【課題】エプロンを作りたくても製作過程で技術的に高度な部分があると、製作を断念する生徒が多かった。また、教師としても生徒には難しい部分を代わって作るなど、負担も大きかった。
【解決手段】そこで、あらかじめ布を裁断し、裁断した布の端がほつれないように、本体生地とウエストひも、首ひもにロックミシン加工（布端（裁ち目）の末に使う。布端をきりそろえながら縁をかがること）を施し、エプロン本体のボタン留め部分にボタンホール加工することによって、生徒たちは短時間で容易にエプロンを製作することができる。
