ここで、前記2つの転写ヘッドを配置した塗膜転写具もあるが、ケース内に繰出しロールと巻取りロールを2組植設するか、もしくは、同一の支軸に繰出しロールと巻取りロールを重ねて設置しなければならず、その分だけ従来品よりも製品のサイズが大きくなってしまい使用する際に持ちにくく転写しづらいものとなってしまっていた。

1例を図1〜図4に示し説明する。塗膜転写具本体1は、横断面が円形状の細長い形状をなしており、先端側の塗膜転写具部分と後端側の軸穴部2とで構成されており、その軸穴部2は後述する押圧転写部(塗膜転写具本体の先端側)が収納し得る空間部を有している。そして、塗膜転写具1の先端側には、押圧転写部を覆うように円形の筒状部材3が着脱自在に取り付けられている。また、その筒状部材の長さは塗布具転写具本体の先端、即ち、後述する押圧転写部の先端が露出しない長さを有している。尚、その筒状部材3の内壁面の両側部近傍には、放射状に4つの嵌合突起3aが形成されており、その嵌合突起3aが塗膜転写具本体1の先端側に形成した円周突起4に係脱可能に係合しているが、その円周突起を円周上の溝部としても良い。また、前記軸穴部2の外周は、塗膜転写具1の中間部よりも小径部となっており、その小径部にも筒状部材2の嵌合突起3aが係脱する円周突起5が形成されている。しかし、これら突起による嵌合に限定させることなく、例えば、凹部と凸部による嵌合やねじによる螺着などの係脱手段であっても良い。
前記塗膜転写具本体1はケース6とカバー7に分割されているが、圧入などの手段によって固着・開閉が可能なものとなっている。転写テープを使い切ってしまった場合、新たな転写テープと交換するが、その際に開閉し交換するのである。そのケース6の中間部の内面には2個の支軸8、9が一体に植設されている。そして、支軸8には基材テープの片面に塗膜を備えた転写テープ10を巻回した繰出しロール11が回転自在に挿着されており、一方、支軸9には使用後の転写テープを回収する巻取りロール12が挿着されている。これら繰出しロール11と巻取りロール12は、連動ロール13に歯合しており、互いが連動して回動するようになっている。また、ケース6の前方には、転写ヘッド14が設けられており、その転写ヘッド14の先端には押圧転写部15がケース6から突出した状態で配置されている。この様に構成されたケース6の上部にはカバー7が着脱自在に固定されており、ケース6内の構成要素の分解を防止している。
符号6aはケース6の側壁に形成された窓孔であって、具体的には、繰出しロール11の周縁近傍の位置に形成されている。万が一、転写テープが緩んでしまった場合に、この窓孔6aから細い物を差し込み、前記繰出しロールを回転圧せ、緩みを修正し張設するのである。
作用について説明する。押圧転写部15を覆い塗膜転写具本体1の先端部に係合している筒状部材3を外し、その外した筒状部材3を塗膜転写具本体1の軸穴部2の周状突起5に嵌合させる。次いで、前記押圧転写部15を転写したい箇所に押し付け、塗膜転写具本体1を移動させると、繰出しロール11に巻回された転写テープ10は引き出され、転写ヘッド14の押圧転写部15で転写テープ10の塗膜を被転写体に押圧して転写する。この時、前記繰出しロール11と巻取りロール12が連動ロールで連結されている為、転写後の基材テープが巻取りロール12によって緩むことなく巻き取られる。

ここで、使用例について説明する。他の転写テープ(塗膜転写具本体)、例えば、幅の違う転写テープ10を使用したい場合には、使用している塗膜転写具本体を後部に位置する筒状部材3から引き抜く。次いで、その引き抜いた塗膜転写具本体を後部に位置する塗膜転写具の筒状部材に嵌合させる。次いで、幅の違う塗膜転写具本体の前方に嵌合している筒状部材を引き抜いて、前記付け替えた塗膜転写具の後部(軸穴部)に嵌合させる(図4参照)。
また、前記引き抜いた塗膜転写具本体を逆向きにし、その逆向きにした状態で筒状部材に嵌合させることもできる。即ち、互いの押圧転写部15を逆向きに連結することによって各々の押圧転写部が露出し、此によって、連結し直すことなく幅の違う転写テープなどを使用することができるようになる(図5参照)。
尚、前記塗膜転写具本体1のケース6とカバー7は、その塗膜転写具本体1内に収納されている転写テープ10を視認できるように透明、或は半透明な樹脂で形成するのが望ましいが、不透明な樹脂や一部紙等の材質で形成してもよく、その材質を特に限定する必要はない。また、本実施例では塗膜転写具本体1のケース6、カバー7、並びに、筒状部材3を図4に示すように横断面形状を円形状とし細長い形状としているが、例えば、楕円形や多角形としても良く、その他の適宜な形状を選択することも可能である。塗膜転写具の横断面形状を円形状とし、使用する塗膜転写具本体、および使用しない塗膜転写具本体を直列状に連結することによって、細長い形状にすることができるため、一般的な筆記具のような形状となり、それ故に、筆記具を持つような把持の仕方で持つことができ、塗膜転写の際に持ちやすく、かつ転写しやすいという効果が発生する。
