Description

The present invention relates to a wooden frame used in a building.

A conventional wooden frame has to be provided with a load bearing wall, bracing, or a cane in order to give the frame a strength to resist horizontal loads caused by earthquakes and winds.

However, when a frame using a bearing wall or bracing is used, it is necessary to arrange the bearing wall or bracing inside or outside the building in a well-balanced manner so that the center of gravity of the building and the rigid center are not greatly separated. For this reason, it is difficult to make a plane plan with no walls at all inside the building, which is inconvenient when using the building as a garage or warehouse.
In addition, in the case of a cane or the like, it is necessary to make the cross-section of the component sufficiently large in order to give sufficient strength, so that the material tends to be excessive and inconvenient.

Therefore, the present invention devised a wooden framework in which a reinforcing member is provided between the top of the climbing beam 2 constituting the framework and the portion separated from the top of the column 1 by a predetermined distance.

With the configuration as described above, a wooden frame having sufficient resistance against horizontal force caused by an earthquake or wind can be provided without providing a bearing wall, bracing, or a cane in the direction between the beams of the frame.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
(A) FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a wooden frame according to the present invention.
(B) The wooden frame is arranged between a pair of pillars 1 and a pair of climbing beams 2 composed of two thick plates, and a portion at a predetermined distance from the top of the climbing beam. The reinforcing member 3 is used.
(C) The reinforcing member 3 may be made of metal, plastic, or the like having an appropriate strength instead of a wooden object.
(D) FIG. 2 is a view for showing a joint structure of the pillar 1, the climbing beam 2 and the reinforcing material 3.
(E) The column 1 and the climbing beam 2 and the reinforcing material 3 are joined by sandwiching the climbing beam 2 and the reinforcing material 3 with the column 1 constituted by two thick plates, and using a joining tool such as a wood screw 5 or a nail. Are joined together.
(F) By adopting such a joining method, it is possible to secure a sufficient joining strength against the stress generated in the reinforcing material 3 without using specialized skills or special joining tools.
(G) FIG. 3 is a view for showing a joint structure between the top of the climbing beam 2 and the top of the reinforcing material 3.
(H) The top of the climbing beam 2 and the top of the reinforcing member 3 are sandwiched with structural plywood or metal attachment plates 4 on both sides, and are joined with wood screws 5 or nails, etc. Is secured.
(L) FIG. 4 is a view showing the structure of the lower end of the pillar.
(N) The lower end of the pillar is provided with a spacer 6 having the same thickness as that of the climbing beam and the reinforcing member so that the pillar 1 composed of two thick plates is structurally integrated. Or join with nails.
(L) Since the triangles facing each other are formed by the upper part of the pillar 1, the climbing beam 2 and the reinforcing material 3 and the lower end of the reinforcing material 3 is joined to the middle part of the pillar 1, the horizontal force due to the earthquake or wind is a framework. Even when acting on the joints, each joint portion does not cause rotational deformation and constitutes a framework having sufficient proof strength against horizontal force.
(W) Further, by constituting the column 1 with two thick plates, it is possible to increase the bending strength of the column 1 on which the largest bending stress acts during vertical force load and horizontal force load. .
(W) FIG. 5 shows an example in which the present invention is used for a carport.
(F) According to the present invention, even in a building such as a carport where a bracing and a bearing wall cannot be arranged in the beam-to-beam direction, it can have a sufficient structural resistance against a horizontal force caused by an earthquake or wind.
