図1に於いて、工作機械のヘッドが装着される窓状体Cは、それの上下方向の端部に金属薄板を摺動自在に重ね合わせ、夫々の薄板が摺動伸縮方向に連結するようにした、図6の断面図に示す鉄板製カバーEの一端E1,及び他端E2を夫々対向する窓枠状体Bの図中上及び下の辺に固定し、互いに連結した窓状体C、鉄板製カバーEは、窓枠状体Bの図中左右に設けた案内レールB1,B2に沿って垂直方向に摺動する如くなしている。
窓枠状体Bは、それの図中左右方向の端部に、図3の斜視図に示す、断面略長方形の金属ブロックD2の幅方向両端部より奥部に湾曲部を有する溝D3−1,D3−2を設けた隣接金属ブロック体D2の左右溝D3−1、D3−2に、図4の斜視図に示す断面がダンベル形のゴム状弾性体よりなる帯状体D1の膨らみ部D1−1,D1−2を挿入することによって、複数の金属ブロック体D1を図2の断面図に示す如く連結して、2本のベルト状体DA,DBを形成し、そのベルト状体DA,DBの夫々の一端を窓枠状体Bの図中左右の辺B1,B2に固定し、夫々の他端は、後で説明する引出し装置に装着する。
上記によって窓枠状体Bの左右に連結されたベルト状体DA,DBは、窓枠状体Aの図中上下に設けた案内レールA1及びA2に沿って、図中左右に自在に摺動する。
