これに対して、本願考案者は、以下の（１）固定嵌合と（２）回転嵌合の間、すなわち、時計ケースと取付部材（雄パーツ）は回転し、取付部材（雄パーツ）と皮革バンドは完全固定又は半固定状態に取り付けることを目的として、本願考案を完成するに至った。
（１）固定嵌合：皮革バンドを時計ケースに対して回転不可能に取り付ける状態（回転を完全に規制する状態）

第２の考案は、皮革バンドのエンドピース部に埋め込まれる雌パーツを備え、当該雌パーツは、雄パーツの凸部を嵌合する皮革バンドの凹部を形成するための切欠部を備えたことを特徴とする同皮革バンド用取付部材である。

（３）そして、雄パーツを介して皮革バンドを時計ケースに対して回転状態に取り付けることができる一方で、皮革バンドは雄パーツと完全固定又は半固定状態であるために、皮革バンドと時計ケースに一体感を与え、回転嵌合の場合のように美感を損ねることなく、また、固定嵌合の場合のように装着性・フィット性を損ねることがなく、バランスの取れた皮革バンドを提供できる。 The above device has the following effects.
