Claims (39)
- 熱制御型デバイス(HCD:heat controlled device)でのエネルギー使用を低減するためのシステムにおいて、
a.透過性調節デバイス(TAD:transparency adjustment device)であって、
(i)電気的振る舞いが容量性負荷のそれである透過性物理的要素と、
(ii)AC電流を前記透過性物理的要素へ提供して不透過と完全透過の間の透過性状態のセットを生成させるように作動するパワーディマー装置と、を備える透過性調節デバイス(TAD)と、
b.熱制御デバイスであって、(i)壁に囲まれた閉鎖された空洞と、(ii)前記空洞の中の温度を制御するように適合されている温度計と、を備える熱制御デバイスと、を備えており、
前記TADが、前記空洞壁の少なくとも一部分に埋め込まれており、更に、前記TADが、前記空洞を開くことなく当該空洞の内容物を見えるようにすることによって前記温度計エネルギー消費を低減している、システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記透過性物理的要素が液晶(LC)フィルムを備えている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記透過性状態のセットが更に完全に透けている状態を含んでいる、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記負荷が複合キャパシタ/抵抗器負荷を備えている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記パワーディマー装置が、前記負荷にパワー供給するパワースイッチと、前記パワースイッチを制御して選択可能にオンにしたりオフにしたりする制御回路と、を備えている、システム。
- 請求項5に記載のシステムにおいて、前記負荷を駆動するために、当該負荷へ印加される出力電圧はAC電圧を備えており、よってDC電圧は、たとえあったとしても、せいぜいAC電圧の量の0.5%である、システム。
- 請求項5に記載のシステムにおいて、前記パワースイッチが前記負荷と直列に接続されている、システム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記パワースイッチが、前記LCフィルムと直列に接続されている一対の反直列MOSFETスイッチを備えている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記パワースイッチが、ダイオードブリッジと、前記ダイオードブリッジを介して前記負荷と直列に接続されているMOSFETスイッチと、を備えている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記負荷へ印加されるAC電圧が擬似台形形態をしている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記負荷へ印加されるAC電圧が円錐台正弦波形態を有している、システム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記液晶フィルムがガラス物体の中へラミネート加工されており、それにより前記ガラス物体の透過性が制御されるようになっている、システム。
- 請求項12に記載のシステムにおいて、前記ガラス物体が、窓ペイン、窓、ガラス扉ペイン、及びガラス扉、のうちの1つを形成している、システム。
- 請求項5に記載のシステムにおいて、前記負荷へ印加されるAC電圧が、前記制御回路によって確定された電圧レベルに切頭されている円錐台正弦波形態を有していて、前記パワースイッチを介して印加されている、システム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記液晶フィルムについて最大定格電圧レベルが定義されており、前記パワーディマー装置は前記液晶フィルムの前記最大定格電圧レベルを超えない既定の最大電圧レベルを有している、システム。
- 請求項5に記載のシステムにおいて、前記パワースイッチがゲートを備える入力点を有しており、前記制御回路は前記パワースイッチの前記入力点を制御するドライバ回路を介して当該パワースイッチへ接続されている、システム。
- 請求項5に記載のシステムにおいて、前記制御回路が、入来AC電圧レベルとユーザー選択基準電圧を受信し比較するように作動し且つ前記入来AC電圧レベルが前記ユーザー選択基準電圧に達しているときには前記負荷へ印加される正弦波AC電圧の切頭をトリガする出力を生成するように作動する比較器を含んでいる、システム。
- 請求項16に記載のシステムにおいて、前記制御回路が絶縁回路を介して前記ドライバ回路へ接続されている、システム。
- 請求項4に記載のシステムであって、更に、前記複合負荷に並列に配置されていて当該複合負荷へ印加されるAC電圧を増加させるように作動するキャパシタを備えている、システム。
- 請求項5に記載のシステムであって、更に、ZVC(ゼロ電圧クロッシング)予測回路構成を備えているシステムにおいて、前記ZVC(ゼロ電圧クロッシング)予測回路構成によってゼロか又はせいぜい既定の小レベル未満の電圧の存在が前記パワースイッチを跨いで呈せられると予測されない限り前記パワースイッチがオンにされない、システム。
- 請求項20に記載のシステムにおいて、前記ZVC(ゼロ電圧クロッシング)予測回路構成は「浮動」期間中のLC電圧が変化しないものと仮定している、システム。
- 請求項5に記載のシステムであって、更に、前記パワースイッチを跨いで接続されているZVC(ゼロ電圧クロッシング)検出回路構成を備えているシステムにおいて、前記ZVC検出回路構成によって前記パワースイッチを跨いで電圧があったとしても非常に小さい電圧しかないことが検出されない限り当該パワースイッチはオンにされない、システム。
- 請求項20に記載のシステムであって、前記ZVC検出回路構成が、前記パワースイッチの端子P−VDD1及び端子LC−VDD1を跨ぐ正弦入力電圧の正負半周期をそれぞれ測定するように作動する、システム。
