2. Description of the Related Art In the production of livestock such as calves, piglets, and goats and the rearing of other young animals, it is widely practiced to feed artificially produced milk substitutes for rearing. .
This milk replacer is mainly composed of milk components such as skim milk powder, dried whey, etc., and fats and oils, sugars, cereals, fish meal,
It is prepared by dissolving or emulsifying and dispersing a milk replacer composition prepared by blending vitamins, minerals, antibiotics and the like in water or warm water. This milk replacer composition has a high caloric value as a feed to replace breast milk or milk, etc., and in terms of quality, each nutrient is efficiently absorbed and used, and does not cause indigestion such as diarrhea, and in water or hot water. It is necessary to dissolve or disperse satisfactorily so that separation of components does not occur, and it is further required that the cost is low.

[0003] Conventionally, the fat content of a milk replacer composition has been increased to increase the caloric content of the milk replacer, to improve the solubility and dispersibility in water or warm water, and to improve digestion and absorption. Milk substitute compositions using various emulsifiers have been proposed. For example, milk powder substitutes containing homogenized fats and oils added with a polyoxyethylene derivative of castor oil or hydrogenated castor oil or a sorbitan fatty acid ester ( JP-A-55-135545), milk substitute for livestock using a hydrophilic sucrose fatty acid ester and a lipophilic sucrose fatty acid ester as emulsifiers (JP-A-49-41162),
Milk powder for animal substitutes containing sucrose fatty acid ester, lecithin and fats and oils (Japanese Patent Publication No. 46-5005), milk substitute for young mammals containing sugar alcohol fatty acid ester (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 58-60943) Milk substitute containing polyglycerin fatty acid ester (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 58-60 / 1983)
No. 942) is known.

[0004] However, increasing the content of fats and oils and improving the solubility are technically incompatible with each other, and increasing the content of fats and oils in a milk replacer composition generally leads to a problem. The solubility and dispersibility in water and hot water decrease. For this reason, in the above-mentioned conventional powdery milk substitute composition, the fat and oil content is usually at most about 15 to 18% by weight even at a high level, and cannot be more than 20% by weight. With a higher fat content, the fat globules become larger in diameter when dissolved or dispersed in water or warm water and diluted, resulting in poor stability and separation of fats and oils, and poor digestive and absorptive properties. It was a cause of the occurrence of diarrhea and the like in young animals such as livestock. Further, in the granulation of the milk replacer composition, conventionally, spray drying at a high temperature of about 120 ° C. has been widely and widely used, and therefore, degradation of digestive absorption due to denaturation or decomposition of proteins and nutrition of vitamins and the like have been conventionally performed. There is a problem that the components are destroyed.

Means for Solving the Problems The present inventors have solved the above-mentioned problems associated with the conventional milk replacer, and have developed a substitute which is excellent in the above-mentioned properties such as stability, digestive absorption and high fat content. As a result of intensive studies to obtain a milk composition, by including lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester in the milk substitute composition, it is possible to increase the fat content in the milk substitute composition, and When the milk replacer composition is dissolved in water or warm water to make a milk replacer, the size of the fat globules can be made as small as 2 to 10 μm, which is almost the same as that of natural milk, thereby separating fats and oils. It has been found that such a substance has excellent stability without digestion and excellent digestibility. In addition, the present inventors, when the milk replacer composition having a high fat content, by employing a specific granulation method by low temperature,
It has been found that the components in the milk replacer composition are not deteriorated or denatured at the time of production, and that a milk replacer composition having a high nutritional value can be obtained, and the present invention has been completed based on these findings.

The milk replacer composition of the present invention contains lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester as essential components. Lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester, when the milk substitute composition is dissolved or emulsified and dispersed in water or warm water,
Due to its unique emulsifying action, the diameter of fat globules can be reduced and made uniform, which makes it difficult to separate fats and oils, improves the stability in milk substitutes, and increases the quality of livestock. When fed to young animals, it shows an excellent effect of increasing digestive absorption and suppressing the occurrence of indigestion such as diarrhea. Although the preferred effects of such lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester are not affected by the amount of fats and oils used,
It is most prominent in high-fat milk replacer compositions having a fat content of 20% by weight or more, especially 20 to 30% by weight. The size of fat globules in the milk replacer obtained by dissolving or dispersing the milk replacer composition of the present invention containing lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester in water or hot water is determined by the size of the fat globules contained in natural milk. It is extremely small, about 2 to 10 μm, which is almost the same.

[0015] The total content of lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester in the milk replacer composition of the present invention is from 0.5 to 0.5 based on the weight of the milk replacer composition.
It is preferably 3.0% by weight, more preferably 0.5-1.5% by weight. The preferred content ratio of lecithin: polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester in the milk replacer composition of the present invention is from 1: 1 to 1.4.
(Weight ratio), preferably from 1: 1.1 to 1.2.
(Weight ratio) is more preferable. If the total content of lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester in the milk replacer composition is less than 0.5% by weight, sufficient emulsification can be achieved when a large amount (particularly, 20% by weight or more) of fats and oils is contained. It is difficult to achieve the effect,
The size of fat globules in the milk substitute obtained by diluting the milk replacer composition with water or warm water tends to be large or non-uniform. On the other hand, when the total content of lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester exceeds the above 3.0% by weight, foaming is liable to occur when the milk replacer composition is dissolved in water or warm water, and handling during feeding is difficult. Become. Further, the content ratio of lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester deviated from the above ratio,
If the amount of polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester is less than 1 part by weight or 1 part by weight of lecithin, the amount of polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester is more than 1.4 parts by weight The milk replacer becomes unstable and easy to separate.

