【考案の属する技術分野】
本考案は、サイクリストのための防水性レッグカバーに関するものであり、詳細には、雨天時に、サイクリストのズボン及び靴下や靴に雨水が浸透したり、汚泥が付着するのを防止するための背面開閉式ブーツ型レッグカバーに関するものである。同レッグカバーは、突然の雨に対応出来る着脱の容易さや、夜間走行の安全性も兼備している。

【従来の技術】
雨天時に自転車に乗る時、従来、サイクリストは、単にズボンのみへの雨水の浸透や、汚泥の付着を防止するための防水性のレッグカバーを着用する。

【考案が解決しょうとする課題】
上記、従来のレッグカバーを着用することによって、ズボンへの雨水の浸透や、汚泥の付着は一応阻止することが出来るものの、靴下や靴への影響を考えると充分な保護機能が達成されているとは言いがたい。即ち従来のレッグカバーは、脚部は覆うようになっているが、足の裏まで覆うようになっていないので、靴下から靴の中までズブ濡れになり、不快になる。

従来のレッグカバーは、背面開閉式になっていないので、ズボンや履物を履いたままでの着脱が不便である。

【問題を解決するための手段】
上記問題を解決するために、背面開閉式ブーツ型防水性外皮に、足の裏の前部を覆うための強度の高い特殊生地と中央部を支える強力なゴムバンドを縫合一体化し、サイクリストの膝上から足の裏まで覆うようにしている。

雨中で、ズボンや履物の上から着脱が速やかに出来るよう、外皮の背面をオープンにし、マジックテープを装着し簡易開閉式にしている。

夜間の安全走行をはかるため、外皮の背面に再帰反射テープを縫着している。

【考案の実施の形態】
ブーツ型防水性外皮の背面部分を、下端１６ｃｍの所から上端までオープンにし、そこからサイクリストが、靴を履いたままで足を挿入する。その後、マジックテープでオープン部分を速やかに閉じる。膝の上下は内蔵ゴムで、足の裏は特殊生地とゴムバンドと踵の所の内蔵ゴムで、しっかり固定され、膝上から足の裏までスッポリ覆われるので、ズボンは勿論、靴下や靴への雨水の浸透や、汚泥の付着が防止される。夜間走行には、外皮の背面に縫着された再帰反射テープがサイクリストの視認性を高め、安全効果がある。

【実施例】
以下、図１を参照しながら、本考案の具体例を説明する。本考案に係わる自転車用背面開閉式ブーツ型防水性レッグカバーは、サイクリストの膝上部分（１）から、爪先（２）までを覆う背面開閉式ブーツ型外皮（３）と、足の裏を覆う強度の高い特殊生地（４）及び強力ゴムバンド（５）とを縫合一体化することによって、ズボンには勿論、靴下や靴への雨水の浸透や汚泥の付着を防止する構体を形成している。

【考案の効果】
本考案によれば、雨天時における自転車走行において、サイクリストのズボンは勿論、靴下や靴への雨水の浸透や、汚泥の付着が完全に防止され、快適である。突然の雨でも、履物の上から簡単に着用できる。夜間走行時も、再帰反射テープの効果でサイクリストの視認が容易であり、安全である。
