2. Description of the Related Art In an automatic fire alarm system, a plurality of sensors are connected in parallel to a two-wire sensor line of a receiver. Here, each sensor consists of a sensor base attached to a construction surface such as a ceiling, and a sensor head detachably attached to the sensor base, and the sensor head is attached to a mounting portion of the sensor base. When the sensor head is rotated, the pair of hook springs provided on the sensor head elastically engage with the pair of hook terminals provided on the mounting surface of the sensor base, respectively, so that the sensor head is mechanically and electrically. The structure is connected to the sensor base.

[0003] By the way, the connection of the sensor line in this type of conventional sensor has been made using a connection portion of a screw tightening structure provided on the sensor base. The sensor line connected to the connection section is connected to the hooking terminal by an appropriate method. However, when the electric wires are connected by such a screw tightening method, there is a problem that the connection state of the electric wires varies depending on the skill of an operator or the like.

[0004] Therefore, it has been considered that the connection portion has a quick connection terminal structure so that the electric wire can be connected to the sensor base by a so-called quick connection method. In other words, at this connection portion, a terminal plate and a locking spring that elastically presses the core wire of the electric wire to the terminal plate are provided inside, and only the core wire of the stripped electric wire is inserted from the wire insertion hole, It allows connection of electric wires.

By the way, in this type of fire alarm equipment, it is required to remove the connection once in order to check the feed wiring in the inspection of the fire department. Therefore, in the case of a sensor of the type that is mounted while being exposed to the ceiling surface as described above, it is preferable that the connection be removed without removing the sensor base. Therefore, the connection portion is provided on a surface facing the sensor head of the sensor base.

In the case where the connection portion having the quick connection terminal structure is provided on the surface facing the sensor head of the sensor base, if the connection portion is provided at the center portion of the surface facing the sensor head, the connection of the electric wires is performed. There is a problem that it becomes difficult. In other words, in order to prevent the wires connected to this type of sensor base from being damaged by hitting the corners of the wire insertion part on the ceiling, at least the part that exposes the core wire and exposes the core wire is inside the sensor base. Need to be located. The opening for leading the electric wire to the surface facing the sensor head is formed at the center in relation to the position of the hook terminal. For this reason, when the connecting portion is provided at the center, the length of the electric wire introduced into the sensor base becomes short, and connection to the connecting portion becomes difficult.

Here, in the case of the conventional screw connection type connection portion, a method is adopted in which the core wire is lengthened and unnecessary portions are cut after connection to the connection portion, thereby facilitating the connection. Was like that. However, in the case of the connection part of the quick connection method, an extra part cannot be cut later, and therefore, the above-described method of lengthening the core wire cannot be adopted. That is, if the core wire is lengthened in the connection portion of the quick connection method, the core wire portion is exposed outside the connection portion, which is not preferable.

Therefore, it is conceivable to provide the connecting portion at a position far from the opening. However, in this case, the engagement position between the hook spring and the hook terminal is set so that the sensor head can be mounted as firmly as possible.
Since the position is close to the outer peripheral portion of the sensor base, the connecting portion is located on the rotation trajectory of the hook spring, and there is a problem that the connection of the sensor head is hindered.

A method of connecting an electric wire to the connecting portion 13 having the above structure will be described. The connection of the electric wire is performed by inserting the core wire of the electric wire from which the sheath is peeled off and the core wire is stripped out into the electric wire insertion hole 13d. At this time, the core wire is elastically pressed against the terminal plate 16 by the locking piece 17a and the pressing piece 17b of the locking spring 17, and the electric connection between the electric wire and the terminal plate 16 is performed. Then, the locking piece 17a is locked to the core wire, thereby preventing the wire from coming off. In order to remove the electric wire from the connection portion 13, the release portion 13e may be pushed inward. At this time, the locked state of the locking piece 17a to the core wire is released by the pressing portion 13g, and the electric wire can be removed.

By the way, in the case of this type of conventional sensor, it is general that the connecting portion is not of a so-called quick-connecting terminal structure like the connecting portion 13 but of a screw tightening structure. With the tightening structure, the connection state varies depending on the skill of the operator, and there is a problem that it is difficult to obtain a uniform connection state. However, in the case of the connection portion 13 having the quick-connecting terminal structure as in this embodiment, the operator only has to insert the stripped electric wire into the electric wire insertion hole 13d, which is affected by the skill of the operator. Thus, a uniform connection state can be obtained.