- 請求項22に記載のシステムにおいて、前記容量性負荷が、複合キャパシタ/抵抗器負荷を備えており、前記システムは更に前記複合容量性/抵抗性負荷に並列にキャパシタを備えている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記パワーディマー装置がユーザーによって手動で制御可能である、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記パワーディマー装置がPC又はスマートホームシステムの様なコンピューター化されたシステムによって制御可能である、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記空洞が、冷蔵庫、オーブン、ボイラー、電子レンジ、エンジン、から成る群から選択されている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記空洞が追加的に扉を備えている、システム。
- 請求項28に記載のシステムにおいて、前記扉が追加的に封止ゴムを備えている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記TADが前記空洞壁の異なった場所に埋め込まれている、システム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記TADが前記空洞壁に沿って可動である、システム。
- 熱制御型デバイス(HCD:heat controlled device)でのエネルギー使用を低減するためのシステムにおいて、
a.透過性調節デバイス(TAD:transparency adjustment device)であって、
(i)電気的振る舞いが容量性負荷のそれである透過性物理的要素と、
(ii)AC電流を前記透過性物理的要素へ提供して不透過と完全透過の間の透過性状態のセットを生成させるように作動するパワーディマー装置と、を備える透過性調節デバイス(TAD)と、
b.熱制御デバイスであって、(i)封止手段を有するシールを備える壁に囲まれた空洞と、(ii)前記空洞の中の温度を制御するように適合されている温度計と、を備える熱制御デバイスと、を備えており、
前記TADが、前記空洞壁の少なくとも一部分に埋め込まれており、更に、前記TADが、前記空洞を開くことなく当該空洞の内容物を見えるようにすることによって前記封止手段の腐食を低減している、システム。 - 閉鎖された空洞を遮光するためのシステムにおいて、
a.透過性調節デバイス(TAD)を少なくとも部分的に備える少なくとも1つの表面であって、当該TADは、
(i)電気的振る舞いが容量性負荷のそれである透過性物理的要素と、
(ii)AC電流を前記透過性物理的要素へ提供して不透過と完全透過の間の透過性状態のセットを生成させるように作動するパワーディマー装置と、を備えている、透過性調節デバイス(TAD)を少なくとも部分的に備える少なくとも1つの表面と、
b.空洞であって、(i)当該空洞の内部と(ii)当該空洞の外部の間の少なくとも1つの表面バファリングを備える空洞と、を備えており、
前記パワーディマーが、前記透過性物理的要素の透過性状態の変化によって前記空洞の遮光を制御している、システム。 - 請求項33に記載のシステムにおいて、前記空洞が、自動車、トラック、航空機、エレベータ、列車、バス、及び船艇、から成る群から選択されている、システム。
- 請求項33に記載のシステムにおいて、前記TADが、前記自動車の窓、サンルーフ、及びそれらの組合せ、から成る群から選択された表面に埋め込まれている、システム。
- 共用部屋でのプライバシーを提供するためのシステムにおいて、
a.Nを1より大きい整数として複数のN個の空間と、
b.複数のN−1個の透過性調節デバイス(TAD)であって、
(i)電気的振る舞いが容量性負荷のそれである透過性物理的要素と、
(ii)AC電流を前記透過性物理的要素へ提供して不透過と完全透過の間の透過性状態のセットを生成させるように作動するパワーディマー装置と、を備える透過性調節デバイス(TAD)と、を備えており、
前記N−1個のTADのそれぞれが幾つかの前記個人空間同士を分離している、システム。 - 照明システムの隠蔽のためのシステムにおいて、
a.少なくとも1つの表面であって、N個のパラメータによって特徴付けられていて、当該N個のパラメータのうちの少なくとも1つは透過性パラメータである、少なくとも1つの表面と、
b.前記少なくとも1つの第1の表面の中へ陥凹式に嵌め込まれている照明システムと、
c.少なくとも1つの透過性調節デバイス(TAD)であって、
(i)電気的振る舞いが容量性負荷のそれである透過性物理的要素と、
(ii)AC電流を前記透過性物理的要素へ提供して不透過と完全透過の間の透過性状態のセットを生成させるように作動するパワーディマー装置と、を備え、
当該TADは前記照明システムを覆うように構成されている、その様な透過性調節デバイス(TAD)と、を備えており、
前記TADが前記照明システムの作動と同期して透過状態になるように構成されている、システム。 - 画像と動的に相互作用する画面において、
構造化された層に構築されている複数のN個の透過性調節デバイス(TAD)であって、当該TADは、
(i)電気的振る舞いが容量性負荷のそれである透過性物理的要素と、
(ii)AC電流を前記透過性物理的要素へ提供して不透過と完全透過の間の透過性状態のセットを生成させるように作動するパワーディマー装置と、を備え、
当該TADのそれぞれは、色によって特徴付けられている、その様な複数のN個の透過性調節デバイス(TAD)を備えており、
前記層のそれぞれが独立に異なった透過性状態へ構成されるように適合されており、それにより、画面は当該画面に投影される画像の所定部分を転写するように適合されている、画面。 - 投影画像と実物体を重畳するための画面において、
構造化された層に構築されている透過性調節デバイス(TAD)であって、当該TADは、
(i)電気的振る舞いが容量性負荷のそれである透過性物理的要素と、
(ii)AC電流を前記透過性物理的要素へ提供して不透過と完全透過の間の透過性状態のセットを生成させるように作動するパワーディマー装置と、を備え、
当該TADは投影機と物体との間に配設されている、その様なTAD、を備えており、
前記TADが、前記投影機によって当該TADに投影される画像を少なくとも部分的に転写するように構成されており、それにより、前記画像と前記物体が重畳される、画面。
