2. Description of the Related Art An eaves gutter described in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 1-68439 has a stepped portion extending in the longitudinal direction and inwardly bent near a lower end of a front wall portion of a groove-shaped eaves gutter body. Part. Such eaves gutters have a neat appearance due to the fact that the locations where the steps are formed look like stripes extending in the horizontal direction, and are widely used in recent homes. Further, in such an eaves gutter, the wall portion is made relatively tall in order to have a function as a makeup, and its upper end portion is located rearward so as to cover the groove-shaped space of the eaves gutter body from above. It is often approaching.

In the eaves gutter described above, rainwater that has run down the surface of the front wall portion falls downward due to the drainage action at the tip of the step. For this reason, it is difficult for rainwater to be transmitted to the lower surface of the step, and no black line such as dust is generated.

[0004] In addition, various attempts have been made to drain rainwater flowing down a wall portion on the front side on the wall portion. For example, the eaves gutter described in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 3-79933 has a stepped portion 3 near the lower end of the front wall portion 2 of the eaves gutter main body 1 as shown in FIG. A pointed protruding ridge 4 protrudes downward from a lower surface 31 of the step portion 3 at a corner formed by the portion 3 and the wall portion 2. Also,
The eaves gutter described in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 3-76934 is
As shown in FIG. 9, the lower surface 3 of the step portion 3 provided near the lower end of the front wall portion 2 of the eaves gutter main body 1.
The entirety 1 is inclined upward by an angle θ with respect to the horizontal line H-H to form an inclined surface 31a.

[0005] In the conventional eaves gutter described with reference to FIG. 8, it is unlikely that the rainwater that has fallen along the front wall portion 2 reaches the lower surface 31 of the step portion 3 beyond the ridge 4. Draining is performed by the ridges 4. Further, in the conventional eaves gutter described with reference to FIG. 9, since it is unlikely that rainwater that has fallen along the front wall portion 2 will rise along the inclined surface 31a, the corner portion between the wall portion 2 and the step portion 3 will not occur. At 21 the drain is done.

By the way, in the eaves gutter attached to the eaves, a person often looks up at the eaves gutter. However, the above-mentioned conventional eaves gutter has not only poor decorativeness because the lower surface 31 of the step portion 3 is flat, but also the lower edge or the wall portion 2 of the ridge 4 which is a drainage portion and the step portion 3. Since the corners 21 are locations where dirt is most likely to adhere, the surfaces of those locations are easily soiled. Since a part of this portion is hung on the front side, there is a possibility that when the person looks up from the front lower side, the above-mentioned protruding ridges 4 and the corner portions 21 may be seen and felt dirty.

According to the first and second aspects of the present invention, when the eaves gutter is looked up from below, the recessed portion of the step portion looks like a stripe extending laterally. In addition, since the draining portion that is easily contaminated is on the lower surface of the stepped portion that appears to be obscured, the contaminants are less likely to be conspicuous by overlapping with the shadow (shadow). Also, the concave stripes are useful for increasing the rigidity of the eaves gutter body.

FIG. 1 is a side view of an eaves gutter according to an embodiment of the present invention. In this eave gutter, the eave gutter main body 1 includes a bottom wall 5, a front wall portion (hereinafter, referred to as a front wall) 2 raised from the bottom wall 5, and a rear wall portion (hereinafter, referred to as a rear wall). And 6) are formed of a long, synthetic resin molded article having a groove shape. A predetermined portion in the height direction of the front wall 2 (preferably a portion lower than 1 / of the height) is bent backward to form a stepped portion 3, and in the front wall 2, A lower portion 20 of the front wall below the step portion 3 projects slightly forward, and the lower portion 20 of the front wall is smoothly connected to the bottom wall 5 via the curved portion 22. Such a front wall 2 is taller than the rear wall 6, and has an upper end that projects rearward so as to cover the grooved space 11 of the eaves gutter main body 1 from above. By having such a shape, the function for cosmetics is enhanced.
The step portion 3 is formed to descend rearward, and the lower surface 31 is inclined to descend rearward. Further, the eaves gutter main body 1 is recessed upward from the lower surface 31 in a predetermined position in the width direction (front-back direction of the eaves gutter) W, specifically, an intermediate portion in the width direction W.
Has a concave stripe 33 extending in the longitudinal direction. In the eaves gutter of the illustrated example, the concave stripes 33 are provided on the front side of the frontmost part 23 of the lower part 20 of the front wall. The thickness of the step portion 3 is ensured at the location where the concave streak 33 is formed, to the same extent as at other locations. Note that ear edges 71 and 72 are provided at the upper end of the front wall 2 and the upper end of the rear wall 6, respectively.

