Abstract
【課題】 監視用カメラシステムは監視用カメラ、映像モニター、記録装置から構成され、監視したい場所に、監視用カメラを設置し、離れた場所に映像モニター及び記録装置を設置し、監視カメラ設置場所からの映像信号を映像モニターや記録装置に伝達して、監視や記録が行われている。監視カメラ設置場所から映像モニターや記録装置に映像信号を伝達する方法としては、ケーブルや無線を用いているが、ケーブルを用いた場合は、監視カメラ設置場所から映像モニターや記録装置までのケーブルの配線工事が必要であり、容易に設置することが出来ない問題点がある。また、無線を用いた場合は、監視用カメラの設置場所から映像モニターや記録装置までの間に電波遮蔽物があると伝達が出来ない問題点がある。従って監視用カメラと記録装置を一体化することで前述の欠点を解決しようとするものである。
【解決手段】 本考案は、監視用カメラ筐体内に大きな記録容量を持つ例えばハードディスクや不揮発性のメモリーユニットなどの記録媒体を設け、映像信号を記録し、記録容量が満杯になった際には、自動的に順次最も古い映像信号を消去し、新しい映像信号を記録することでエンドレスの記録機能を設け、監視に必要な例えば５日間程度の期間の記録をする。また、再生を行いたい時には、記録媒体を映像モニター装置に接続して再生を行うことで問題点を解決している。
