As another decorative board having another structure, as shown in FIG. 7, an edge of a low-quality solid material 106 is processed by a router to form a curved surface portion 107, and the curved surface portion 7 and the front and back flat surfaces are formed. In the transfer area TA divided into three portions 108 and 108, the curved transfer layer 109 and the flat transfer layer 1
Although there is a case in which 10,110 are formed by transfer printing and the surface thereof is coated with urethane, the transfer step has to be repeated three times, and the number of processing steps is large and the cost is high.

In the manufacturing method, a substrate manufacturing step of bonding a decorative plywood on both sides of a flash-processed core material, which is a step of manufacturing a normal decorative composite board, can be used as it is. At least one edge of the substrate including the decorative surface of the decorative plywood is formed into a desired edge shape by an edge processing step of forming a curved surface by router processing, and then a cutting edge of the curved surface and the decorative surface is formed by a transfer printing process. When a transfer layer having a color or a pattern similar to the decorative surface is formed so as to cover the portion, the number of steps is reduced because the time-consuming transfer printing process is required only once, and finally, a normal decorative composite board is manufactured. In the same manner as the final step in the case, a surface treatment step of forming a protective film layer by applying a transparent or translucent paint or clear on the transfer layer and the decorative surface is performed.

In order to manufacture the decorative composite board A having a curved edge according to the present invention, first, as in the case of manufacturing a normal decorative composite board, the decorative plywood 2 and 2 are provided on both the front and back sides of the flash-processed core material 1. Is manufactured (substrate manufacturing process). Here, as the core material 1, a medium fiber board (MDF), a particle board or a plywood frame formed can be used, but it is preferable to use a medium fiber board in view of the denseness of the processed surface. The substrate A1 manufactured in this manner is extremely lightweight because the inside is hollow. Further, the decorative plywood 2 of the present embodiment is obtained by bonding a printing paper 4 on which a color or a pattern is printed on the surface of a thin plate 3 made of plywood, and is called a so-called printed plywood or a printed paper-bonded plywood. Has a decorative surface 5 formed thereon. Further, as other examples of the decorative plywood 2, natural wooden decorative plywood, polyester plywood, or the like can be used. Further, in place of the decorative plywood 2, it is also possible to use a decorative plate made of a synthetic resin such as a melamine resin.

Next, at the desired edge of the substrate A1,
At least one edge of the substrate A1 including the decorative surface 5 of the decorative plywood 2 is router-processed to form a curved surface portion 6 (end processing step). Here, in the illustrated example, a semicircular curved surface portion 6 is formed in the cross section of the substrate A1. Even if the curved surface portion 6 is formed at a linear edge in plan view, it is formed at a curved edge. May be.

Then, a transfer layer 7 having a color or pattern similar to the decorative surface 5 is formed so as to cover the curved surface portion 6 and the cut edge of the decorative surface 5 (transfer printing step). In FIG. 1B, the area of the decorative surface 5 is indicated by a decorative area PA, the area of the transfer layer 7 is indicated by a transfer area TA, and both areas overlap with each other at the cutting edge of the decorative surface 5. . This transfer method can adopt a conventionally known method. For example, a transfer sheet having a transfer layer printed on the surface of a release sheet is applied to the curved surface portion 6 by a roller or the like in a state where an adhesive is applied to the surface of the transfer layer. This is a method in which the transfer layer is adhered by pressing, and then the release sheet is peeled off.

Then, a transparent or translucent paint or clear is applied on the transfer layer 7 and the decorative surface 5 to form a protective film layer 8 (surface treatment step). Here, the protective film layer 8
May be formed on the entire surface of the transfer layer 7 and the decorative surface 5. However, when a protective film is previously formed on the decorative surface 5 as the decorative plywood 2, the transfer layer 7 and the transfer layer 7 Alternatively, it may be formed at the edge of the decorative surface 5 in contact with. The protective film layer 8 is formed by applying a paint such as a urethane resin or a melamine resin, or a clear material, and then drying. This protective film layer 8
Is formed, the step between the end of the transfer layer 7 and the decorative surface 5 is filled or the step is smoothly continuous. FIG. 1 (c) shows a decorative composite plate A having a curved edge manufactured in this manner.

According to the first aspect, a decorative surface is formed by bonding a decorative plywood, a decorative plate, or a veneer on both sides of the core material, and at least one edge including the decorative surface is processed by a router to form a curved surface portion. Since a transfer layer having a color or pattern similar to the decorative surface was formed by transfer printing,
The entire surface, including the curved surface, is decorated with wood grain, etc., so that the appearance can be harmonized, and the shape can be reduced to make it warm and used as a partition for furniture such as shelves. If so, it is possible to make the furniture softer overall. Further, since the core material does not need to use a solid material, it can be provided at a low cost.