[0016] Lecithin used in the milk replacer composition of the present invention is not limited at all in its preparation method and origin.
Any of them can be used. For example, any of natural lecithin extracted from vegetable oil, eggs, and the like, and those obtained by subjecting these lecithins to purification, hydrogenation, enzymatic decomposition, and the like, can be used. Also, the purity of lecithin is not particularly limited, either high purity or not very high purity can be used.
For example, a by-product obtained in a commercially available soybean oil refining process can be used as it is without any problem.

The polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester used in the milk substitute composition of the present invention is a fatty acid ester of glycerin obtained by addition polymerization of ethylene oxide, and is preferably a partially esterified product such as a monoester or diester. . The polyoxyethylene chain is not particularly limited, but is preferably at least 15 mol. Also,
As the fatty acid component constituting the polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester, a fatty acid having about 6 to 24 carbon atoms is usually used. The fatty acid may be either a saturated fatty acid or an unsaturated fatty acid, and the fatty acid is not limited to a linear fatty acid but may be a branched fatty acid. Further, the fatty acid may optionally have a substituent such as a hydroxyl group, and is not necessarily limited to a monobasic acid, and may be a dibasic acid or the like.

The milk replacer composition of the present invention may further contain, if necessary, a saccharide as a component other than the above in an amount of usually 30% by weight or less based on the weight of the milk replacer composition. Can be. As the saccharides in that case, monosaccharides and / or oligosaccharides are preferably used, and examples thereof include glucose, fructose, lactose, and maltose, and the like.
These saccharides may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Among them, glucose is preferred because it hardly induces diarrhea and has good palatability.

In the production of the milk replacer composition of the present invention, any of the conventionally known methods can be used arbitrarily, but it is particularly preferable to produce the composition by the following method. That is, a method is preferred in which lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester are dissolved in fats and oils, and the fats and oils mixture is sprayed onto a powder raw material mainly composed of milk components and granulated while maintaining the liquid state at a temperature of 80 ° C. or lower. In the case of this method, by performing granulation at a low temperature of 80 ° C. or less, denaturation of proteins and destruction of vitamins can be suppressed, and decomposition, denaturation and deterioration of necessary nutrients are eliminated, and digestibility is reduced. It is possible to obtain a milk replacer composition having excellent diarrhea and extremely low nutritional value. At that time, the spraying of the fat and oil mixture, the powder raw material mainly composed of milk components and the like is gently stirred, tumbled, flowed, or swirled by appropriate means, and is smooth and excellent in fluidity, in the form of fine particles. A dry milk replacer composition can be obtained smoothly.

By dissolving or dispersing the above milk replacer composition of the present invention in water or warm water, preferably in warm water, a milk replacer to be supplied to young animals such as pups is prepared. 40 to 55 when using hot water
It is preferable to use one having a temperature of ° C. in that the milk substitute composition can be smoothly dissolved or dispersed to prevent the generation of lumps, and the heat does not cause the nutritional components to be denatured. The dilution ratio with water or warm water when preparing the milk replacer can be adjusted depending on the type of the young animal, the age (monthly age), the composition of the milk replacer composition, and the like. It is preferable to prepare a milk replacer by diluting with 12 times by weight of water or hot water.

(4) 1 kg of the milk replacer composition obtained in the above (3) is dissolved in 7 kg of warm water at 40 ° C. (dilution factor: 8).
Times) and a milk replacer having a fat and oil content of 2.3% were prepared. During the preparation of this milk replacer, the milk replacer composition generated some lumps, and it could not be said that the solubility in warm water was sufficiently good. The size of the fat globules in the milk replacer obtained thereby was measured using an optical microscope. As shown in Table 4 below, 90% or more of the fat globules had a size of about 10 to 50 μm. Thus, the size of the fat globules was much larger than the size of fat globules in natural milk. From the results in Table 4 above, it can be seen that the milk replacer compositions of the present invention of Examples 1 and 2 containing lecithin and polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid ester were:
The fat and oil content in the milk replacer composition can be as high as 20% by weight or more, and in the milk replacer obtained by dissolving it in warm water, the size of fat globules is smaller than that in natural milk. It is about 2 to 10 μm, which is almost the same, and is very small. As a result, the stability of the milk replacer is good, and separation of fats and oils does not occur even after 2 hours from the preparation of the milk replacer. It shows that calf growth is good without causing indigestion such as diarrhea and loose stool. On the other hand, in the case of the milk replacer composition of Comparative Example 1 containing lecithin and glycerin fatty acid ester,
Despite the fat content being 18% by weight, the milk substitute obtained by dissolving it in warm water has a fat globule size of 1%.
It is as large as 0 to 50 μm, so that the stability of the milk replacer is poor and the separation of fats and oils occurs 2 hours after preparation of the milk replacer, and furthermore, diarrhea and loose stools are generated, and the digestive absorbability is sufficiently good. Rather, it can be seen that calf growth performance is poor.
