Description
The present invention relates to handcrafted hand-woven products, and more particularly to a woven fabric that has excellent shape retention and is suitable for use in various interior products.
In general, a woven fabric formed by weaving a plurality of warps extending in a substantially warp direction and a weft extending in a substantially weft direction is configured as a flat sheet-like cloth. The woven fabric is often used as indoor interior such as vase, wall hanging, table, etc., taking advantage of its planar sheet shape. Among such woven fabrics, hand-woven fabrics, in particular, are one-of-a-kind products, and are considered to be an important craft item for the owner.
However, since the shape of a single woven fabric cannot be instantaneously changed and held, the usage can be limited to monotonous applications such as vase, wall hanging, and table laying that can be used in a plane. In order to use the cloth three-dimensionally, there is a problem that it takes time and effort to form and sew it into various shapes intended by the creator. Further, as a characteristic of the woven fabric, for example, when a square thing is formed into a rhombus and is fixed to a wall with a pin, there is a problem that the shape is apt to be deformed, such as being distorted or wrinkled. Furthermore, since many woven fabrics are soft, when storing woven fabrics, it is common to fold them and store them in a drawer or the like. It is difficult to store it in the box.
Therefore, in order to solve the above-described problem, Patent Document 1 discloses that a polyolefin-based linear body is used by being disposed on a side edge of a decorative ribbon or a part of a woven yarn along the length direction. There has been proposed a decorative ribbon that can be deformed in any direction and retains the folded state.
However, any of the above-described prior arts only has a core body for maintaining the shape of the woven fabric only in the length direction or the warp direction, so that the troublesomeness during processing and the shape of the woven fabric are changed. We have not yet solved all the problems of shape distortion such as distortion and wrinkles later, and the problem of softness.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a woven fabric that solves the above-mentioned problems. Specifically, not only can a single woven fabric be used as a conventional monotonous application, but also the shape can be easily deformed without trouble, and the shape can be maintained as it is being deformed. For example, it can be used for various applications including three-dimensional shapes such as accessory cases, eyeglass holders, paper stands, etc. An object of the present invention is to provide a woven fabric that can be stood and stored in a sheet-like state.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention according to claim 1 is a woven fabric in which a plurality of warps extending in a substantially warp direction and a plurality of wefts extending in a substantially weft direction are woven, and a peripheral portion of the woven fabric. And a shape-retaining material that is a plastically deformable wire.
The present invention according to
The present invention according to claim 3 is the woven fabric according to
The present invention according to claim 4 is the woven fabric according to
The present invention has the following effects.
(1) Since the woven fabric has a shape-retaining material that is a plastically deformable wire around its periphery, the shape can be easily changed from a flat shape to a three-dimensional shape according to the application without any hassle. It is possible to keep the shape as it is deformed.
(2) Since the shape-retaining material is woven together with the warp or weft in at least one of the warp direction and the weft direction in addition to the peripheral portion, it becomes somewhat unstable when changing the shape of the cloth. Even in the case of a weaving method that is insufficient in thickness and fastness, it is possible to easily change the shape according to the application and maintain the shape from a flat shape to a three-dimensional shape without taking time and effort. Make it possible.
(3) The shape-retaining material is a wire selected from the group consisting of a metal wire, a metal wire coated with vinyl, and a linear object formed into a fibrous shape with a synthetic resin, so use a special hand loom. Without using a conventional hand loom, the woven fabric can be woven.
(4) The warp yarn and the weft yarn are yarns selected from the group consisting of hemp yarn, cotton yarn, wool yarn, tear cloth and synthetic fiber yarn, so that the effects of the present invention can be further exhibited. .
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out a woven fabric according to the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
Next, a second embodiment of the woven fabric according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 5 is a front view showing the front side for explaining the configuration of the second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line BB of FIG. 5 for explaining the configuration of the second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. The difference between the first embodiment and the second embodiment is that the
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, when weaving the woven

Next, with reference to FIGS. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, a method for manufacturing the woven
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the woven

The first stage of weaving is woven without passing the

Since the subsequent processes are common to both the first and second embodiments of the present invention, only the first embodiment will be described, and the manufacturing process of the second embodiment will be omitted.

The woven fabric, which is a hand-woven product, seems to be an important craft item for the owner, but it can be used for a variety of purposes, and the user's subjective effect is also added to the design. And its value is thought to be many times. In addition, by freely changing the appearance from a flat shape to a three-dimensional shape while preserving the inherent softness and warmth of hand-woven fabrics, the application has been diversified to dispel existing concepts for woven fabrics. A lot of work can be expected.
