Description

The present invention relates to a chair with a low sitting height which can be used when a memorial buddha or listening to a peace in a Japanese-style room of a temple with tatami mats.

Many people come and go to temples, old and new, chanting for a long time and listening to peace for a long time. If this is about 10 to 20 minutes, it is not so painful, but if you continue to sit for 1 hour or more, your feet will be stiff and your legs and backs will hurt. In particular, many elderly people cannot sit down because their knee joints are so bad that they cannot even visit temples.

Of course, it is a pain not only for old people but also for relatively young people to continue sitting for a long time. In particular, it is not easy to keep sitting in a sitting position. Therefore, it is possible to cope with a long-lasting Buddha and peace by using a chair, but a general office chair has a high sitting height and is not suitable for a Buddhist memorial. In addition, since there are four legs, if a chair is placed on a tatami mat in a Japanese-style room, the legs will bite into the tatami mats and damage the surface.

FIGS. 4A and 4B show a conventional seat chair for a Buddhist memorial, where FIG. 4A shows a single seat chair and FIG. 4B shows a case where the seat chairs are stacked. The chair has two legs (a) and (b) that form a pair by bending a pipe. Both legs (a) and (a) are stable because the lower end is widened, and the horizontal rails (b) and (b) are horizontal at the upper end of the legs (a) and (a). A seat plate (c) is mounted horizontally on the horizontal rails (b) and (b).

Therefore, worshipers can sit on a seat plate (c) of a chair, and even if they sit for a long time, their legs will not be sibirel, but it is not easy because there is no backrest. However, in the case of storage, since the legs (a) and (a) have a shape that spreads downward, there is an advantage that they can be stacked as shown in (b).

By the way, worshipers can sit on the seat plate (c) of the chair, but they may sit in a sitting position, in which case the leg below the knee is bent to the lower side of the seat plate (c). If the user sits down on the sitting chair in a sitting position, the foot (d) of the leg (a) hits the sitting leg and becomes an obstacle. Therefore, it is difficult to sit straight, and it is painful to hit the foot (d), and cannot sit straight for a long time.

As described above, the chair for the Japanese-style room used for the conventional worship has the above-mentioned problem. The problem to be solved by the present invention is this problem. To provide a chair for a Japanese-style room that has a backrest, is easy to sit, can sit in a sitting position, and does not damage the tatami surface of the Japanese-style room. .

The chair for a Japanese-style room according to the present invention includes a seat, a backrest, and legs. The chair has a frame made of metal pipes, and the seat with the backrest is mounted on the legs. Here, the leg portion has both left and right legs, the two legs are connected at the connecting portion, and the seat portion is supported on the connecting portion.

One leg has two legs, and a lower end of the leg has a foot portion, which extends across both legs. Therefore, the foot portion contacts the tatami surface of the Japanese-style room on the entire surface, does not cause a local high surface pressure, and the tatami mat is not damaged. Also, since the legs are provided on both sides, there is a space between the legs, and when sitting in a sitting position, the leg below the knee can be inserted between both legs.

The chair for a Japanese-style room according to the present invention is provided with horizontally extending feet at the lower ends of the legs, so that it can be used by being arranged on a tatami mat surface. That is, the lower surface of the foot portion can bear the load acting on the chair by hitting the tatami mat surface, and the tatami mat surface is not scratched because of a large contact area. Since the legs are provided on both sides of the legs to provide a large space between the legs, there is no obstacle when sitting down and sitting down. In addition, since the backrest is provided behind the seat plate, it is possible to lean on the backrest and to enjoy a long-lasting Buddha or peace without getting tired.

1 and 2 show an embodiment of a chair for a Japanese-style room according to the present invention, wherein 1 denotes a seat, 2 denotes a backrest, and 3 denotes a leg. The seat 1 and the backrest 2 are attached to a frame 4 formed by bending a single pipe into a substantially L shape, and the seat 1 is mounted on a leg 3.

Here, the material and form of the seat portion 1 and the backrest portion 2 are not limited. However, as shown in FIG. It has a structure that can do. On the other hand, the leg 3 supporting the seat 1 has a portal shape as shown in FIG. 1, and has legs 5a and 5b on both sides. The height of the legs 5a and 5b is not limited, but the height of the legs 5a and 5b is lower if the chair is capable of sitting in a sitting position.

The legs 5a, 5b are connected at their upper ends by two front and rear connecting portions 6, 6, and the seat portion 1 is mounted on the connecting portions 6, 6 and attached thereto. As is apparent from the side view shown in FIG. 2, the legs 5 a and 5 b have a frame 7 in which a pipe is bent in a substantially U-shape, and a reinforcing portion 8 is provided in the middle so as to extend horizontally. A foot 9 is provided at the lower end.

The leg 5 has two substantially leg-shaped legs 10a and 10b, the reinforcing portion 8 connects an intermediate portion between the two legs 10a and 10b, and the foot 9 connects the lower ends of the two legs 10a and 10b. Connected. The foot 9 extends forward and backward from the front and rear legs 10a, 10b. The leg 5 has a substantially U-shape, but the front leg 10a stands upright with respect to the foot 9, and the rear leg 10b stands up with inclination with respect to the foot 9. That is, when sitting on a chair and leaning on the backrest 2, the rear leg 10a is inclined to ensure stability so as not to fall backward.

As is clear from the front view of FIG. 1, the legs 10a, 10b,... Of the legs 5a, 5b are bent outward at the lower ends thereof to increase the distance between the legs 5a, 5b, thereby reducing the size of the chair. The shape is designed for stability. By the way, the chair can be arranged and seated on the tatami mat, and the foot 9 attached across the lower ends of the legs 10a and 10b comes into full contact with the tatami mat surface, and There is no significant local load. In the embodiment shown in the figure, the foot 9 is also made of a pipe, but a bar having a flat bottom surface can also be used.

3A and 3B show a case where a plurality of chairs are stacked. The legs 10a of the roughly U-shaped legs 5a, 5b are spread downward, and the lower ends of the legs 5a, 5b are curved outward, so that the legs 3, 3,. They can be fitted together and stacked. That is, the legs 3 of the upper chair are fitted and stacked on the legs 3 of the chair located on the lower side.

FIG. 2 is a front view of the chair according to the present invention. FIG. 2 is a side view of the chair according to the present invention. The chairs according to the present invention are stacked, (a) is a front view, and (b) is a side view. (a) shows a conventional chair, and (b) shows a case where the chairs are stacked.
