(2)実施例1、2のポール保持部2は開口部2aを有しているが、この開口部2aは必ずしも必要ない。ポール保持部2を円筒状又は半円筒状として、測量用ポール3を上部から差し込むようにしても良い。そうした場合、測量用ポール3の一部が隠れて見えなくならないように、ポール保持部2の少なくとも正面側を透明にしても良い。
(3)実施例1、2のポール保持部2の背面側には、その中央部にねじ5によって連結される略コの字状の延出部6が設けられているが、この延出部6は略コの字状である必要はない。単なる板状のものとして、2枚の板状部4a、4b又は2枚の板状部14a、14bの間に嵌入し、ボルト等の手段により固定しても良い。
(4)実施例1、2のポール保持部2は、脚頭1a、11aに対して上下に回動可能としているが、上下左右に回動可能なものとしても良い。
そのためには、突出部4、14を脚頭1a、11aにねじ止めする等して左右に回動できるように固定すれば良い。その場合も、突出部4、14を脚頭1a、11aに対して左右方向に回動させるためにはある程度の力を必要とし、一旦回動を止めた後においては突出部4、14と脚頭1a、11aの位置関係が簡単には変わらないようにする。
(5)実施例1、2のポール保持部2は、脚頭1a、11aに対して上下に回動可能とするために、延出部6を突出部4、14にボルト等の手段により固定し、背面と垂直な軸の周りに回動可能とするために、背面側の中央部と略コの字状の延出部6をねじ5によって連結しているが、ポール保持部2の背面側に固定的な延出部を設けるとともに、その延出部の端部と突出部4、14の正面部又は脚頭1a、11aの正面部をユニバーサルジョイントで接続して、上下左右及び背面と垂直な軸の周りに回動可能なものとしても良い。その場合も、ポール保持部2を脚頭1a、11aに対して各方向に回動させるためにはある程度の力を必要とし、一旦回動を止めた後においてはポール保持部2と脚頭1a、11aの位置関係が簡単には変わらないようにする。
(6)実施例1の脚頭1aとポール保持部2及び実施例2の脚頭11aとポール保持部2は、ポール保持部2の背面から延びる延出部6を利用して、脚頭1a、11aに対して上下に回動可能及び背面と垂直な軸の周りに回動可能としているが、脚頭1a、11aの上面又は側面から正面側に延びる支持部を設け、その支持部の端部にポール保持部の背面を実施例1及び2と同様の動きができるように取り付けても良い。
さらに、その支持部の端部とポール保持部の背面とを接続した場合の動きとしては、実施例1及び2と同様の動きに限らず、上記変形例(4)と同じく、ポール保持部2を脚頭1a、11aに対して左右にも回動可能なものとしても良いし、上記変形例(5)と同じく、支持部の端部とポール保持部2の背面をユニバーサルジョイントで接続して、ポール保持部2を脚頭1a、11aに対して上下左右及び背面と垂直な軸の周りに回動可能なものとしても良い。
(7)実施例1、2においては、ポール保持部2を脚頭1a、11aに対して各方向に回動させるのにある程度の力が必要となるために、ポール保持部2と延出部6をねじ5で締め付け、突出部4、14と延出部6をボルト等で締め付けているが、ねじ5やボルト等で締め付ける代わりに、凹凸のある部材同士を噛み合わせたクリック機構を用いても良い。
ユニバーサルジョイントで接続した場合も、ボール状のジョイント部外壁と球形の空洞を有するケーシングの内壁に同じピッチで凹凸を形成して噛み合せたクリック機構を用いても良い。
