Abstract
A modular container comprises a main box and a main cover detachably covering the box. A plate has a hollow column at a top side thereof and four recesses around side column to be received in the box. Four interior boxes, each of which consist of a box and a cover, are rested in the recesses of the plate respectively, and a second cover has a connector at a bottom side thereof and a gripper at a top side thereof. The second cover is detachably secured on a top end of the column of the plate. A chain runs through a through hole on the gripper of the second cover so that user can hold the chain to lift the plate and the interior boxes out of the main box.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates generally to a container, and more particularly to a modular container.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional container usually consisted of a box and a cover, wherein goods can be stored in the box, and then close the box with the cover. Such container only can store single type of good therein, it can not store different types of goods therein.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a modular container, which can store many types of goods therein.
- The second objective of the present invention is to provide a nodular container, which facilitates user to access goods stored therein easily.
- According to the objectives of the present invention, a modular container comprises a main box, a main cover detachably covering the box, a plate received in the box having a hollow column at a top side thereof and recesses around side column, interior boxes, each of which has at least a box and a cover, rested in the recesses of the plate respectively, and a second cover detachably covering a top end of the column of the plate.
- FIG. 1 is an exploded view of a first preferred embodiment of the present invention;
- FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of a part of FIG. 1;
- FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention;
- FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 are perspective views of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing the container in use;
- FIG. 6 an exploded view of a second preferred embodiment of the present invention;
- FIG. 7 is an enlarged view of a part of FIG. 6;
- FIG. 8 an exploded view of a third preferred embodiment of the present invention, and
- FIG. 9 is an enlarged view of a part of FIG. 8.
- Please refer to FIGS. from FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, a modular container of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention mainly comprises a
main box 10, amain cover 20, aplate 30, fourinterior boxes 40 and asecond cover 50, wherein - The
main box 10 has fourstop ribs 11 at an edge thereof and themain cover 20 has fourlock ribs 21 at an interior side of an edge thereof corresponding to the stop ribs 1I respectively such that themain cover 20 can be secured on themain box 10 for the engagement of thestop ribs 11 and thelock ribs 21. Theplate 30 has a size and shape corresponding to an inner space of themain box 10 and has ahollow column 31 at a center of a top side thereof. Thecolumn 31 has twogaps 3111 at a top end of a sidewall of a central through hole thereof and has twolock flanges 311 between thegaps 3111 respectively. Theplate 30 further has fourrecesses 32 at the top side thereof around thecolumn 32. Each of theinterior boxes 40 consist abox 41 and acover 42 to be rested in therecesses 32 of theplate 30 respectively. Thebox 41 has anannular slot 411 at a top side thereof and aconnection portion 412 at a bottom side thereof. Thesecond cover 50 has aboard 51, aconnector 52 at a bottom side of theboard 51 and agripper 53 at a top side of theboard 51. Theconnector 52 has twotenons 521 at opposite sides and thegripper 53 has a throughhole 531 for passing achain 54 therethough. Thesecond cover 50 can be secured on the top end of thecolumn 31 of theplate 30 by means of the engagement of thetenons 521 of thesecond cover 50 and thegaps 3111 of thecolumn 31 and then rotation thesecond cover 50 for thelock flanges 311 against thetenons 521. - In combination, rest the
interior boxes 40 in therecesses 32 of theplate 30 respectively and secure thesecond cover 50 at the top end of thecolumn 31, and then rest the plate 30 (with the interior boxes 50) in themain box 10, and at last cover themain cover 20 on themain box 10 as shown in FIG. 3. - Please refer to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, in use, classified goods, such as cosmetic, drugs and small stationary etc., can be received in the
