ドラム鏡板の外側に突出させた駆動軸の軸端を、機体支持フレームに固定支持されたドラムブラケット内に回転自在に軸支させる締固めローラのドラム支持構造において、
前記駆動軸の軸端が挿通されたドラムブラッケトの鏡板側開口部を閉じるためのギヤプレートの円筒状外周面と、前記ドラムブラッケトの鏡板側開口部の内周面との間に、円周方向に沿って断面逆U字形のゴム製リング状シール材を、摺動可能なるように配置するとともに、前記ボスの外周部におけるドラムブラッケトのケース背面と鏡板外側面との間に、円周方向に沿って断面V字形のゴム製リング状シール材を、一方の傾斜シール辺が鏡板側面と面接触しつつ摺動するように配置したことを特徴とする締固めローラのドラム支持構造。
