downward as it is. The upper end of the lower slit is in contact with the lower end of the upper slit so that the lowering after insertion is prevented and the vertical position thereof is determined.
As described above, the insertion plate holder is provided with a plate spring projecting downward and obliquely, and the angle of the plate spring can be changed by its elasticity with respect to the fixed portion. Moreover, it has a spring bending part like FIG. On the other hand, the tongue contact portion of the insertion plate is also provided with a spring contact portion, and the spring bent portion and the spring contact portion are similar in shape.

Therefore, when the insertion plate is lowered, the lower end of the tongue piece first comes into contact with a position above the spring bent portion of the leaf spring. Will change.
Eventually, the protruding portion of the spring bent portion fits into the bent concave portion of the tongue piece portion, that is, the spring contact portion, and the insertion plate is pressed and fixed to the insertion plate holder.
Since the spring bent portion is always urged in the direction of pressing the insertion plate, the insertion plate position with respect to the insertion plate holding body is maintained. Since this insertion plate is provided with a compression coil spring as a flexible body, it protrudes at a right angle to the cane as shown in FIG.

When walking, for example, when the cane is used with the right hand, the flexible body protrudes toward the foot, so the pedestrian walks with the tip of the foot straddling the flexible body. You can walk with your feet raised.
When changing the direction of the flexible body, an upward force is applied by placing a finger on the bent portion 11 at the upper end of the insertion plate.
With this force, the insertion plate changes the leaf spring angle against the spring force, so that the spring contact portion is removed from the spring bent portion, and the insertion plate is moved upward as it is to be detached from the insertion plate holder. Can be made. Thus, since the mutual slit engagement method is used, the movement of the insertion plate in the front-rear and left-right directions with respect to the insertion plate holder is prevented, and the movement in the vertical direction other than the above-described means can be prevented.

Although the present plan has been described above, the present plan has a feature in that a flexible body protrudes in the human body direction with respect to the cane through each member, and a pedestrian visually recognizes this to smoothly carry the toes. It is to make. This plan is detachable from the cane as described above and can be used on either the left or right side. In the example, the compression coil spring is used for the flexible body, but the style shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 is also possible.
In FIG. 11, a rubber tube 20 is used as a flexible body, and equally-spaced narrow slits 21 (removed portions) are provided in the lateral direction of the rubber tube. Since it is easily deformed, it has the same effect as the compression coil spring described above. In FIG. 12, the slit shape is curved, and the rest is the same as the example of FIG. In addition, although the product attachment position is directly above the stone bump rubber cap in the example, it can be attached to this stone bump location by changing the shape of the cane holding plate. Since the arc portion is provided at the lower end of the tongue piece portion, the lowermost end of the arc portion hits the leaf spring first when the tongue piece is lowered, so that the contact with the minute area is made and the angle change of the leaf spring can be facilitated. The initial position of the leaf spring is the position indicated by the two-dot chain line in FIG.
Since the compression coil spring is covered with the rubber cap, the spring end can be protected and the collar end can be easily recognized by using the collar rubber cap.
As described above, an article effective for walking training when using a cane can be obtained according to the present plan.