With the above configuration, the rainwater that has passed down the surface of the front wall 2 reaches the inclined lower surface 31 of the step 3 through the corner 21 formed by the front wall 2 and the step 3. However, since the lower surface 31 of the step portion 3 is provided with the concave ridge 33 that is recessed upward from the lower surface 31, the rainwater that has reached the lower surface 31 of the step portion 3 via the corner portion 21 is not covered by the concave portion. It is unlikely that Article 33 will be exceeded.
For this reason, drainage is performed by the concave stripes 33, and rainwater falls without passing through the concave stripes 33. Since the concave stripes 33 are provided on the front side of the frontmost portion 23 of the lower part 20 of the front wall, the rainwater that has fallen falls to the ground without hitting the lower part 20 of the front wall.

According to the eaves gutter described with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5, the rainwater that has fallen down the surface of the front wall 2 passes through the corner portion 21 formed by the step portion 3 and the front wall 2, and the step portion 3. Although the rain water reaches the inclined lower surface 31, the rainwater is drained and falls without passing through the frontmost concave streak 33. Further, since the concave stripes 33 are provided at a plurality of locations at predetermined intervals, even when a large amount of rainwater reaches the lower surface 31 of the stepped portion 3, the draining action is repeatedly performed by the individual concave stripes 33. The rainwater will not be able to reach the surface of the curved portion 22 of the front wall 2.

FIG. 6 is a side view of an embodiment of the eaves gutter according to the first aspect. In the eaves gutter of this embodiment, the step portion 3 is made almost horizontal, and a concave stripe 33 is provided in the middle in the width direction W. Other structures of the eaves gutter are formed substantially in the same manner as described with reference to FIG. According to the eaves gutter of this embodiment, the rainwater that has fallen along the surface of the front wall 2 partially falls at the corner 21 and the remaining rainwater reaches the lower surface 31, but the rainwater does not climb over the concave stripe 33. Is drained and falls.

In each of the embodiments described with reference to FIGS.
When the eaves gutter is looked up from below, the concave stripes 33 of the step portion 3 look like stripes extending sideways.
The decorativeness is thereby exhibited, and furthermore, the draining portion that is easily soiled, that is, the front end of the concave streak 33 becomes the lower surface 31 of the step portion 3, so that the step portion 3 is shaded, so that the dirt is less noticeable, and they are synergistic. Thus, there is an advantage that an appearance having a high design property can be obtained. Since the concave stripe 33 in FIG. 3 is located at the rear end of the stepped portion 3, even if the draining point, that is, the front end of the concave stripe 33 is dirty, it is less noticeable. Also, the concave stripe 33
Also function as reinforcing ribs, which also helps to increase the rigidity of the eaves gutter main body 1.

FIG. 7 is a side view showing a main part of an embodiment of the eaves gutter according to the third aspect. In the eaves gutter according to this embodiment, a curved lower portion 30 having a shape in which a front lower wall portion 37 curved downward and a rear lower wall portion 38 curved upward and rearward at a predetermined position of the front wall 2 is smoothly continuous. Is provided between the lower rear wall portion 38 of the curved step portion 30 and the lower portion 20 of the front wall 2 connected to the rear edge of the curved step portion 30 at the lower surface 31 of the curved step portion 30. A recess 39 is provided which is recessed upward from the lower side. The other parts of the eaves gutter are formed in the same manner as described with reference to FIG.

According to the eaves gutter described with reference to FIG. 7, after the rainwater that has run down the front wall 2 has run down the surface of the front lower wall portion 37 of the curved step portion 30, the surface of the rear lower wall portion 38 has to be cleaned. Since it is unlikely that the water will travel up, the drainage is made by the recess 39 that is recessed upward from the lowermost portion (indicated by the symbol L) on the lower surface 31 of the curved step portion 30, and the rainwater passes over the recess 39. Without falling.

According to the eaves gutter having the structure described in the first and second aspects, the concave streak provided on the step portion looks like a stripe extending horizontally, and exhibits decorativeness. Since the rainwater flowing down the portion is drained by the lower surface of the step portion, dirt at the drained portion, that is, the front end of the concave streak is shaded by the step portion and becomes less noticeable. Therefore, there is an effect that the appearance when a person looks up at the eaves gutter from below is not easily damaged by dirt. In addition, there is an effect that the concave stripe is useful for increasing the rigidity of the eaves gutter main body.
