BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a plate surface treating solution composition for a lithographic printing plate, and more particularly to a humidifying solution. More specifically, the present invention relates to a moisturizing liquid composition preferably used in a continuous water-supply type moisturizing liquid device.

2. Description of the Related Art In lithographic printing, both water and ink are supplied to a printing plate, an image portion selectively receives color ink, and a non-image portion selectively receives water, and the ink on the image, for example, paper. It is done by making it transfer to. Therefore, in order to obtain good printed matter, the difference between the lipophilicity and hydrophilicity of the surface between the image area and the background non-image area is sufficiently large, and when water and ink are applied, the image area requires a sufficient amount of ink. It is necessary that the receiving and non-image parts do not receive any ink. In other words, a proper balance of ink / water plays an important role in obtaining a good printed matter.

[0003] Too much water, that is, a humidifier, causes excessive emulsification of the ink, causing loss of water, delaying drying, and causing show-through. On the other hand, if the supply amount of the humidifying liquid is too small, the ink adheres to the non-image area, which causes soiling and the like.

In lithographic printing plates, there has been proposed a method of improving the ink / water balance in order to further improve the printing quality such as ink receptivity, prevention of stains, high speed and automation. Generally, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is added to the humidifier for this purpose, and the action of IPA is to increase the viscosity, lower the surface tension, and form a moderate W / O emulsion with the ink / humidifier. is there.

[0006] Since the Dahlgren water supply system was invented in the 1960s, all water supply systems have been designed from the beginning of development on the assumption that IPA is used. The characteristics of the continuous water supply device can be fully utilized by using IPA. That is, a uniform and minimum amount of the humidifying liquid can be supplied to the plate. Fast stabilization of water at the start of printing reduces spatter at the start. In recent years, it has been used in the Molton system and the sleep system because water is squeezed and a good printed matter is obtained.

When the PA content is 5% or less, a good printed matter cannot be obtained, and the continuous water supply device developed for the purpose of responding to high speed cannot sufficiently exhibit its true value. When used at 5% or more, it is necessary to attach a local exhaust device.

In order to solve such problems of IPA, Japanese Patent Publication No. 61-55480 discloses a method of reducing alcohol. However, the regulations on the prevention of organic solvent poisoning are still inadequate. No. 38
77372, a method using butyl cellosolve, JP-A-57-19969, a method using 2-ethyl-1,3-hexanediol, and JP-A-58-176280, a method of combining a glycol ether ester with a water-soluble polymer. . However, these humidifying liquids have drawbacks such as dirt on the water squeezing roller, entanglement of the net image, and difficulty in printing due to a narrow water width. On the other hand, JP-A-3-923
No. 92 states that, in order to provide printability equivalent to that of an IPA-containing humidifying solution, at least 10 hours after a new surface is formed.
Dynamic surface tension after 1 second is 25-50 mN / m (15 ° C)
And that the viscosity needs to be in the range of 1.05 to 5.0 cp.
