複数の挿入溝と受入れ溝とが設けられる絶縁ハウジングと、
絶縁ハウジングの挿入溝及び受入れ溝に装着され、押圧部とFPCに圧接する接触部とが設けられる複数の端子と、
端子の押圧部を収容する収容穴と、FPC及び端子の接触部を当接させる加圧部とを有し、閉鎖位置と該閉鎖位置から離反した開放位置との間で回動可能に支持され、絶縁ハウジングに保持された回動カバーと、
を含んで、前記回動カバーは、両端に設けた枢支軸及び該枢支軸の一端に突設された支持部を有し、絶縁ハウジングには該枢支軸及び支持部を収容する枢支部と凹溝とがそれぞれ設けられ、前記回動カバーが閉鎖位置と開放位置との間で枢支部の中心軸線を回動軸として回動し、前記回動カバーが前記開放位置に向けて回動した際に前記端子の押圧部と回動カバーの加圧部との間に隙間を有することを特徴とするFPC用電気コネクタ。
