Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide a food container capable of preventing mixing of foods and overlapping the containers.
A cardboard food container includes a base having four sidewalls and a V-shaped main ridge extending from an inner bottom of the base. The first V-shaped groove is defined at the outer bottom of the base and is arranged to correspond to the main ridge. A plurality of elongated slots are defined in the bottom of the base, and a V-shaped sorting ridge is coupled to the inner bottom to cover the slots. A plurality of second grooves are defined on the outer bottom of the base and are arranged to correspond to the sorting ridges. A lid is connected to one of the four side walls. The base can be overlapped by aligning the main ridge with the first groove and the separation ridge with the second groove.

Description

  The present invention relates to a cardboard food container which has several sorting ridges on the inner bottom and a plurality of grooves on the outer bottom so that the container can be superposed by fitting the ridges into the grooves.

  Conventional cardboard food containers typically include a base and a lid coupled to the top opening of the base. The base includes four side walls, thus forming a depth for storing food. Nevertheless, when two or more food products are placed on the same base, they are mixed together in a scattered manner, which is unacceptable to the user. Other cardboard food containers include two small containers that are glued together. This type of food container is expensive to assemble and lacks sufficient structural strength.

  SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a food container that includes a separating ridge at the inner bottom of the base, thereby preventing mixing of different foods and allowing the containers to be easily stacked on each other.

  The present invention relates to a cardboard food container including a base having four sidewalls and a main ridge extending from the inner bottom of the base. The first groove is formed on the outer bottom of the base and is arranged to correspond to the main ridge. A plurality of elongate slots are defined in the bottom of the base and open to two opposing side walls 22 and a main ridge 23 that are perpendicular to the elongate slots. The plurality of sorting ridges each include two side plates joined together on one of the longitudinal sides. Each side plate has a first coupling plate at the end and a second coupling plate on the other longitudinal side. The first coupling plate of each sorting ridge is attached to the inside of the side wall and to the main ridge. The second coupling plate is attached to the inner bottom of the base.

  The present invention may be better understood with reference to the following description of the invention, the accompanying drawings, which are shown by way of illustration only, and the preferred embodiment.

  As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the cardboard food container of the present invention includes a base 20 having a bottom 21 and four side walls 22. Lid 10 is coupled to one of four side walls 22 of base 20. The main ridge 23 extends from the inner bottom of the base 20, and the main ridge 23 is formed by bending the bottom 21 of the base 20, so that a V-shaped first groove 230 is formed at the outer bottom of the base 20. The first groove 230 is arranged so as to correspond to the main ridge 23. A plurality of elongate slots 24 are defined in the bottom 21 of the base 20 and communicate with two facing side walls 22 at right angles to the elongate slots 24 and a V-shaped opening 26 defined in the main ridge 23.

  The plurality of V-shaped separation ridges 30 each include two side plates joined together on one of the longitudinal sides. Each side plate has a first coupling plate 31 at the end and a second coupling plate 32 at the other longitudinal side. The first coupling plate 31 of each sorting ridge 30 is mounted inside the side wall 22 and the main ridge 23. The second coupling plate 32 is attached to the inner bottom of the base 20 and forms several partitions 25 for accommodating different types of food. The plurality of V-shaped second grooves 300 are defined on the outer bottom of the base 20 and communicate with the V-shaped opening 26.

  As shown in FIG. 4, the base 20 of the food container can be easily overlapped by combining the main ridge 23 with the first groove 230 and the separation ridge 30 with the second groove 300. The food container can be stored in such a manner, and the space can be effectively utilized.

  In the first embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the main ridge 23 is arranged parallel to the side wall to which the lid 10 is connected. In FIG. 5, which shows another embodiment of the invention, the main ridge 23 'is arranged at right angles to the side wall to which the lid 10 is connected. In FIG. 6, two main ridges 23 '' are arranged at right angles to the side wall to which the lid 10 is connected.

Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, it is obvious to those skilled in the art that further embodiments are possible without departing from the scope of the present invention.

A base (20) having four side walls (22) and a main ridge (23) extending from the inner bottom of the base (20);
A first groove (230) defined on the outer bottom of the base (20) and corresponding to the main ridge (23);
A plurality of elongate slots (24) defined in the bottom of the base (20), the elongate slots (24) being perpendicular to the elongate slots (24) and leading to the main ridge (23) and the opposing side walls (22). A slot (24);
A plurality of sorting ridges (30) each having two side plates joined together on one of the longitudinal sides, each side plate having a first joining plate (31) at an end and a second joining plate on the other of the longitudinal sides.