interior boxes 40 and the central hole of thecolumn 31 of theplate 30 respectively. If a user wants to access the goods stored in the modular container of the present invention, he/she can loose themain cover 20 and hold thechain 53 to lift theplate 30 and theinterior boxes 40 out of themain box 10, and then open the veryinterior boxes 40 or loose thesecond cover 50 from thecolumn 31 to access the goods received therein. - Please refer to FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, a modular container of the second preferred embodiment of the present invention, which is similar to the first preferred embodiment, has four interior boxes, each of which consists of two
boxes 41 and acover 42. Eachbox 41 has anannular slot 411 at a top side thereof and a connection portion at a bottom side thereof so that they can be stacked in sequence. And then thecover 42 is cover on theupper box 41 so that eachinterior box 40 can receive more classified goods therein. It is similar to the first preferred embodiment, theinterior boxes 40 can be rested inrecesses 32 of aplate 30 and asecond cover 50 is secured on acolumn 31 of theplate 30 by means of engagement oftenons 521 on thesecond cover 50 andgaps 3111 on thecolumn 31 and then rotation thesecond cover 50 forlock flanges 311 on thecolumn 31 against thetenons 521. The plate 30 (with the interior boxes 40) is received in amain box 10 and then amain cover 20 is secured on themain box 20 by means of engagement ofstop ribs 11 on themain box 11 and lockribs 21 on themain cover 20. - Please refer to FIG. 8 and FIG. 9, a modular container of the third preferred embodiment of the present invention, which is similar to the first and the second preferred embodiments, comprises a
main box 10′ amain cover 20′, aplate 30′, sixinterior boxes 40′ and asecond cover 50, wherein - The
main box 10″, themain cover 20′ and theinterior boxes 40′ are round. Themain box 10′ has anannular stop rib 11′ at an edge thereof and themain cover 20′ has fourlock ribs 21′ at an interior side of an edge thereof corresponding to thestop rib 11′ such that themain cover 20′ can be secured on themain box 10′ for the engagement of thestop rib 11′ and thelock ribs 21′. Theplate 30′ has a size and shape corresponding to an inner space of themain box 10′ and has ahollow column 31′ at a center of a top side thereof. Thecolumn 31′ has twogaps 3111′ at a top end of a sidewall of a central through hole thereof and has twolock flanges 311′ between thegaps 3111 respectively. Theplate 30′ further has sixrecesses 32′ at the top side thereof around thecolumn 32′. Each of tileinterior boxes 40′ consist abox 41′ and acover 42′ to be rested in therecesses 32′ of theplate 30′ respectively. Thebox 41′ has anannular slot 411′ at a top side thereof and aconnection portion 412′ at a bottom side thereof. Thesecond cover 50 has aboard 51, aconnector 52 at a bottom side of theboard 51 and agripper 53 at a top side of theboard 51. Theconnector 52 has twotenons 521 at opposite sides and thegripper 53 has a throughhole 531 for passing achain 54 therethrough. Thesecond cover 50 can be secured on the top end of thecolumn 31′ of theplate 30′ by means of the engagement of thetenons 521 of thesecond cover 50 and thegaps 311′ or thecolumn 31′ and then rotation thesecond cover 50 for thelock flanges 311′ against thetenons 521. - The advantages of the present invention are:
- 1. Goods can be received in the interior boxes and the central hole of the column of the plate, it facilitates user to classify goods and receives them in the interior boxes and column of the modular container of the present invention.
- 2. User can hold the chain to lift the plate with the interior boxes out of the main box, it facilitates user to-access goods received therein.
Claims (4)
1. A modular container, comprising:
a main box;
a main cover detachably covering said box;
a plate received in said box having a hollow column at a top side thereof and recesses around side column;
interior boxes, each of which has at least a box and a cover, rested in said recesses of said plate respectively, and
a second cover detachably covering a top end of said column of said plate.
2. The modular container as defined in claim 1 , wherein said column of said plate has two gaps at a top end of a sidewall of a central hole thereof and two lock flanges between said gaps respectively and said second cover has a connector at a bottom side thereof and at least a tenon on said connector.
3. The modular container as defined in claim 1 , wherein said second cover has a through hole and a chain passing therethrough.
4. The modular container as defined in claim 1 , wherein said interior box has two boxes and a cover stacked in sequence.
